Dr. Grey Will See You Now

Kris showered and dressed in a nice pair of jeans and a nice dress shirt with a tie. He arrived at the resturant and goes in to get a table.
"Welcome to Olive Garden how many in your party?" The hostess asks.
"Two please however the other part of my party hasn't arrived yet." Kris says.
"Okay well I can seat you and when they come I can escort them back." The hostess says.
"Okay I am waiting on Dr. I mean Madison Grey." Kris says.
"Oh Dr. Grey she is a regular here we will make sure she finds you." She says.
She leads him back to a booth. Kris sits down. A few minutes later Madison was sitting across from him.
"Hello Kristopher." Madison says smiling at him.
"Hello Madison." Kris says smiling back.
She looked so beautiful in her jeans and peasant top. They look over the menu.
Kris orders the Tour of Italy and Madison orders the Chicken Parm. They both get the unlimited salad and chicken gonnachi soup as well.
"So Madison where are you from? Kris asks her.
"I am from Pittsburgh. I was born and raised here." Madison says.
"Did you go to school here too?" Kris asks.
"Yes I went to college and the University of Pittsburgh and then went to Med School in the Carribean. And then I came back here and did my internship and fellow at UMPC Prysbeterian. I have been a Penguins fan since I have been a little girl so when the oppurtunity arised to start working for them as one of their neuro surgeons as well as personal trainer and massage therapist I jumped on it." Madison says.
"That is good sounds like you love being a doctor." Kris asks.
"I do. I love helping people." She replies.
"That is good." Kris says.
"Yeah. So I know you are from Montreal." Madison says.
"Yes was born and raised there. Started playing hockey one day as a little kid just for shits and giggles and ended up falling in love with the sport. I started to take it serious and played for Juniors. I then ended up paying in the minors down in Wilks Barre. One day they called me up and I have been here ever since." Kris says.
"That is awesome." Madison says.
"Have you ever been married?" Kris asks just out of cuiosity.
"Nope never been married. Date here and there but nothing serious?" Madison says knowing a lot of people couldn't handle her tastes.
"I am sure its hard to date with being one of the top doctors in your field." KRis says.
The salad and soups arrive and they slowly start to eat.
"Yeah it is. So what about you have you ever been married?" Madison asks.
"Yes I was married for a year. Just recently divorced." Kris says.
"Wow I am sorry." Madison says.
"It's okay. Elizabeth and I were friends back in Montreal. Well finely five years after we met we were both able to tell each other how we felt. We started dating. Not long after she found out she was pregnant with our baby. In 2012 our song Micah was born. I asked Elizabeth to marry me in 2013 she agreed and we were set to be married in 2014 but before we could I had a stroke due to a heart defect. She was there for me and with her along with my teammate SIdney Crosby I made it through. We neded up married in 2015 however things were never the same after the stroke." Kris says.
"What do you mean?" Madison says.
"Liz wanted me to quit hockey and walk away. But she don't realize how much hockey means to me. Besides my son it's my life. We never fully recovered from that. We argued over it constantly. So we both mutualy decided to end our marriage but did it on good terms. We share join custody of Micah and all is good." Kris says.
"That is good. I hope I get to meet Micah." Madison says.
"I am sure you will at some point. He is my pride and joy my mini me." Kris says smiling.
Their main courses come and they talk and laugh while they eat. Kris was glad she agreed to come tonight for the first time in a long time he was happy and enjoying himself.
"I am glad I came. It was nice getting to know you and I can't wait to help you with your injury." Madison says.
"I can't wait to work with you either." Kris says as he grabs the bill.
"Are you sure I can get it." Madison says.
"It's fine. My mama would crucify me if she knew I made a woman pay. "Kris says.
He pays the bill.
"Thank you Kristopher." She says.
"Welcome Madison." Kris says.
"So tomorrow you want to meet at the training facilty for your first session. We will do an hour or so of intense work out followed by a massage to relax the neck." Madison says.
"Sounds good. By the way here is my numnber in case you ever need to reach me." Kris says handing her a paper with his number on it.
"Okay and here is my number." Madison says haning him a business card. On the back she wrote her private cell number.
"Thanks." Kris says.
"I normally don't give my private cell number to patients but you again are an exception." Madison says,
"Well thank you." Kris says as the get up and head towards the door.
"Thanks for dinner again an I will see you tomorrow around 9 am?" Madison says.
"You are welcome and I will be there 9 am sharp." Kris says.
They part ways heading to their vehicles and both head home. Tomorrow would be a long day.
