Nashville Nights

I replied to my injured friend, "You mean a real life saber tooth tiger?"
He replied, "Yeah, as in Ice Age, you know the movie with the crazy squirrel."
My sister, who has by now started taking notes on the conversation, "Ice Age sabertooth tiger. Huh. Also, Kay, you are free to go mingle with your teammates. Tell them to stay in the locker room. I need to talk to Tris."
"Okay, Tina.". My best friend then limped out. I could tell that he was trying to hide his pain and suffering. As I watched him, my sister only smirked at me.
"Sis, you love him. Admit it. . She said to me mockingly.
"No matter how much I want to admit it, I can't. I have Archangels and other creatures after me. I don't want to get him involved. Or killed."
My sister then sat down next to me, "No matter what you do, that boy is going to get involved. He likes you too by the way."
"Why me?". I had no idea of what I could say to her to that comment. So, I decided to change the topic, "How are we going to protect the players? You and I...are the best shot to protect them."
"We know the locker room is safe, and the area where the cars are located is safe. If maybe you can lead them through, while I guard them, then maybe we can get all of them out of here."
"That's a great idea Tina! Now, how do we do that without alerting the tiger?"
She was quiet for a few, and her being quiet was a bad idea for the tiger, because a quiet Kristina is a constructive Tina. "We try to sneak out. If not, run. I know this is going to sound dumb, but do you have anyway of contacting fellow hunters? Or weapons?"
"I forgot to tell you, but Team Free Will helped me out. I broke my ankle, before I got all of this Grace inside of me. And Bobby Singer too. Also, " I said while pulling out my Angel Blade, "I have this and a car like the Impala with a whole bunch of weapons. The Winchesters hooked me up big time."
"Of all people to have weapons in their car, you would be my last guess. I would guess Fish or one of the animal hunters would have some. But you? . She laughed at me.
"Shut up. Now, let's get the kids out of the Ice Age. You man point, I got the back."
"Okay. But remember, no one survives a night in the Maze."
"We are not in a Maze! But close enough." The two of us walked out together. At that moment, it was the two of us against the monster.
