Give Me Love

Epilogue - 4

My, my, my, my, oh give me love

July 2019

I took a deep breath and ran my hand over the front of my dress, running my fingers over the crystals that were sewn into the lace overlay of my wedding dress.

I looked down at the bouquet of white roses in my hand and smiled. The day had finally arrived. I was going to marry Tyler, the absolute love of my life.

I bit my lip and looked behind me at the long train of lace attached to my form fitting dress, smiling as I did so.

"Nervous?" my dad asked me as we stood behind my sister and Tyler's best friend, our maid of honour and best man respectively.

I shook my head and looked up at him, "Not at all actually," I said with a smile.

He grinned back at me, "Good," he said with a nod, as our wedding planner ushered Mae and Jesse into the room to walk down the aisle.

"You look beautiful," my dad said softly to me.

"Thank-you, daddy," I said with a small smile, feeling my eyes prickle, "Damn, I didn't wanna cry already," I said with a small laugh, leaning my head back slightly and blinking rapidly as my dad chuckled from next to me.

"Save it for the ceremony," he told me as I giggle, looking straight on once again.

Our wedding planner, Jayne looked over me with a smile, "Ready?" she asked me.

I nodded, "Absolutely," I told her.

She nodded once and opened the doors. My dad and I took a step closer and I could hear everyone stand up as the wedding march started. We stood at the back of the venue and I looked around the people in the room as they all smiled at me and I smiled back at them. Most were faces I recognized, but others were ones I didn't. But then my eyes focused on the end of the aisle where I could see Tyler watching me. Our eyes connected and my eyes filled with tears immediately. I was so overcome with happiness in that moment, I couldn't contain it. As we walked closer to Tyler I could see some tears welled up in his eyes as well, but we smiled so wide at one another.

Tyler met me and my dad, I kissed my dad on the cheek and he gave my hand to Tyler. Tyler smiled and reached over and hugged my dad with his free arm, my dad hugged him tightly.
Tyler was nodding with a small smile on his face.

When they pulled apart Tyler smiled even wider at my dad, "I will, I promise," he said quietly.

My dad nodded once and took a step back. Tyler and I looked at each other and smiled, "You look beautiful," he told me quietly.

My face went red and I shook my head slightly as we turned to look at the minister, "Still makin me blush, Ty," I told him softly as I heard him chuckle from next to me.

The minister began the ceremony but all I could do was keep taking small glances out of the corner of my eye at Tyler standing next to me, holding my hand. Tyler and I would catch each other's eye and then we would both laugh a little bit. Finally it came to the part where we were gonna make our vows to each other, where I went first.

We both turned to look at each other and I couldn't wipe the smile from my face, "Tyler," I started, "our relationship has been the craziest thing I've even experienced," I said with a small laugh as did Tyler, "but I wouldn't change anything about it. My love for you grows every single day that we're together. I've never imagined a love like this for me, but I'm so blessed that I have it. I'm so blessed that you're the one that loves me like that. There's some days where I'll look at you and I have to catch my breath because I just can't believe you're real and that you picked me," I said, with the tears slowing falling down from my eyes, I look a second to pat them away, "I can't believe I'm marrying my best friend...my true love...my absolute world.

"I promise to love you unconditionally; I vow to love you more than anything. I vow to support you in everything you do. I vow to have babies with you and grow old with you. I love you so much, Tyler Paul Seguin," I finished, with a smile as Tyler watched me.

"Beautifully said," the minster told me, "Tyler, now it's your turn."

Tyler grinned, "Hard to follow," he said with a light laugh, making me giggle, "Raeanne, I'll never forget how I felt the first time I saw you in that restaurant years ago," he began, "I knew you were the most beautiful girl I had ever seen, and getting to know you over the first couple months of friendship was everything I could have asked for. You're perfect, Rae. Everything about you is perfect. You've made me the happiest that I've ever been, your support and your love mean the world to me. Sometimes I'll just look at you and I'll think to myself...how did I get lucky enough that you want to be with me...you loving me is the best feeling I've ever had in my entire life.

"I don't make promises I can't keep, you know that. So my promise...my vow to you, Raeanne Dixie Townson...soon to be Seguin," he said making me and the people in attendance laugh, "my vow to you is to love you the way you deserve to be loved. I vow to support you and be there for you, I vow to do everything I can in my power to make you happy, and to keep you safe. I vow to spend the rest of my life with you, and make you the happiest person. I love you, pretty girl," he said finishing up as I, again, had to dab the tears away from my eyes.

Tyler and I exchanged our rings and I kinda tuned out the minster, because all I wanted to pay attention to was Tyler. He was seconds away from being my husband and that was mindboggling to me.

"You may now kiss the bride!"

Tyler and I laughed, I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him sweetly for a few seconds before pulling away from him, "I love you," he told me.

"I love you too," I said back to him.

"It is now my pleasure to present to you for the first time as husband and wife...Mr and Mrs. Tyler Seguin!" the minster announced.

We looked at the crowd of our family and friends and smiled at them as we began walking back down the aisle.

Everything went by in a rush. We were swept away for the photos and then back to the venue for the receiving line to see our guests and accept their well wishes. Finally we had a moment while we were getting in line to enter the hall.

"So, Mrs. Seguin," Tyler started looking down at me, while his arms was slung around my waist.

I looked down at him and smirked, "Yes, Mr. Seguin?" I asked.

"Are you happy?" he asked me, as the announcements for everyone started to be welcomed into the hall from the wedding party.

I leaned into him, "More than happy," I murmured, "I never knew there was this level of happiness."

He lowered his head to me and smiled, "Trust me," he said when Mae and Jesse were announced, "there's plenty more levels of happiness. You'll get to all of them, I swear."

I pecked his lips quickly, "I believe you," I told him.

He looked down at me teasingly, "I'll get you to one of those levels tonight, baby," he said with a wink and his signature smirk.

My eyes went wide and my mouth dropped as I began laughing, I smacked his shoulder just as they announced us and opened the door for our entrance.

We were still laughing as we walked in, with everyone standing and cheering for us as we danced a bit to the song we chose as our entrance which was 'Shape of You,' by Ed Sheeran.
We smiled as our wedding party stood on the dance floor and the music slowly changed so that Tyler and I transitioned to our first dance.

'Give me love like her...'
