Sight

Life on the road was normal, for the most part.
It's like a really long trip for an away game.
Addy couldn't stop thinking and adjusting. She caught herself daydreaming, craning her neck towards the nearest window, as she sighed.
Out of nowhere, every single aspect of Adam McQuaid morphed. Bones and muscles hunched over. The cart trembled, Tuukka ran back to the controller station as Lucic tried to calm a raging Adam down. Adam scratched Lucic before prowling around, why was he behaving like this? Addy's eyes widened, McQuaid charged towards her and dipped his neck somewhat down—"No!"
I'm dead.
Tyler crossed his arms over Addy, Addy panicking for breath.
"Shit, shit, shit. I forgot Adam was a freaking werewolf!" Lucic squat down, laughing.
"This isn't funny! This is nuts! I hate hockey! Addy shouted back.
Marchand tried to shuffle with Adam's sudden movements, he screamed.
"Oh man... Hey, hey! Stop! There isn't even a moon!"
McQuaid angrily slashed through the cart, burst through the outdoor cart, and ran off the train, never to be seen again. All that could be heard was howling.
"Whoever invited McQuaid in the first place, that was a immature idea. You know how he gets. Fix the damage. Come on! All we can do is find a way to manage the time and resources given to us." Patrice demanded, Brad and Milan fixing up the shards of broken glass and torn carpet, cleaning the compartment up.
Crouched in the corner, Addy cried again, catching her breath in front of Tyler.
Addy had a small wound, probably just the slash of a claw.
"Shhhh. Stardust. You're fine. I'm here." Tyler wiped her wound.
Addy tended to sleep easily, in the tiny corner of the train that she was hidden in to try to stop any more damage. She felt someone else fit in the small space, heavily breathing.
"It's just me stardust." Tyler mumbled against the back of her neck, his gotee brushing it gently.
Addy was calmed down, and safe. She decided to roll over to look at Tyler's face and eyes through her drying tears. The warmth and indescribable feeling were all there, but they both agreed without words that something else could wait. So, they fell asleep very closed to each other. JOLT.
Addy stirred overnight to awaken, causing Tyler to rise up, Tuukka's conductor cart slid open and there were muffled noises. Stepping into the main cart, was two tall figures who had Tuukka at knifepoint?
Bergeron stood up. "Who are you?"
Lucic also followed Patrice's lead, as Tyler went back to making sure Addy kept quiet and safe. As the taller figure stepped into the light, it was Jordie Benn.
And the shorter figure, who had Tuukka, was Jamie Benn.
"Give us the girl and no one gets hurt." Jamie demanded.
"Girl? There is no girl on here. Wrong train. Now let us go." Bergeron kept his cool, trying to distract the Benns.
Jordie stepped out of the cart and onto the outside balcony, Jamie let Tuukka go.
"Tom, they have no girl here!" He shouted.
"Not even Alexa Fitzgerald?"
Addy's mouth opened wide, shocked.
What did that voice just say?
The same, slick voice lingered closer.
"It's okay. We can continue. Start the train, now!"
Tyler locked eyes with Addy, their mental feelings knowing what was happening. Tyler got out of the compartment and sat up, as he saw Tom Wilson appear before his eyes. "What's good."
The train sped silently, with three new guests, Tom, Jordan, Jamie.
"I grabbed your friends and figured we could find you here." Tom glared at Tyler specifically.
Jordie and Jamie Benn were very close to Tyler, creating space next to where Tyler sat, talking across from each other at a table. They met at an Allstar Game, and somewhat kept in touch ever since.
Tom smirked. Tom Wilson, or Willy, was the typical high school jock. Practically enemies with everyone, making all the ladies swoon. But he alway could find his way.
"I think I'll sleep here. But. I have to go help someone get some coal or some shit to fuel this pathetic train if you want to get to King PKane." Tom stomped his foot around the space where Lucic slept.
His voice was smooth, persuading, and fierce. Everyone could hear him walk away.
Underneath the table, Addy was closest to the train wall as Tyler whispered something into Jamie's ear, then to Jordie's. Jamie and Jordie peered into the table, as Addy smiled small and mouthed a, "hi'!"
Jamie was impressed that Addy was related to Alexa.
So that was the girl from the lockout game who got fired?
"I remember.. Your sister! She was so nice." Jamie's voice was the same voice of support and positivity that he showed towards Alexa's job loss months before.
Jordie was furious about Patrick. Addy was relieved to have more acquaintances, but still worried sick. She squeezed Tyler's hand.
"What about him?" She mentioned, pointing from underneath the table at a boastful Tom. Tyler looked down her kindly.
"Don't worry Stardust. I have a plan."
