"The photographer will be here any moment" I call to my husband Connor McDavid, who was taking forever to get ready, as always.
This photo shoot is a big thing because it would be our first one since the newest edition to our family Kendall Danielle was born. Connor and I had already had 3 kids before Kendall. First a boy whose 7 now, named Ryan Cooper, then a girl whose 5, Allison Marie, then another girl Lilia Rachel who is 3 .
I'm quite sure that Connor wanted another boy but he loves his girls. He had Kendall wrapped around his finger the moment she was born though.
"I'm almost ready (Y/N), did you get all the kids ready" Connor says.
"Yes we're just waiting on you, as always" I say.
"That's mean (Y/N), and I'm done now" Connor says.
"You look handsome" I say to Connor as he walks down wearing the suit that I had got him for the picture.
"And you look beautiful, as always" He says wrapping his arms around me than planting a kiss on my head. Then the doorbell rings.
"That'll be the photographer" I say walking over to the door.
I open the door and greet the photographer.
"Hi I'm (Y/N) McDavid, and that's my husband Connor" I say to the photographer.
"I'm Jacqueline Torsark for people magazine" The photographer says.
"Well come on in and meet the rest of the family" I say as Jacqueline enters the house and follows me to the living room in which the kids are in.
"That's Ryan, that's Allison, that's Lilia, and Connor has Kendall. Kids this Jacqueline and she's going to be taking our picture" I tell the kids.
"Hi Jacqueline" The three older kids say.
"Hello" Jacqueline says.
"Well let's get going" I say.

"Ryan lean in closer to your mum and Lilia look into the camera" Jacqueline directs and the kids do.
"Okay now big smiles" She says and we all follow.
"And one more and then were done" Jacqueline says and snaps the last picture.
"Okay we're done" Jacqueline says.
The kids run of into the other room to play with their toys that they were playing with before Jacqueline had got here.
"When should the magazine be out?" Connor asks Jacqueline.
"In a couple of weeks it'll take some time to edit the pictures, but we can send you a copy of it once it's out" Jacqueline says.
"That would be great" I say.
"Okay then I'll tell the publisher to send one here" Jacqueline says walking towards the door.
"Okay, thank you so much" I say.
"No problem, you have a lovely family" She says walking out the door.
"Bye" Connor and I say as we wave goodbye, and Jacqueline returns the wave before getting into her car and leaving.
"That was fun" I say.
"No not really, I had to make sure I didn't drop Kendall by the way that I was holding her" Connor says.
"I'm glad you didn't drop her, but we have to get to Ryan and Allison's hockey games" I say.
"Right, I'll go get them all ready, you just worry about Kendall" Connor says handing me Kendall than walking off the get Ryan and Allison ready for their hockey games.

"You get all you stuff?" I ask Ryan and Allison.
"Yes" They both say.
"Stick, skates, helmet, pads-" I start listing but I'm cut off by Connor.
"We double checked, we got everything" He says carrying the hockey bags on his shoulders.
"Okay, now McDavid crew roll out!" I say imitating Optimus Prime from 'Transformers' since the kids love transformers.
Ryan and Allison sit in the backseats and buckle them selves in while, Connor buckles in Lilia and I try to attach Kendall's carrier to the car seat.
Once Connor finishes buckling in Lilia he comes over to me.
"Here let me do that" Connor says.
"You sure?" I say.
"(Y/N), I'm a professional hockey player I can attach a car seat'" Connor says cockily.
"Fine" I say as I get into the front seat of the car. After Connor got the carrier attach to the seat he comes into the driver's seat.
"You ready kids" He says.
"Yes, daddy! We want to go play hockey!" Allison says.
"That's good Alli, Ryan are you excited to play hockey?" Connor says.
"Yeah, I can't wait to show Jacob my new move" Ryan says.
"What's your new move?" I ask.
"You have to wait and see" Ryan says.
"Mommy! Daddy! Mommy! Daddy!" Lilia shrieks.
"What is it Lily-Bily" Connor says to Lilia calling here by the nickname he gave her when she was a baby.
"I want to play hockey too!" She says.
"In a few years sweetie" I say.
"Why?" Lilia says.
"Cause you not old enough yet and we still need to teach you how to skate". I tell her.
"When can you teach me to skate" Lilia says.
"Soon, Lily-Bily" Connor says.
"Okay daddy" Lilia says.

