Dr. Grey Will See You Now

Kris was doing really well with rehab so they were discharging him home under Madison's care. He would start outpatient rehab soon at the penguins rehab facility. Kris was so happy to be getting sprung. He never felt better.
Madison packed his clothes and other belongings into the bags and had them ready to go. She took them out to the car and then came back to get Kris. Kris had just signed the paper work and was free to go.
"I think when we get home I am going to make dinenr and invite Liz and Micah over to celebrate." Madison says.
"Okay baby sounds good." Kris says.
"Anyone else you want to invite?" Madison asks.
"Can I invite Sid, Geno, Marc-Andre and Carl over as well." Kris asks.
"Sure baby." Madison says as they head to the car.
"Awesome thanks Maddie you are the best." Kris says as they head home.
A few mintue later they arrive and Madison help him into the house first and then gets the stuff.
Ashes was all over Kris.
"Hey baby daddy missed you too." Kris says petting her.
He gently picks her up carrying her into the living room sitting down with her in his lap.
Madion took a picture it was to cute. She then sent a text out to Liz, Sid , Geno, Marc-Andre and Carl inviting them to dinner later to celebrate Kris being home.
"So what are we going to have for dinner?" Kris asks.
"I don't know but I need to go to the store. Will you be okay here for an hour?" Madison says.
"Yes baby. I am going to lie on the couch and take a nap with our fur baby." Kris says.
"Okay see you in a few." Madison says kissing his head.
She goes to the store. Kris lays down on the couch with Ashes and they both fall asleep.

Madison arrives home a little bit later with a nunch of groceries. She goes in and puts them away being quiet not wanting to wake Kris. She was going to make meat loaf, Macaroni and cheese, brocolii and cauliflower for dinner. She had made sure she had chicken nuggets for Micah knowing they were his favorite. Madison had changed into one of Kris's practice shirts and a pair of boy shorts. She turned on some music low as she started to cook. She mixed up the meatloaf first and then put it in the pan and in the oven. Then she started to make her own cheese suace for the Mac and Cheese. She put the noddles on to boil and then put the brocolii and cauliflower in to steam.
"Something smells good. "Kris says coming up behind her wrapping his arms around her waist resting his hands on her belly.
"Thanks baby. Making your favorites." Madison says.
"You are the best." Kris says kissing her neck.
"Thanks. Sorry if I woke you?" Madison says.
"You didn't baby Ashes did. She had to go out." Kris says.
"Oh." Madison says.
"Yeah I will set the table." Kris says.
"Okay food should be ready in about 30 minutes and everyone should be arriving shortly as well." Madison says.
Kris gets the table set for everyone. As he finished the doorbell rang.
"I got it." Kris says as Madison finished making dinner.
Kris opens the door finding Sid, Geno, Marc-Andre and Carl standing there.
"Hey guys come in." Kris says.
"Thanks man. Good to see you up and about man." Sid says hugging him gently.
"Thanks. I feel great." Kris says.
"How is the pain?" Marc-Andre asks.
"Minimal." Kris says.
"Good Need Tanger back." Geno says.

"Yeah I am hoping to be back by training camp." Kris says.
The doorbell rings again. Kris opens it finding Liz and Micah standing there.
"Come in." Kris says.
Micah hugs him saying "Daddy's home."
"Yes buddy I am home." Kris says.
"He wants to stay the night." Liz says.
"That is okay he can." Kris says.
"Yeah he is welcome here anytime." Madison says.
She sits the food down on the table and everyone sits down to eat.
"This is good Madison." Sid says.
"Yeah delicious." Carl says.
"Thanks." Madsion says.
THey all eat the food all having seconds. Once everyone was done she starts to clean up.
"I will help you. We can have girl talk while they have guy talk." Liz says.
The guys head into the game room to watch the hockey games that were on.
"I want to say sorry for how I acted the other day when you told me about your news." Liz says.
"Oh Liz, I am sorry. I didn't know it was twins. When Kris told me my heart ached for you and for him and then I felt like a horrible friend." Madison says.
"You are not a horrible friend. You are a wonderful one." Liz says.
"I am sorry I was blessed with twins when you weren't." Madison says.
"Don't please don't. I am truly happy for you and for Kris. I know he is over the moon about the news. Micah is too. All he has been talking about is how he can't wait to be a big brother." Liz says smiling.
"I know. When we annouce it to the hockey world we were wonding if we could use Micah doing a big brother pic." Madison asks.
"Oh absolutely." Liz says.
"Good. So how are things going with your guy?" Madison asks.
"Great wonderful. I asked him to move in with me and Micah. I was going to bring him tonight but I didn't want to spring him on Kris while he is recovering from surgery." Liz says.
"It would have been fine. You know Kris will be happy for you." Madison says.
"Yeah I know but still. Maybe a few days or so when things are back to normal." Liz says.
"Yeah." Madison says.
They finish cleaning the dishes and then sit down and talk somee more.

Kris and the guys were in the game room watching the other games. Micah was watching with them until he fell asleep on Sid. Washington was playing Toronto and they were watching closley. Because who ever won out of those two would be who the Penguins faced if the advanced to the next round.
"Game 5 tomorrow night." Sid says.
"Yeah ready." Geno says.
"Yeah I am excited to watch it." Kris says.
"Why don't you come to the game." Sid says.
"Yeah I should be able to now that I am out of rehab." Kris says.
"I am sure Mario will let to sit in his box." Carl says.
"Tanger come." Geno says.
"Yeah I think I will. " Kris says.
"Good I will let Mario know." Sid says.
Kris was happy to get to watch the game and watch his friends play at home.
They finish watching the game. The Series was tied 2-2. ]
"Well we better get going. Game day tomorrow." Sid says.
"Yeah good luck guy." Kris says.
"We do it for you." Geno says.
"Thanks guys." Kris says taking a sleeping Micah from Sid.
They hug and the guy go to leave.
Kris carries Micah to bed changing him into his pj's tucking him into bed. He kisses him turns on his night light and then leaves shutting the door softly.
He goes to find Madison. She was in the kitchen washing out the glasses.
"Liz gone too?" Kris asks.
"Yeah she just left." Madion says.
"Good the guy left too." Kris says.
"Micah asleep?" Madison asks.
"Yeah he tried with all his might to stay up with us guys but he ended up falling alseep on Sid." Kris says.
"Oh." Madison says.
"Yeah I changed him and tucked him in. However I can imagine that sometime tonight he will worm his way into our bed." Kris says smiling.
"I am sure of it. He missed his daddy." Madison says.
"Yeah I missed him." Kris says.
"Ready for bed?" Madison asks.
"Yeah baby come on." Kris says taking her hand.
They walk hand in hand to the bedroom. They strip out of their clothes putting on what they were sleeping in and lay down.
"I love you Kristopher." Madison says laying her head on his chest.
"I love you too Maddie." Kris says.
