Me and Morgan take a taxi to Manhattan to do a little shopping while I tell her about my evening with Sidney. My brain is trying to keep up with my mouth as I spill the beans on our time together this past month.

" So," Morgan says. "Are you two dating now?" She links arms with me, maneuvering me through the throng of people in Manhattan.

" No, I guess friends with benefits. I don't know maybe we'll start dating." We only expressed a mutual attraction last night so we're not a thing. We stop at a crosswalk and wait for the sign to switch.

" I hope so because you two are too cute! I could totally see the physical attraction there" She says with a grin.

" Shut up. Thanks. So what's up with you and Jon?" I nudge her when we are about to cross the street again.

" We're good," She says. She stops in front of the NHL store,our favorite store. "Can we go in?" She begs. Morgan starts jumping up and down, yanking on my arm like a child.

"Ok! As long as you stop embarrassing me. You don't even have to ask. Let's go!" I think the NHL is the on earth equivalent of Heaven. I am always in this store even if I don't buy anything.

"Oh about me and Jon," Morgan continues as she grabs a Blackhawks SnapBack. " We're doing well. We went to Winnipeg to visit his family. We have just been hanging out a lot together before camp starts."

" How was Winnipeg?" I ask as I dig through the stack of Pens sherseys. I grab a Malkin shirt since my old one is old and tearing.

"It's so cute over there! His family is absolutely adorable.

"I'm happy you're happy Morgan. Seriously I am." I turn to look at her. She flashes a large smile but her eyes show a twinge of pain. Like me, she also hasn't been lucky in the relationship department. To see her head over heels for someone like Jon, makes me elated. She runs over to me and gives me a hug. "Thanks Sera, that means a lot. I hope you and Sid become a thing so I can tell you the same. Shit, I'm happy for you now! You're all glowy and shit." She pulls back her eyes slightly watery.

"Stop, you're gonna make me cry! Come on let's shop. No tears, we've spent too long crying." I chuckle.

"Ok, well then I'm just gonna buy a bunch of shit today, I'm going through hockey withdrawal" she says grabbing at the Blackhawks merchandise.

" Same here," I say picking up some Pens, Blackhawks stuff. We go pay and leave. We hit up many other stores; Victoria Secrets, the Apple Store, shit like that. We stop for frozen yogurt before we catch a cab to go home.

"It's almost six how come we haven't heard anything from the guys yet?" I ask as Morgan hails a cab. The cab stops and we climb in. I give the driver the address as he pulls out into the street.

" Maybe they haven't made up their minds or they're keeping it a surprise." Morgan suggests.

"I hope so." I check my phone for any texts from the two but there's nothing.

The two of us get to my place around 7:30. I open the door to my place and there's a trail of rolled up tape they use to tape their stick on the floor. We look at each other and follow it to the balcony.

"What the?" Morgan says. The railing has been covered with lights and the table dressed up for four. Table is set and they're sitting diagonally from each other. We immediately drop our bags on the floor in surprise.

" So, what do you think?" Jon asks nervously as he gets out of his chair. Sidney is seated across from him.

" I think," Morgan says as she walks towards him, " It's beautiful." She then proceeds to give him a kiss. "What do you think Sera? You like it?" Sid asks when he gets up. His eyes catch the light and look like they're twinkling, making me catch my breath.

" I think it's gorgeous. This is so beautiful!" I run over and kiss him. " You two are too precious. I can't believe you two came up with this." I say to the boys. Sid and Jon exchange glances.

"Well," Sid drags on. "I may or may not have called my sister for ideas." He admits blushing. I have to kiss him again.

"Stop. Being. So. Damned. Cute. Crosby." I demand between kisses, making him blush harder.

"Though there is one problem." Morgan says. "What?" The boys say in unison.

" Where the hell is the food? Are we gonna eat air?" Morgan responds while the guys laugh.

" No! It's coming." Sid says. Just then, the bell rings.

" Here it is. I'll get it." Sid then leaves my embrace to rush and get the door. " So whose idea was this to do it here?" Morgan asks.