After a while we finally arrive at the arena, it wasn't that bad if a drive compared to others we had it was mostly silence expect for Ryan and Allison talking in the back. Connor gets out first to get Kendall's carrier and I go over to help Lilia unbuckle. Once Lily is out Ryan and Allison come out and they go over and get their hockey bags out.
"You guys get everything?" I ask.
"Yes Mommy" They both say.
The six of us walk into the arena and exchange a few hellos with people and I take Kendall from Connor so he can meet with some fans that come along. I walk with the four kids down to the locker room so they can get all their stuff on.
"Can you tie your skates yourselves or do you need help?" I ask Ryan and Allison.
"I'm good mom" Ryan says as he gets his skates out.
"Me too" Allison says.
"Where's Daddy!" Lilia says.
"He's just talking with some fans" I say.
"Why is he talking to fans, fans are meant to kept you all cool when it's hot out" Lilia says.
"No not fans like that, hockey fans that like him as a player that look up to him" I say.
"Well I'm daddy's fan too, I'm his biggest fan!" Lilia says.
"Hey guys look who I found" Connor says coming inside the locker room being followed by none other than Dylan Strome his old buddy from his Erie Otters days.
"Uncle Dylan!" Lilia says run towards him.
"Hey Lils, how are you" He says.
"Happy!" She says.
"Happy! that's good" Dylan says.
"Hey Uncle Dyl, where's Jake?" Ryan asks wondering where Dylan son Jacob is.
"He's just outside with his mom and siblings" Dylan says while holding Lilia. With hearing the news Ryan walks out the door to go find Jacob.
"Hey Dylan, How's the family been?" I ask him.
"All good, Kaylee just got a job promotion, and Jake is doing well with his hockey, and Paige is doing well in school and she wants to start hockey, what about you guys" Dylan says.
"Good, I'm still on mat. leave for work so I've been stuck at home for awhile, Ryan's loving hockey, Alli's having fun too, Lily wants to start and Kendall she's been doing much better since we took her home from the hospital" I say.
"Lils you want to start playing hockey?" Dylan asks Lila.
Lilia nods her head and smiles.
"Alli you done with your skates?" I ask.
"Yeah, let's go" Allison says.
The rest of us that are left in the locker room walk out into the rest of arena.
"Kaylee" I say hugging the pretty blonde.
"(Y/N)" She says returning the hug.
"Okay guys lets go find some seats" Connor says making his way over to the stands while carrying Kendall's carrier.
"Alli stay with Ryan and Jake, okay" I tell Allison.
"Okay" She says and goes to catch up with the two older boys when I go over to the seats that Connor and Dylan found us.
"Hey gorgeous" Connor says as I sit down.
"Hi Handsome" I say as I lean my head onto his shoulder.
"Where's Lily?" I ask.
"Dylan's got her" Connor says.
"And Kendall?" I ask.
"Kaylee wanted to hold her" He says.
"Why are you being so nice right know?" I ask.
"Aren't I always nice?" He says.
"Yes but you've been extra nice recently, and I'm the one with all the time off I should be doing everything not you" I say.
"Well you need to take it easy after all you are pregnant" Connor says.
"Pregnant? Where'd you hear that?" I lift up my head to look at him and ask.
"You've already been pregnant 4 times, I can tell when your pregnant, and you are" Connor says.
"That explains why all my jeans don't fit anymore, I'm pregnant again, not getting fat" I say.
"Even if you were getting fat, I'd still love you" Connor says kissing my forehead.
"And I'd love you too" I say kissing his lips.
"And nothing will ever make me stop loving you". He says.
