Russian Roulette
15: What to expect
It was New Year’s Eve and I got work off so I could go to Kris and Catherine’s party. I got into the shower and turned the water on. Five minutes later I hear the door open and I turn around to find Geno towering over me.
“Oh hey,” I say casually. He shuts the shower door and leans down to kiss me. I pull myself closer to his body and I feel his erection growing on my hip. He spins me around so I’m pressed up against the glass. He enters me swiftly and I gasp. He starts thrusting and I throw my head back and he plants wet kisses along my neck and shoulder. His hands reach forward and he pinches my nipples with his fingers. The pain adds to my overall pleasure and I feel myself climbing. He reaches down and starts rubbing my clit. I moan his name and he bites my neck. A few minutes later I come loudly and contract around him. He growls into my hair and I feel him twitch and spasm behind me. He pulls out and I turn around to face him. He has a lazy smile on his face. I grab the shampoo and wash both our hair. I repeat with the conditioner and then I grab the body wash and put it on a loofah. I follow every line and muscle on his torso and lightly trace the skin of his lower abdomen. I see him getting erect again so I take my hand and start stroking him. He closes his eyes and I continue to pump my hand. I pick up the pace and a few minutes later he ejaculates into my hand.
"I love,” he says smiling. I finish washing us off and we get out of the shower and get ready.
We arrive at Kris and Catherine’s and say hello to everyone. I find Audrina and quickly catch up with her.
“That dress looks way better on you than it does on me,” she says smiling. I was wearing a short black dress with a mesh v in the middle. James comes up and wraps his arm around Audrina. They had officially started dating and Audrina was more than excited about it.
“You guys look great,” I tell them. We mingle for a bit but I wasn’t really in the party mood. Once midnight had passed I told Geno I wanted to stop at the hospital. He drove and as soon we get there I head up to Lyla’s room. She looks shocked to see me but I sit down anyway.
“Happy New Year,” I say smiling.
“Isn’t there a party you should be at?” she asks.
“I was at one but I wasn’t feeling it.”
“So you came to hang out with the grieving girl who can’t walk?”
“Yes.”
“You look really pretty.”
“Thank-you. So it looks like you’ll be going home soon.”
“My aunt finally got cell service and is flying back to take care of me. Once I can walk I’ll have to clean out Derek’s apartment and sell it.”
“Well it’ll be awhile before you can walk so you still have time to keep it. You’re allowed to grieve for as long as you need to,” I tell her.
“I just wanted to say thanks. I know you have a life but it means a lot that you’ve been here these past couple weeks.”
“Of course. I know what it’s like to be alone.” She looks past me and Geno is standing in the doorway.
“Sorry I not rush,” he says awkwardly.
“Lyla this is Geno. Geno this is Lyla,” I say to both of them. Geno shakes Lyla’s hand she looks taken back.
“This is him? You’re dating Evgeni Malkin?” she says shocked. I nod and she shakes her head.
“Way to go Doc.” I smile and tell Lyla goodbye and head to the car with Geno.
“I love,” he says while driving.
“I love you too,” I reply.
“I want you to live with me,” he says out of the blue. I’m taken aback by his words and I turn to look at him.
“Are you serious?” I ask.
“Da. Is soon I know. I love and I want to see everyday.” It was soon. We had only been dating a few months but Geno wasn’t just any boyfriend. I loved him and that said it all.
“Da Zhenya. I’ll move in with you,” I say smiling. We pull up to a red light and he kisses me. I was both excited and nervous to live with Geno. I had never lived with a boy before but I also spent most of my time at the hospital so it probably wouldn’t be a huge change. What about Audrina? Would she be mad that I’m leaving? I decide I’ll tell her tomorrow and enjoy the rest of the night with Geno.
I walk in the door the next day and the place is spotless.
“Audrina I’m home!” I call out.
“Finally,” she says smiling.
“I need to talk to you,” I say hesitantly. We sit on the couch and she looks concerned.
“Geno asked me to move in with him and I said yes. But then I realized I should probably talk to you before making any decisions.”
“Quinn this is so great!” she exclaims.
“It is?”
“Yes. You’re in a healthy adult relationship that’s moving forward. This is a big deal.” She was right, it was a big deal.
“What if I don’t like living with a boy?”
“You’re a slob and you can’t cook. I’m pretty sure you’ll be the boy in the relationship,” she laughs.
“Won’t you be lonely?” I ask.
“I have James. Plus I’m lonely when you live here. You’re always at the hospital.”
I shake my head and we spend our last night together eating Chinese Food and watching Grey’s Anatomy.
Ever since moving in with Geno we were having sex non-stop and I wasn’t complaining. I loved living with him and I was happy were in the blissed out obsessed with each other phase of our relationship.
I limp to the table in the cafeteria where Matt and Elias are sitting eating lunch.
“Why are you limping?” Matt asks.
“I have a sex injury if you really want to know,” I say scowling.
“Man I wish. It’ s been like two weeks since I’ve slept with anyone,” Elias says frowning. Our pagers go off and we ditch our trays and find Dr. Hunter. I had been feeling off all day but it was starting to get worse. We find Dr. Hunter at the nurse’s station and a wave of nausea hits me. Before I can stop it, I bend over and throw up all over the floor.
“You’re so pregnant dude,” Elias says smiling.
