Alexia’s POV

"Why am I not allowed to come with you , huh ? I could take your friend Selena as my date. She’s hot.." Chace said , mumbling the last part as he was driving me to the High School , where the party is located. I snapped back to reality and looked at him , rolling my eyes in annoyance "Boy , if you ever say something about my best friend , I’ll cut you. Got it ?".
I was honestly even starting to ask myself why I was attending this damn thing myself. Somehow , it was really nerve wrecking for me to see everyone after such a long time.

" Chace calling earth. Hey , Lexi ! We’re here » my brother said , nudging my side. I slowly looked out from the window , playing with my fingers nervously. I felt his hand on my shoulder , making me look at him with a faint smile. "You look stunning sis..so relax and go have a blast with your friends , alright ?" he smiled and quickly made his way to my side of the car , opening the door before helping me out.

Alexia’s POV

" Alexia ? Lexi is that you ? ".
I quickly looked up and my smile immediately grew on my lips , rushing to my best friends that seemed to be waiting for me outside. Those girls were my everything and still are , even though we can't see each other as often as we would before. Turning around , I waved off at Chace that was obviously checking out every single girl passing by. "Go home , kiddo ! " I winked at him and made my way inside with the girls.

Wow. The place was totally transformed for the night and it looked fantastic. Small lights like caterpillar , waiters with glasses of champagne , smooth jazz music ; everything was looking almost surreal and magical.

"Talking about magical and surreal... look who made it to the party , Lex " Cara mumbled , making us all look towards the entrance. There he was - everyone's high school crush , I present you mister Carey Price. A little history about Carey and I : We dated during the 2 last years of high school as well as in college , before deciding to end it once he started getting busy with hockey and me with my modelling career. "Oh lord , please don't make him look over here...." I said , looking away from his direction while sipping on my champagne glass , trying to look busy. "Too late , he's coming towards us..".
