Anna fell backward as Maria threw herself on top of her. Anna struggled to fight back as Maria pinned down her wrists. Finally, Mike jumped in to help her. He pushed Maria off of Anna. Maria turned and looked at him. Mike noticed that her pupils had become a solid black color, and that she was no longer something human.
Maria screamed in protest as she was knocked off of Anna. She struggled to break free of Mike’s grasp, but he was stronger than her. Mike pinned Maria down in the corner and used some skate laces to tie her hands to a rack that was drilled into the wall. When he was sure that knots would hold her he left her there.
Darcy ran over to Anna, who in her struggle with Maria had been cut above her elbow on her left arm. It was bleeding a lot, and Darcy didn’t know what to do about it. Mike kneeled down next to Darcy and tore a piece of fabric from the bottom of his shirt. He wrapped it tightly around Anna's cut and tied it so it would stay.
He then turned his attention to the psychotic Maria. She was screeching her head off as she struggled against his bonds. In a split second, both Maria and Mike realized that the knife was about a foot from where Maria was tied up. Mike lunged for the knife. Maria grinned as she contorted herself so she could reach the knife. Mike gasped as he watched Maria beet him to the knife in a maneuver that was completely impossible for a human to even attempt. She bent completely over backwards and grabbed the knife with her teeth. She got to it before he could.
He looked over right as Maria had cut the last of the knots that he had tied. She took off out the door and down the hall. Anna jumped up and ran to followed her. Mike grabbed a skate and sprinted after both of them. Darcy, who didn't want to be left alone, grabbed another skate and brought up the rear.
"That's right lovies!" Screamed Maria maniacally. "Chase me!" They followed her through the halls of Kettler Capitals Iceplex. She finally turned into a room. She didn't pick just any room. She stopped in the room where the team sharpened their skates and shortened their sticks. The room filled with saws and power tools. The room filled with weapons.
