Maya woke up the next morning with the biggest smile on her face. Between Patrice moving on in the playoffs and their special night together, she was unbelievably happy in many aspects. Sometimes, it didn't feel real to her that she was dating one of Boston's most famous athletes, but Patrice made her the happiest she has ever been. She knew she had the best.

Maya picked up her phone and the time said 8:45 AM. The Bruins had practice at noon before flying to Tampa for games one and two, but the couple wanted one more time before Patrice left. She turned over on her side and saw him staring at her, "Well, good morning handsome."

"Good morning, beautiful. How did you sleep?" Patrice asked in his sexy morning voice.

Maya was so turned on by his moans, "Perfect because you were by my side. I wish you didn't have to go."

"I know, but we have some time now. Do you want to have a little fun?" Patrice smirked.

The couple put their pajamas back on and went down to the living room. Maya was a bit confused, as nothing seemed out of the ordinary. They had a huge couch, the fireplace, and their big screen TV. Maya turned around to say something when tears fell, "Oh my god."

Patrice, on one knee and an open ring box in his hand, "Maya Elizabeth, you are everything and more that I could have ever wanted. You are beautiful, sweet, funny, caring, and so much more. I don't know how I ever lived without you, and now, I never want to. You are perfect in every way. Will you marry me?"

"Patrice, of course I will. Yes!" Maya cried, admiring her new accessory.

This was the perfect sendoff before Patrice and the team leave to keep battling for the most esteemed trophy in all of hockey. Whether the Bruins win the Stanley cup or not, Maya knows that she had at least one big celebration in Boston!
