Sight

As the infamous Brad Marchand and Milan Lucic swaggered out of the Garden, with Alexa between them, Addy clenched her teeth, trying to hide. Bergeron pulled his car up for the players. Addy didn't really tell her sister she was here. Tyler knew the ins and outs of this; he snuck Addy into the last row of Bergy's car, and Tyler forced Addy to duck down. Marchy, Alexa, and Lucic took the second row. Looch and his equipment took the first, Bergeron driving. They drove back to the house in silence, but in the dark Addy couldn't help but reaching out for Tyler's hand. Tyler grasped it back and Addy had a tiny grin on her face. Comfort. The blonde had sort of a secret bond with one of the most youngest gems in hockey. Before they knew it, they were back at the familiar penthouse shared by the hockey players. Brad belted a joke. "Welcome to our crib, Lex." Milan nudged his head towards Alexa, signifying that he wanted to say hi. "You can leave your bag here." Patrice said.
"Alexa, you do so much work for us. Just relax tonight, ok?" Seguin called from the backseat.
"I dunno." Alexa got out of the car, helped by Brad.
The three older boys and Alexa went inside, but Tyler stayed in the car with Addy until they got settled. "Tonight's gonna be wild." He helped Addy regain her balance as going first, he snuck her inside. The fridge door was open, the music was cranked, TV was turned on, and the house was rocking. They invited Tuukka and McQuaid over too, which was the cherry on top of the sundae. The NHL channel was on in the living room, Bergeron sitting down with no drink, quietly watching it. Brad, Milan and Tuukka were in the kitchen, and Alexa followed wherever Brad went.
"Hey you." He held Alexa's waist and placed her onto the kitchen island. Marchy was wasted already. Alexa bent down and nuzzled him passionately, as Brad kissed her. Milan laughed up a storm and Tuukka pretended to barf. "Get it Marchy!"
Adam and Tyler were dancing in the basement, with beers for some reason? Because that's how Bruins behave in offseason. Dancing after losing a Stanley Cup could be good coping skills. McQuaid went upstairs because he needed to use the bathroom. And Addy was witnessing all of this.
"Why aren't you joining the party upstairs?" Addy sighed, trying to find his eyes.
"The real question is, why aren't you upstairs joining the party?" Tyler giggled softly.
"Alexa doesn't know I'm here, dumbass. And everyone knows you're here. So you should have fun with your friends. Because, that's what Bruins do. And I'm just the shadow. And I'm lame. And my sister is just pretty good at telling the camera what happened and when it happened with your team." Tyler walked over to sit on the basement steps.
"You know what? I'm going upstairs." Addy teased, ready to step over Tyler, when she felt him push her playfully. Tyler put his beer bottle in her hand and Addy took a careful swig. She craved more. But she had to keep her composure. Addy took Tyler's hand and walked upstairs with him. She opened the basement door and looked around the wide kitchen that connected to the living room.
"Ummm, Tyler? Addy?! What the-" Alexa was cut off by Brad's giggle.
Patrice, Adam, Milan and Tuukka were a good kind of lost. Who was Addy?
"New girl, Segs? You hop fast." Clearly chirping, Lucic winked as Tyler led Addy to a spot on the couch next to Patrice.
"Shut up." Tyler shot him a look.
"I mean, she's kinda cute. I see the resemblance between her and Alexa." McQuaid laughed. "Jokes." Addy rolled her eyes and simply was interested in the current NHL On The Fly? Addy cringed at her older sister and Brad, trying not to laugh at them. Suddenly, there was a precise knock at the door. Bergeron turned his head and decided to get off the couch and answer the knock, like the leader he was.
"Well, if it isn't...."
