"Mr. Marchessault, we have some good news and bad news." The doctor addressed Jonathan, after he had led him into one of the offices in the small doctoral building,


"Okay..." Jonathan said hesitantly, "Good news first."


"You and your fiancée are going to have a boy."


Jonathan kept his celebration inside. A question took over his thoughts. "Why isn't Trinity in here?" His jaw clenched, his blue eyes becoming cold to look at.


"Trinity knows this already, Jonathan. You're fiancée has Acute Myeloid Leukemia."


"WHAT!?" Jonathan jumped up, "You're kidding right? You're fucking kidding me!" He took off to the room Trinity was in. She wasn't alone, William stood beside her, his arm around her back, while her face was buried in her palms.


"What the fuck are you doi--"Jonathan started to yell at Will, but Will cut him off.


"Jonathan, just cut out the childish bullshit for once. More importantly, Trinity has a 28 percent chance to live, it's that serious. She'll need chemo immediately, which will kill your son." Will didn't meet eyes with him,


Jonathan didn't say anything as he grabbed Trinity's hand, and took her home.
