For the next 3 weeks things seemed to have gone back to normal, normal for me at least. I once again was seeing Jamie and Tyler some night of the week, except for the odd occasions where I didn’t hear from either of them for a couple of days. I didn’t worry much about that thought, because for the most part I was pretty contend with my life at the moment, which may explain my good mood on this particular Saturday.
“Good work Karen, we kicked ass in that class.” We shared a high after as everyone filed out of the studio after are first Zumba lesson.
“Yeah that felt really good.” She replied and wiped her face with a towel and I did the same.
“So I really want to party tonight,” I took a sip of my water bottle.
“Beth when are you not in the mood for a party.” She chuckled and I shrugged.
“But I’m in the mood for like a really wild house party.”
“Good luck with that, you have a small apartment and your neighbors are old they will flip out on you.” She said as she sat down on the floor, and I was quick to follow.
“I can call Rebecca and Kate, they have a sick house and they’re always in the mood to party, so I may be able to persuade.” I gave Karen a wink, see, Rebecca and Kate have been friends with Karen, Vanessa, and I since sophomore year. When we meet at a frat party. We didn’t hand out with them much, but they could be put to good work once in a while. See, Rebecca’s father is a millionaire so he bought Kate and her a sick house when she graduated.
“If you do that, I’ll go.’’ She said to my surprise. Karen didn’t party a lot but when she did, she usually goes all out.
“That would be so awesome! I’m going to call them right now.” I picked up my phone from the floor and dialed Rebecca. It didn’t take long for her to answer which didn’t surprise me, her phone was pretty much attached to her hand.
“Hey babe!” Her voice was just as pitchy as ever. “Haven’t heard from you in a while, what’s going on?” Rebecca and Kate are, how should I put it, your typical party girls. They didn’t have blonde hair and push up bras but they act like bimbos and talk like bimbos which is why I can’t hang out with them too long.
“Not much just finished a class with Karen, how are you?” I tried to sound as nice as possible since her voice just annoyed me sometimes.
“I’m so good, drinking champagne with Kate right now trying to figure out if we want to go out tonight or not.” She replied which made me jump up and down of joy in my head.
“Well then how about a night in,” I asked.
“I’m listening,” she replied.
“We should have the sickest house party tonight, at your place since I just have a small apartment. We should invite everyone we know and more, I want this to be a rave.” I explained my idea but it went silent in the phone for a minute which made me a little nervous.
“We don’t know, people can steal stuff and damage our house.” She whined causing Karen and I to roll our eyes. Like she couldn’t afford to replace it.
“Everyone in Dallas would be talking about it, come on I know you want to!” I smiled, because I knew that would get her, if there’s something they love more than money, its attention.
“Alright, let’s do it but you’ll have to get some things.”
“Absolutely,” I winked at Karen, “send me a text with a list of all the things we should get. We can get it fixed right away since we just had our last class for today and then come over to drop it off.”
“Sounds good,” Rebecca agreed before the phone clicked off.

Nine hours and about seven drinks later, the party was in full swing. We expect at least fifty more people and right now we’re like forty people dancing and drinking.
“Shot race!” Someone named Ben yelled and everyone turned their attention to Rebecca and me as we prepared for a shot competition. They counted us down and then we started, I love tequila so I had no problem drinking ten shots in record time. When I finished I put my arms up and yelled, getting everyone pumped up. I looked at Rebecca across from me, she’s not even halfway and everyone laughed at her. All of the sudden my party songs started playing out loud Trey Songz - Na Na. I ran to the living room and joined the people who were dancing like no one’s watching. I love dancing, because I’m good at it so I started moving my hips to the music and we were a group of girls who danced against each other which turned a lot of guys’ attention.
The song was just coming to an end when I spotted a blonde guy in the corner of my eye, he looked like someone God sent down from heaven just for me. When Jeremiah’s song Birthday Sex came on I grabbed him and pushed him down in the couch. He smirked at me, looking me up and down he tried to grab my ass but I didn’t let him.
“Be patience,” I shouted and started to give him a lap dance. I grinded my ass against him and moved my hips to the rhythm.