" Well, we were feeling lazy and cheap since you two just threw it on us. So we called Taylor like Sid said and she suggested to just have it here since Sera has a big balcony with a sweet view. We snooped around your house for decorations then ordered food. That's why we didn't call because we didn't want to ruin the surprise." Says Jon as Morgan wraps her small frame around him. He looks down at her and kisses her forehead.

" Awe!" Morgan and I croon. Sid comes back with four large bags with what seems like take out.

"Even though this is totally gonna kill my diet," He says as he starts separating the orders on the table. "It's worth it if it makes the ladies happy. And I remembered what you always order, babe." He grins at me handing me my box of fried rice and chicken with veggies. I clutch at my chest in approval.

Grabbing at the boxes hungrily, we stuff our faces while engaged in light conversation. A little later on, we switch seats to sit next to our man. I decide to test Sid's self control. I know, I know. It's early to start displaying affection but if you had a man like him, you wouldn't be able to take your hands off him either.I put my hand on his right thigh, catching him off guard but he doesn't do anything. Then a minute later I start moving my hand up his thigh slowly. I can feel him tense up a little.

To keep our friends from seeing, he puts his arm around me and pulls me closer. I keep talking while moving my hand toward his pocket. He tenses up some more. In return, he puts his hand up my shirt to touch my tummy lightly. The teasing goes on the rest of the evening. Soon enough the dinner date was over and so was the touching. After cleaning and dismantling the decortaions outside, Sid and I walk Morgan and Jon to the door and say our good nights.

As soon as I close the door and turn to face him, I'm off my feet and slammed against the door. His mouth attacked mine with so much aggression, I had to pull back. Sidney sets me down gently but continues to push his frame against mine, pinning me between him and the door. I feel him getting hard through his jeans pressed up against my pelvis.

" Whoa, what's gotten into you?" I ask smugly. I know what it is but I want him to say it.

"You! Fucking teasing me almost the entire dinner. Now," Sid's hands snake up underneath my shirt. "It's my turn" His voice a growl.

" I'm.... I'm speechless. Go ahead." I whisper. Sid picks me up, wrapping my legs around his waist, carrying me to my room.

It's 6:45 in the morning when I wake up. I'm still wrapped in Sid's strong arms. My room is, well, a mess as it should be. I notice something around my neck. I take it off and it's a gold chain with a tiny 87 and hockey stick also in gold, just like his. I freak out, like I do for everything and wake him up.

" Sid. Sid wake up!" He shuffles around a little. He finally wakes up. His hair is all tousled and his face a little flushed.

"Good morning, love. What's wrong?" He asks. Oh, my poor heart. " Two things now. One; you called me love. You've never called me that and two; what's this?" I say showing him the necklace. He wraps an arm around my waist.

"Oh. That's for you. I had it made a few weeks ago but I was too chicken to give it to you." He fumbles over his words quietly. "I put it on you last night while you were sleeping. It's kind my way of asking you to be my girlfriend." He blushes as he strokes my face.

" Sidney Patrick Crosby. You are... I don't even have words to describe you. Of course I'll be your girlfriend! You nerd and this fucking number." I am shaking all over with excitement. To think that just a month ago I was accepting the single life and getting ready to immerse myself in work. I guess love always strikes at the most unexpecting time.

"It's been really good for me," Sidney says blushing. " And another thing I have to tell you." He says. He props himself on his left elbow and looks me dead in the eyes.

" I love you. I love you, I love you, I love you. I'm not just saying that just because we had sex. I mean it. You're legit all I can think about right now. I want to be with you all the time and when we're not together it sucks. I'm literally supposed to be doing other things but I've ditched them for you because I love being around you. I love everything about you; your personality, your smarts, wit and you care about a lot of things. You have a great heart that I don't want to break. I know it feels fast but it just feels right to me. Please say you love me back," he says with pleading eyes. There was a mix of need and a love in those beautiful light brown eyes.

"You have no clue how long I've been waiting to say I love you, Sidney. I love you Sidney. So much. I'm yours for as long as you want me." The biggest smile comes onto his face that could light up a dark room. Sid lowers his head and kisses me softly then pulls away. While smiling against my lips he says, " I love you Seraphina."

" I love you too, Sidney." He is officially all mine.
