Sight

The slightest humming sound woke Addy up, her orbs blinking as she saw the distorted glass from the warning puck Kalani shot. She got out of her compartment quietly, without anyone knowing, as she saw something through the glass windows of the train. Something smoking, giving off not as many sparks.

Addy aimlessly walked outside, closer and closer to the foreign object, before Jamie woke up and ran to the back of the cart, the outside part, and said "Addy, get back!"

Sandy hair, a perfect build, and deep eyes. Addy knew this face. She could recognize it for miles. And this face, seemed to land here in a little space pod of his own.

Still a sleepy blur, Addy ran over and lept into Brandon Carlo's arms.

Am I dreaming?

"Brandon?" Exhausted from traveling and still hot to the touch, Brandon, in his leather jacket and floods, realized he had found her.

"Addy..." He held Addy for a second as he looked down on her, breathless. His muscular arms ran up and down her shoulders, amazed.

"You're real. I just, crashed here. My pod, I was trying to go to the-"

"United Center." Addy nodded as Carlo huffed.

"Us too, but like this isn't really our land and we need help. But I can't believe you're here."

Addy squeezed Brandon a little tighter. Addy felt like this was so familiar.

"The boys are in there, sleeping. They'll be happy to see you." Addy gushed, honest and normal like she would always talk.

"Let your pod burn a little. We can show them later." Pointing towards the compartment, she saw 3 faces talking to each other.

She went in, with Carlo, and Tyler had his hands on his hips. Everyone was awake, not that awake, as Addy spoke up.

"Everyone, this, is Brandon. Brandon, meet everyone. He's a Bruins prospect and he crashed here by pod."

Brandon smiled modestly. "And she used to be my girlfriend."

Addy glared, her cheeks flushing a deeper red. "What? Umm, I forget. Until we broke up" she mumbled.

I don't think we ever dated.

Patrice, Tuukka, and Brad explained the situation to Carlo as Addy walked over to Tyler, Jamie, and Jordie.

"This mission is more about how many lovers you have over your sister. What ever happened to getting her?" Tyler said, pissed, grabbing Addy's hand and looking into her eyes deeply.

"Shhh. Stop. Let go!" Addy had a crestfallen look on her face.

"I'm sorry he landed here. Tyler, you know how much I love you. I can't go back to him. I can't. We have to move forward, and find Alexa!"

Go back to him? That sounded so strange.

Everyone else was silent on the last word, as nods approached.

"We leave tomorrow at 5." Jordie said.
