Tom's POV
"She's been acting differently the past few days" I said to Mike on our way to practice "Because she said yes to marry your ugly ass" he said "Weddings are stressful maybe she's stressed out" "Yeah maybe. I just wish that she would tell me" "It's been getting darker out earlier, maybe she has SAD" "I don't really remember her having that when we were younger" "Cause you were too in love without telling her and focusing on hockey" he said as we got into the building. And a few hours later, we were going back to the apartment. DC was starting to feel like home, I'm not sure if that's because I was getting used to it or if that's because Maggie's here. I mean, Canada will always be home to me. Mike was playing ping pong and I was watching TV when Maggie came home. "Hey, gorgeous" "Hey, baby. Hey Mike" "Hi Mags" he said and I glared at him "that's my nickname for her" I said protectively and snaked my arm around her when she sat down after taking off her shoes. "Tom I need to tell you something" she said and pulled on my arm until we got into our room.
Maggie's POV
When I woke up this morning, I raced to the washroom to go throw up. It's been a while since I threw up last, since I really don't drink that much. I knew something was wrong. I called my doctor and made an appoitment a little after I got off of work. "What seems to be wrong, Maggie" "I threw up this morning and I haven't been feeling myself the last few days. I'm not sure if I'm depressed due to the weather or if I'm sick." "I'll take a look" she said and handed me a cup and told me where the washroom was. I got a call a little bit later and I'm pregnant. Oh my god. I'm pregnant. "Here's some OGBYN doctors and I suggest you making an appointment right away" "Thanks" I said and I drove home. I entered in through the kitchen and heard Mike playing ping pong. "Hey, gorgeous" Tom said "Hey, baby. Hey Mike" "Hi Mags" Mike said as I got into the living room and Tom glared at him saying "that's my nickname for her" he said protectively as he snaked his arm around me when I sat down to take off my heels. "Tom I need to tell you something" I told him and pulled on his arm until we got into our room.
