Wasn't Expecting That
Who is she?
The game was currently tied at 1-1 between the Penguins and Rangers at the CONSOL Energy Center. The Penguins had scored the first goal within the first few minutes of the first and shut out the Rangers up until the last three minutes of the second. Both teams shut each other out for the remaining of the third sending this thing into overtime. Although, that didn’t last long because Hayes with the help of Hamelin and St. Louis, scored the game winning goal, sending these Penguins fans home with nothing but sadness and anger written across their faces.
It was officially time for every player’s favorite part the press. As much as they would love to run from them all and go home, it was in their contracts and in order to keeping doing what they loved they had to play by the rules.
Sidney Crosby had just finished up in own interview with some guy who had no idea what he was doing when he ran into his own teammate Kris Letang who obviously had to come from the locker room with his suit on. “How was it?” He asked adjusting his bag strap on his right shoulder.
“Kid had no idea what he was doing. Like he was new. But they wouldn’t send a rookie to interview during the playoffs would they?” Sidney ran a hand over his beard hoping he wouldn’t have to shave it anytime soon.
Letang shook his head and sighed. “Who knows man? The press is getting worse anyway.” Sidney shook his head agreeing when his eye caught sight of Coach Johnston giving an interview obviously to a pretty little thing in purple.
Letang realized Crosby wasn’t listening when he wasn’t laughing with him. “Yo dude what are you- Holy shit.” His eye caught sight of what Crosby saw and he couldn’t believe his eyes.
She was wearing black strappy heels making your eyes follow up the curve of her legs and towards what every man would call a wonderful ass covered in a tight fitting purple dress. And although they couldn’t see the front of her from the way her brown curly hair fell down her back they knew she was gorgeous.
“Dude she squats.” Letang said not taking his eyes off her perfect ass. It was curvy and all he wanted to do was fit his hand perfectly around it and squeeze.
“You think?” Sidney asked taking his eyes off her behind for a second to look at his friend. Sid was skeptical of this hell maybe she was just born with it. Damn did her momma give her everything that was right in the world.
“Yo Sid,” Letang turned around waving the new company down the rest of the hallway, while Sid turned his head to the left trying to get a better look at the view.
“Sunshine, come here for a sec.”
Bennett was already in his suit and had his bag with him as well. He stood between Sid and Kris looking between the two wondering what was going on. Kris turned to him a smirk on his face. “You think she squats? Sid here doesn’t”
Beau turned to where Letang was pointing only to find the same amazing ass that Kris and Sidney did.
“Holy-” His hand turned into a fist biting down on the knuckle of his index finger. He nodded his head not daring to allow his mouth to speak for him. He usually wasn’t like this with women but damn was that woman perfect and he hadn’t even seen her face yet or properly met her.
All three boys realized that she was wrapping up the interview when she was shaking hands with Johnston and quickly made it like they weren’t just standing there starring at her ass. Letang leaned up against the wall, his bag on the floor next to him while Crosby stood next to him looking at him like they were having an in depth convo. Sunshine stood in front of the two shuffling through his bag like he was trying to find something.
None dared to look up until they heard the clicking on heels coming their way. All three heads turned and all three jaws dropped to the floor. She had this round face with plump, lip gloss covered lips, stunning blue eyes that you could see far away and an olive toned skin color that looked like she just came back from somewhere in the Caribbean.
She smiled and waved. “Hi Sunshine, Crosby, Letang. Good game.” Her voice was like silk, smooth and soft. Almost like an angel had just talked to them. Hell, one just did.
She didn’t stop once, just kept on walking. The cameraman smirked and laughed shaking his head and spoke walking past them. “Try working with her.”
They all snapped their heads to the right watching her walk away. “Lucky bastard.” Letang spoke up talking about the cameraman once they were out of the double doors. The two could only nod their heads in agreement.
Their coach came up to the three of them and sighed. “Get home boys.” He said, “Early practice tomorrow morning.”
“Coach,” Beau spoke as their coach was already starting to walk away. He stopped turning around raising an eyebrow at him. “Who was that?” He was hoping he didn’t have to clarify on what he meant.
Coach Johnston shook his head at the boys with a smirk on his face knowing exactly what was going through their heads. Heck he was a twenty–year-old boy once with needs. He started walking away but not before calling out “Tune into ESPN tonight and you’ll find out.”
And that’s exactly what the three boys did. Of course they were almost asleep at the time, having it recording just in case they did miss it but when she came on they all jumped up from their seats on the couch in their own respective homes/apartments. Her smiling face was plastered on the television in high definition in Letang’s condo. He called Crosby hoping he was awake. Sidney didn’t even get a chance to say ‘Hi’ when Letang spoke. “Take back everything that I said about the press, as long as she’s interviewing me, I’ll do interviews all day, any time, twenty four seven if I have to.”
Sidney chuckled but realized that what he said was true. As long she was interviewing him he would be okay with it. Why haven’t they ever seen her before though? “Dude why haven’t we seen her before?”
Kris ran a hand across his face feeling the blood rush all to one part of his body just from seeing her on his television. He’s shocked he kept so much self-control in a public or did he? Shit. He couldn’t remember. That was never a good thing especially if the press caught.
“Dude I have no idea what the hell is her name though?” Kris asked hoping he hasn’t missed the name of the angel he met today and was starring at him through his screen.
“I don’t think they said did they?” They both had the same thoughts on their minds even though they would never voice them out loud. The second they found out her name Instagram, Twitter, Facebook anything she had would have two more friends/followers added to her list.
Kris got up to grab a beer leaving Sid on speaker. His phone rang letting him know that he had a new message. He opened his beer throwing the cap into the sink walking to behind his couch starring at the screen knowing he would have to do something about this hard-on soon, very soon.
“Yo Beau just sent us a group message. It’s some chick’s name. He said she just added me on Insta. Hold on let Google her.” A few seconds later his angel as he now liked to call her turned towards the screen still rocking that smile on her perfectly glossed lips listing the expectations of what the they had to do to win the next couple of games. He listened knowing he would play his heart out for her.
“Well I’m Lacy McGovern from the CONSOL Energy Center in the Burg sending it back to you Barry.”
“Her names Lacy.” Sid and Kris said both at the same time completely shocked. “She added Beau on Insta.” Sid said repeating himself knowing that Letang didn’t hear him the first time.
“No,” Kris sighed dropping himself on the coach. “Dammit Sunshine, this is so unfair. It should be me she gets in bed with.”
“Look dude,’ Sid said looing over the clock on his Television box. “It’s two in the morning, get some rest we have an early practice.”
“Yes captain,” He mocked saluted even though the captain himself couldn’t see him.
Both men went to bed dreaming of that perfectly curved that ass that they saw today.
