“He did what?!” Danielle practically yelled out in the library “Have you told Sean about it?” she asked in a more hushed toned after receiving ‘shh’s’ and glares from those around her. Walking back over towards the table with a new book in my hand taking a seat next to her looking from the book to my laptop screen. “Yes and yes, Sean was fine with it as long as Mark didn’t do anything else, which he didn’t.” I replied looking up at her pushing my glasses to the top of my head rubbing my eyes. “Enough about my love life, we have to get this project done.” I finished getting to work on the last part of the project.
As we walked out of the library I saw someone standing by my car “Is that who I think it is?” Dani asked as we walked through the cold air pulling our coats tighter around getting closer to the car “Sean? No, he supposed to be on the road.” I answered as we approached I saw the figure of my brother pacing in front of my car “Harry?” I called out.
He looked up from his phone sighing “Where have you been Ive tried ringing you all morning?” he questioned. I looked up at him confused “You have? Harry I haven’t heard my phone all day...” I replied bringing out my phone seeing it had been turned off and turning it on it started to ping with message after message and missed calls from Harry, Mom, Dad, and Mike “Shit Im sorry Harry I had my phone off we had to finish a big project for our Senior Sem class.” I explained pushing my hair out of my face. He nodded “Its fine but we thought you’d like to know your niece is here.” He calmed me down accepting my apology.
“I missed it?! AGH! I knew this would happen I get busy doing something for school and end up missing something important for you!” I exaggerate opening my car waving to Dani who had said her goodbyes and congratulated Harry on the baby. “Hey its fine you were there for the twins, so your fine but lets go I had dad drop me off after we ran into Mike at the café.” He stated. Getting into my car we drove off to the hospital.

Walking down the hall towards Erin’s room my phone started going off rushing to pick it up I answered in a hushed tone “Hello? Maxine Walker’s phone.” Hearing a laugh coming from the other end I knew it was someone from the team “Hey Maxie, its G, Sean gave me and some of the other guys your number.” Claude spoke over the phone “He did, did he?” I asked now standing outside of my sister-in-law’s room “Well it was more we took it without permission, also I gave your number to my girlfriend Ryanne she should be texting you soon about getting together.” He joked laughing a bit more. “Alright well then good to know most of you have my number, I guess, uh I’ll keep an eye out for her text, but I have to go Im at the hospital tell Sean I’ll talk to him later.” I answered hurriedly hanging up and walking in to Erins room.
“Shes so cute Erin.” I complimented the sleeping baby in my arms “Yes my little Darcy you are so beautiful.” I said again this time in a whisper looking down towards the baby in my arms. Seeing a flash go off I looked up to see Harry taking a picture on my phone before placing it back down on the table.
“So hows life?” Erin questioned taking Darcy back cradling her in her arms. “Well senior year is finally kicking my ass... crap butt sorry.” I replied slumping back into my chair pushing hair out of my face.
“Eh its fine Harry already cursed in front of her not even five minutes into her being in this world.” she recalled laughing a bit stroking the baby hair on Darcys head. “So anything else?” she asked obviously wanting to know about Sean and my love life.
I sighed smiling “Seans good hes on the road right now, we’re official too!” I finished with a smile on my face. Hearing this Erin looked up with a smile on her face, “Well then, that just means that we are going to have to have dinner with the lucky guy.” She confessed jokingly.
“Who are we having dinner with?” Harry asked coming in from taking a call, “Maxies hockey boyfriend!” Erin cheered putting Darcy in her hospital bassinet before sitting back in the bed. “Oh Sean asked did he, mom and dad know?” he pestered walking over to us stopping at the coffee table when my phone started ringing.
“Yes and yes, whos ringing me now?” I replied out stretching my hand waiting for Harry to give it to me. “Ohh its lover boy himself!” Harry said picking up my phone looking at the caller id. “Harry come on give it here!” I scolded going to stand up. “Hello? Yes this is her phone my I ask who’s calling?” Harry answered the call “Well Im Harry and I know who you are Mr. Couturier!” He laughed into the phone as I jumped trying to reach for the phone that was now in the air “Harold Michael give me the phone!” I said in a low strong tone. “Yeah shes jumping for it. I know its funny watching her try to reach for things in high places. Well Sean until we meet again the midget wants her phone.” He whined into the phone before handing it over to me.
Walking out of the room and taking a seat out in the hall I let out a sigh “Hey handsome.” I greeted, hearing him chuckle from the other end “Hey, beautiful. Why are you at the hospital everything okay?” he asked with a concerned tone. “Im fine, I have new niece to spoil. Are you guys just getting on to the plane?” I asked hearing some of the guys in the background. “Yeah, but I just wanted to call and see what was going on. So, how about when I get back I take you out for dinner?” he asked sighing through the phone. “Yeah that sounds great.” I agreed nodding “Alright I’m gonna let you go I see you when youre back.” I said goodbye before hanging up and standing to walk back in to Erin’s room.
