Tyler Seguin One-Shots

“Calm down.”
“I am calm.”
Tyler sent you a disbelieving look as he casually drove with one hand over the steering wheel and the other one on the gear stick, your hand sandwiched in between. “You’re shaking like crazy,” he retorted.
“Eyes on the road, mister!”
He rolled his eyes, but did as told with a snort. “Everyone’s gonna love you.”
“I’m not worried.”
“I love you,” he continued, lifting your hand and giving the top of it a kiss. “And, since everyone believes you’re God for making me settle down, they’ll worship the ground you walk on.”
You managed to laugh, but not as much as you usually would, seeing as how you couldn’t stop the panic attack from within.
It seemed like an eternal trip through Hell when the Jeep finally pulled up to a comfy-looking, two-story house.
“My parents are going to eat you up and spit you out.”
You gasped and smacked Tyler’s arm while he laughed and cowered away from your hits.
“I’m just kidding, Y/N,” he said, snatching a kiss from your lips before you could pull away. “They’re going to love you. Seriously, stop with the jitters.”
You reluctantly exited the car when Tyler did. “I can do this,” you mumbled to yourself, but despite your attempts at comforting yourself, you cowered behind Tyler, who just kept teasing you.
The moment Tyler rang the doorbell, the door was thrown open and you found yourself in the arms of a blonde haired woman.
“Here she is!” exclaimed Jackie Seguin. She pulled away, grinning like a Cheshire Cat at you, as she blatantly checked you out. “I can’t believe this is Y/N.” You felt your stomach drop until she looked over at Tyler and asked, “How in the world did you get one of these? Is she stupid?”
You laughed, finding yourself physically calming down at the kind-heartedness that was Tyler’s mom. You allowed her to take you inside and introduce you to the rest of the family, who were all more than accepting of your presence. They were actually – surprisingly – thrilled that Tyler didn’t bring some random Hooter’s chick or prostitute like he supposedly did one time (in an attempt to get his family off his back about not having a proper girlfriend).
“C’mon, Y/N!” Cassidy exclaimed, grabbing your hand and pulling you away from her mom. “Wanna see some embarrassing baby pics of Ty?”
Your eyes widened and you grinned at the sound of possible blackmail you could use against Tyler. Even though he was the celebrity, there wasn’t much to blackmail him with that wasn’t already released into the public – and he somehow managed to have a bunch of blackmail on you (probably from that one time you both visited your mom when she was sick).
“Of course,” you said, but before you could take a step, a pair of arms wrapped around your waist and you were pulled back into a hard chest.
“No, you don’t,” Tyler mumbled in your ear then louder to his sister, “No, she doesn’t.”
You and Cassidy shared a look then, by the end of the night, Tyler was red from ear-to-ear while he had to force you out of his parents’ house.
“Thanks for inviting us!” you managed to say through laughter while Cassidy was hunched in the corner of the hall, almost doubled in the floor laughing.
“Come again!” Jackie responded, grinning from ear-to-ear, clearly struggling in keeping her laughter down.
As you two approached the Jeep, Tyler wrapped his arm around your shoulders and rested his burning cheek on top of your head. “I’m never bringing you over again,” he declared while you smiled and pulled away to slip into his car.
“I had a good time,” you said once you were both seated and he started driving.
He pursed his lips at you then looked back at the road and huffed. “Too good of a good time.”
Your phone buzzed in your hand. When you opened the text, a wide grin spread across your lips.
“What’s that?”
“Just a meme Jamie sent me,” you lied, shutting off your phone – but not without setting your background as the picture Cassidy sent you of a naked baby Tyler in the bath.
