Sight

The flight back home on Jonathan's private aircraft, the Chelsea Dagger, was just what everyone needed. Alexa and Brad next to each other, Patrice and Kalani sat across from them, and Addy sat across from Jamie. The inflight services were exceptional, sipping on water and meals that were sustainable for once in a few months.

Addy found herself staring out the window through brave, teary eyes, as Jamie constantly looked over to make sure she was okay.

Alexa and Brad were watching a diving complication that Jonathan found on YouTube, and Patrice and Kalani slept hand in hand. As expected. Flashes back to what used to be, forming together.

The flights first stop was in Boston, touching down at Logan Airport. 5:25am.

Between a mix of luscious purple and blue stars to a shimmering sun on the horizon, Addy couldn't stop looking at the sky and how much it reminded her of Brandon.

As Patrice got off the plane with Kalani, because Kalani was moving in with Patrice, Brad was getting something, as Alexa walked off of the plane, her badge falling off.

"You dropped this." Jamie picked up her badge, and this time, he handed it to her.

"Thank you Jamie." Alexa smiled as she put the badge over her neck again and hugged Jamie, through small tears. "Thank you for everything you've done. Dallas isn't ready for you."

Alexa giggled thankfully as she let the lone passenger, Jamie, enjoy his ride home.

As the plane took off, the Boston passengers waved at the Dallas flight. Jamie was headed home for himself, to reunite with his coaches and plan to get ready for the young season with the team. He was the C, after all.

Kalani and Patrice managed to take a taxi home, of course Patrice had room for one more at his crib. It felt empty without the usual crowd, but the friend in his life would eventually turn into family.

Brad moved in with Alexa and Addy. Everything was slowly falling into place.

A lot of dinner dates and parties were needed, snapchats sent to their friends from all over like Jamie and Jonathan, as work resumed and October finally swung around. And the cycle continued, for 4 more years.

The battle scars and memories from the pain of the past were noticeable at times, but everyone was reminded to live in the moment before anything, and dwell on nothing else, like Brandon said.