I bit my lip and faced him, looking deep in his eyes while grinding against him. I could feel that he got excited and that made me happy. His hand landed on my waist pushing me closer to him, I looked down and we locked lips. I moaned against his lips and he stuck his tongue in his mouth. It was like my tongue now gave him a lap dance in our mouths. I didn’t even see the people around us, it felt like we were the only people there. It’s been so long since I’ve been with anyone but Tyler or Jamie that I almost forgot what it was like to make out with another guy.
Just when I was about to suggest we more to a more seclude spot someone dragged me off him. I looked back to see who it was, very annoyed that my very enjoyable moment just ended.
“Rebecca, what the fuck, I’m busy if you couldn’t tell.” I looked back and pointed at the guy only to see that he already left, he joined some other girls on the dance floor we created earlier.
“Sorry, it’s just Mike and his friends are here and you have to come meet them, they are super-hot.” Rebecca yelled so I could hear her over the music.
“You are kidding right? You dragged me off a super-hot dude just to tell me that?’’ I asked and stared at her.
She only shrugged, “did I mention they’re super-hot.”
I sighed, it wasn’t like I was going to get much more fun out of the super-hot blonde anyway, “okay, where are they?”
“They’re in the kitchen doing shots.” She smiled like she just won the lottery or something, and dragged me in the direction of the kitchen.
She showed me and I studied them, I could easily recognize Mike from the picture that Rebecca showed us earlier. He was laughing at something his friend told him and then chugged a beer. My eye wandered around the group of guys and that’s when I noticed two people I recognize all to well. I ran to the door and just peeked inside to look at them, making sure I just saw what I really saw.
“Told you they were hot.” She smirked. “So I was thinking that I could take Tyler, you see the…”
“How do you know Tyler,” I questioned, not that I really cared if he had some going on with Rebecca, but because I know I’m way better then she is.
“I forgot you don’t watch hockey,” she rolled her eyes like a commit the biggest sin in the world. “Well Tyler’s plays for the Dallas Stars, the NHL team, and he’s friends with Mike.”
“So where does Jamie fit into this picture.”
“You mean Jamie Benn,” she pointed to the man standing next to Tyler.
I nodded.
“He also plays for the Stars and is like one of Tyler’s best friends.”
“Shit,” I leaned against the wall and ran a hand though my hair.
“Is everything okay?” Rebecca looked me over like I had three heads, and I couldn’t blame her. I’ve never passed up an opportunity to sleep with anyone, but I couldn’t tell Rebecca the reason I didn’t want to sleep with was because I already was.
“Yea,” I swallowed, “I just think I’m going to be sick.” I pushed myself away from the wall as I made my way to the stairs so I could retrieve my things from Kate’s room.
“Where are you going?” Karen grabbed my elbow as we passed on the stairs. “The parties just getting started.”
“Exactly why I have to leave.” I yanked my elbow back.
“Wow Beth, are you feeling okay? I’ve never seen you leave a party early.”
“Yea, well I’ve never been to a party were both the boys that I’m sleeping with show up.”
“You mean Tyler and Jamie are here?” Her face lite up as the realization of what I just told her sunk in.
“Yeah.”
“Wow, where are they, I want to see them.”
“Karen,” I sighed.
“Fine, call a cab or something, I’ll cover for you.”
“Thank you Karen.” I gave her a soft smile as I continued my journey to Kate’s room.

I waited and waited it felt like the cab took forever to get here. I heard that someone stepped outside and closed the door, I turned around to see who it was and my heart pounded like crazy at this point.
“Mary, I saw you through the window, what are you doing here?” Tyler slurred and sat down beside me, I could tell that he was just as drunk as I was.
“I’m waiting for my cab, I’m heading home.” I explained and looked back at the house, afraid that Jamie would step outside at any moment.
“No, come back inside.” Tyler whined and I could feel his breath against my neck, causing shivers down my back. Luckily the cab arrived and I quickly got up from the porch.
“Bye Tyler, have fun!”
“Wait!” He shouted and grabbed my arm.
“Let me come with you.” He dragged me closer to his body and it made me feel weak.
“Fine, hurry then.” I dragged him to the cab and we got into the backseat. I didn’t want him to join me, but Tyler probably wouldn’t give in and I wanted to get out of here.
I gave the taxi driver my address and he started driving. The radio played calm music making me sleepy, Tyler pulled me to him and I rested my head on his chest when he put his arms around me. He placed a kiss on my head and then looked outside the car window. This felt nice and for a moment I forgot that I’m also screwing his best friend.
