With the "Enemy"

I Swear, I'm not a Flyer Fan

Hockey is murder on ice-Jim Murray (The one quote to describe a Pittsburgh-Philly game.)

Jackie has always loved hockey games, the way the home crowd cheered their team and booed the 'enemy'. What she loved even more were old time rivalries, like the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers or Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens. Those types of games always offer a lot more action.
It really surprised Jackie just how many Philly fans there were in Pittsburgh, just like it surprised her how she didn't get attacked for wearing Flyers gear in downtown Pittsburgh. If it was the opposite and they were in Philly, Jackie would never wear Penguins' gear in downtown, that's kind of an invitation for being attacked, it just wasn't safe.
Please stand and remove you hats for the singing of our national anthem, the arena broadcaster said. After the anthem was sung, it was time for the puck to drop. This is when the real action starts, and trust Jackie there WILL be action.
Jackie couldn't help but smile when she heard the Pittsburgh crowd boo when the Flyers scored and cheered when the Penguins scored. Malkin was able to get her really good seats, center ice behind the benches and about 6 rows up.
"How did a Flyers' fan get such good seats? She keeps on eyeing Malkin, she's such a puck bunny," a girl said behind her. Jackie turned around to see two girls in very low cut tops, extremely tight leggings, and heels.
"Sure and they're calling me a puck bunny," Jackie thought.
"You know, I actually know Evgeni Malkin, we met at the 2010 Olympics. That is how I got such good seats. Also I'm more of a Penguins fan then Flyers, I'm just wearing this because my brother plays for them," Jackie told them, "Now please leave me alone, the third period is starting."
Jackie turned back to the ice to hear the two girls mumbling insults about her. The third period started kind of slow. Almost 7 minutes in the Flyers got another goal making it 3-2 Philly. It was back and fourth goal scoring and the horn and the Flyers won 5-3. Jackie figured she should probably go see her brother first then go see Geno.
Once she got down towards the locker rooms 20 minutes later, she showed the security guard the pass Geno gave her. As soon as she was let in, Jackie made her way to the visitor's locker room.
Jackie found her brother sitting in his stall next to Wayne Simmonds. All the reporters left or were in the process of leaving so Jackie threw her Boston Blades sweatshirt at her brother and plopped down on Wayne's lap.
"What was that for?" Claude asked.
"I was tired of holding it and I like him better," she told him.
"She likes me better," Wayne smiled.
"Trader," her brother muttered, balling up his sister's sweatshirt.
"Hey, I paid good money for that, don't mess it up," Jackie said reaching over to taker her sweatshirt away from Claude.
"What are you talking about, it was given to you," he said.
"You know what I mean, nice game to night boys," Jackie yelled and cheers erupted through the group of hockey players.
"Nice speech, I can see why the Blades made you captain," Claude said sarcastically.
"Whatever, I promised a friend I would meet then after the game and I have to get going, later guys," Jackie said leaving the locker room.
It wasn't a complete lie, Jackie did promise to meet a friend after the game. She just didn't say whom and that the friend was Evgeni Malkin. Halfway to the Penguins' locker room, Jackie took of her jersey to reviled the Malkin shirt she was wearing underneath. After she took the jersey off, Jackie shoved the Giroux jersey into her sweatshirt, the real reason she brought it.
Once she got to the Penguins' Locker Room she saw the door was open and a couple players were leaving. She stepped in side and knocked against the wall causing the eyes of the Penguins still in there to turn.
"Um, hi, I'm looking for Evgeni Malkin."
