Move Over

Alek's eyes fluttered open, momentarily blinded by the light of the white room. She whimpered, her head was spinning and she couldn't focus for a second. She knew she had a concussion, the symptoms were there. Dizziness, Nausea, slurring voice, blackouts, and most of all, a SPLITTING headache.

"Well, look who's up" Seguin's voice broke the peaceful silence, and she flinched away from the sudden burst of noise

"Not so loud" she breathed, Seguin apologized and gazed at her lovingly. If Tuukka didn't get to her first, he would of made her his girlfriend a long time ago.

"Doctor," he greeted in a whisper as the middle aged doctor walked in. Alek refused to open her eyes as the light in the hospital room was too bright for her sensitive eyes.

"Well, she has a concussion, nothing serious like she had before. But, she'll be in and out of it for the next few days," He paused, reading the worried expression that lit up Tyler's features.

"She should be back on the ice in a week or so"

Tyler nodded and turned back to Alek. Kane was going to pay, he better be scared because, no guy hits Tyler's girl and gets away with it. Well....She wasn't his girl, yet. Tuukka and Nathan rushed in, asking different questions to her but, she was out.

"What wrong with her?" Tuukka asked and she moaned. She brought her finger to her lips and shushed them.

"She's still a little sensitive but, she should be good in a week or so" He told them in only a whisper. If she could find her voice, she'd thank him. She heard Tuukka sigh and sit in the chair beside her bed.

Tyler took this opportunity to ask him about their 'friendship', "So what's with you and Alek?" Tyler asked, faked interest in his voice. He didn't really care if Rask had a thing for her, he just wanted to know if they were dating.

"We made out a few times, that's it" he stated and Tyler's jaw clenched.

That was a lie though, Tuukka was in love with her and he knew it. He couldn't let Tyler get her first like all the other girls he'd had a thing for. He would break her heart and stomp on it once he got bored. He got bored easily.

"Oh." It was Nathan, he sensed the tension between them. She was bad news, he knew that. Tuukka and Tyler have a thing for her and she had no clue. Well, maybe she knew about Tuukka, but, she was oblivious to Tyler.

"Yeah, oh" Tyler gritted, glaring at Tuukka.

Why'd he get to kiss her?
