as I leave the rink I realized that tonight is the night I'm going out with Geno and I'm a wreck. I have so much to do so I call rose who is like my sister, to help me get ready for my date tonight. Rose: hey hockey girl what's up? she asks Me: I need your help Rose: with what Brooke? she asked I need you to help me get ready for my date for what felt like 5 minutes was actually 10 seconds then I hear a high pitched scream from the other end of the call it was loud enough that Olli Maatta and beau bennett were dying of laughter i mouthed Me: shut up and went back to my call me: rose you there?? Rose: yeah I'm here Brooke don't worry i'll be there soon bye mrs.stanley cup winner she yells Me: bye future Mrs.crosby i yell back Rose: EWWW NO I DON'T- Me: see you soon I yell at her cutting her off and hanging up to head over to the boys who are younger then me by 2-3 years Beau: HEEEEYYY BROOKIE!!!!!!! Me: HEEEYYY LAZY!!!!!!! Olli Maatta: so are you going to that new club tonight? Me: sorry boys but I have a date tonight. Both: WITH WHO!!!! Me: sorry boys I ain't telling yinz I'm not telling you, because I know you'll run to sidney and tell him. well beau would tell him olli's smarter then that I said turning and walking away from them. then I hear their little conversation Beau: Damn she just doesn't know how beautiful she is. Olli: I know she's so hot and perfect. Beau: And did you see the way her ass bounces when she walks ? Me: Beau if you talk about my ass again you won't have to worry about sidney you got it? I yelled at him in the parking lot yes ma'am he yells back with a hint of fear in his voice olli tries to hold in his laughter and I walk back to black widow (my truck) and drive home to get ready for tonight. I walk into my house and I see rose is already here Me: Rose how did you get in? ???: I let her in sidney says as I walk into the kitchen to grab some ice for my whiskey before tonight before I even take s drink of my whiskey Rose grabs my drink out of my hand Rose:NOOO DRINKING Tonight me: why just one glass ain't going to hurt. Rose: yeah but your different when it comes to whiskey. Me: what the hell is that suppose to mean I can handle my whiskey. Rose: yeah but no how much whiskey you drink you drink a lot of whiskey after one glass after I help you get ready you can have one whiskey deal? Me: fine whatever she puts it on the table and walks up the stairs I grab the drink and shoot it back and run up the steps Rose: BROOKE!!!! Me: COMING ROSE!!!!! I grabbed my phone and plug it into the speaker and play she's kinda hot by 5 seconds of summer I guess it was loud enough that sidney could hear it because next thing i know is sid starts pounding on the wall saying sidney: TURN DOWN YOUR DAMN MUSIC BROOKE!!!!!!! I turned down my music a little bit just to make Sid happy. After all that I went and got a shower (because I smelled like a gym locker) and I when I was finished Rose had already picked out my outfit for tonight because I'm not the girly girl type I'm more of a tomboyish kind of girl that's why I let Rose pick out my outfit she picked out a very sexy black strapless dress with lace all around the bottom and around the top of the dress. the dress only came to the top of my knees and some black high heels with a necklace with my hockey number on it 78 because that was my football jersey in high school and it's Sidney's hockey jersey number backward's and I get dressed. Rose does my make-up for what felt like 4 hours but it only took her a half an hour to do because I'm allergic to some ingredients in some make-ups all done ready to see I nod my head and she turns my chair around towards the mirror and I was shocked at my appearance I was beautiful Me: Oh my god Rose I look amazing thank you so much Rose: I said as I hugged her no problem it's your my sister that I never had and I would do anything for you. she says with her new York / Boston accent Rose: so who's the guy? no wait don't tell me its Olli, no wait beau, wait no it's Fleury it's got to be Fleury? Me: no it's not Olli fleury's married and has 2 kids and EWW I DON'T EVEN LIKE BEAU LIKE THAT!!!! It's the new guy Evgeni Malkin. Rose: Oooooh I've heard he is joining the Penguins he's hot I rolled my eyes at her and look at my phone and looked at the clock and seen that it was 6:50 I'll text Geno. Hey, Geno if you remember it's Brooke and I'm ready for you to come and get me if you're ready - Brooke then I walked downstairs and see Sidney sitting in my recliner watching college football Sidney: Whoa why are you dressed like that and where are you going? Me: I have a date tonight and he's taking me somewhere nice Sidney: who's your date? me: not telling you just like I told Beau and Olli I ain't telling no one. then I get a text from Geno Geno: how could I forget about such a beautiful girl like you I'll be there in 2 minutes I blushed when he called me beautiful it's weird to have a guy call me beautiful me: ok see you soon-B
