I wake up the next morning and sneak to the bathroom. I throw up a few times before I feel okay enough to shower. I shower and walk out of into the room in search of my clothes. I see Sidney sit up and I kiss his cheek.
“You know if I could, I would keep you in this room forever,” I say nipping at his ear.

“I’d probably develop Stockholm syndrome which seems fitting considering we’re in Stockholm,” he laughs. I smile and get up and start getting dressed. “If you threw up, does that mean you lost?” he asks confused.

“I only lose if he doesn’t throw up at all.” I remind him. “Breakfast at my house?” Sidney nods and we get ready and head out.

We walk in the door and everyone is around the table already.
“There you guy’s are. Nix just texted me saying that you guy’s left and that was it,” Bobbie says in Swedish.

“English! And we got a room.” I reply

“Bow chicka wow wow,” he sings.

“Did you throw up last night?” Carl asks.

“No but I did this morning,” I say honestly.

“I win. Pay up.”

“No he didn’t. He was puking this morning too,” Natalia adds.

“Looks like we both lost. Draw.” I say shrugging.

“You’re both so gross,” Natalia says shaking her head.

“Did you see that chick I was dancing with last night?” Bobbie asks. I nod and his smile gets wider. “Totally hit that last night. Carl and Natalia did it and you and Sidney clearly did it which means the Hagelin Trifecta is back. High five!” Bobbie exclaims. Me and Carl high five him laughing.

We spent the rest of the trip visiting and I had a couple photo-shoots and interviews to do. I spent the rest of the time showing Sidney my old schools, my old hang out spots, my favourite museum and my favourite park to walk around.

We flew back home to Pittsburgh to plan the wedding. All the invites had already been sent out and I had asked Natalia, Taylor, Anna and Vero to be bridesmaids and they had all accepted. I had bought a beautiful wedding dress and all the catering and food was dealt with. I was so thankful to have Natalia plan this wedding. It’s not that I didn’t care about my wedding; I just cared about the big picture, not the little details.
“Your bridesmaids all have their dresses, Sidney’s groomsmen all have their tux’s. You’re parents and Bobbie’s flight are booked. Everything is falling into place nicely,” she notifies me.

“What would I do without you?” I ask her.

“I have no idea. It’s a scary thought,” she laughs. “But there is one thing I can’t do for you and that’s your vows.” I had totally forgot about my vows. I still had a little bit of time before the wedding and writing about how much I loved Sidney would be easy. I was starting to get impatient. I just wanted to be married to Sidney already but I knew how much this wedding meant to him and our friends and family.
I drop Natalia off at Carl’s and head home to pack for Nova Scotia. The wedding was in four days and I still had to go down there and make sure everything’s ready. It was weird to think that the next time I’ll be in Pittsburgh, I’ll be married. I look at the engagement ring on my finger and I’m so excited for this journey Sidney and I are about to embark on. I hear Sidney come up the stairs and I finishing zipping up my suitcase.
“You ready?” he asks. I nod and he takes my suitcase downstairs. We load our luggage into a cab and head for the airport.

“What’s on your mind?” he asks, his thumb drawing circles on my thigh.

“It’s all just starting feel very real,” I reply.

“You’re not getting cold feet are you?”

“Never. Sidney I can’t wait to be married to you.” He smiles and kisses my forehead and starts to tell me about Cole Harbour.
