Hockey Swingers Club

Chapter 4

It's been over twenty-four hours since Lori went missing, and everyone in the neighborhood is on edge. The police have already ruled out James because of his alibi, as well as Aly and Chris, and Henrik and Therese. Beverly and Sean were supposedly in the Hamptons for their anniversary getaway with Madison and Ryan, another couple in the swingers club, but the hotel said the couples never checked in.

Aly was getting really worried and hoped Lori was okay. She was so friendly and welcoming, and her anxiety was getting to the best of her. Aly and Chris were with James inside his home, with the police, hoping to try and find some more answers regarding her strange disappearance.

While the police spoke to the men, Aly snuck upstairs to James and Lori's room in hopes of finding a clue or two herself. She noticed one of Lori's nightstand drawers were open, so she took a peek and what she found was shocking. There were photos of her and a man that was not James!

The clearing of someone's throat startled Aly, "Ahem? Looking for something?"

Aly shockingly turned around and saw James, "Oh, uh, no. I thought I lost something when I was up here with you during our club last week."

"Mhmm hmm, sure. Aly, what is going on?" James asked.

"Nothing. Seriously. Everything is fine," Aly scoffed.

As Aly tried to leave the room, James grabbed her arm, "I know you want me."

"Excuse me!? I'm married to Chris!" Aly said.

"You were married the other night during our "meeting" too, remember? Come on, I saw the way you looked at me," James smirked, leaning in closer.

Aly pushed him off, "Okay, enough. You are married and your wife is missing! We need to help the police find her."

"Oh please, she's off with her boyfriend Sean. I'm not stupid," James huffed.

"Yeah, well...wait. What did you say? Sean?" Aly was stunned.

James laughed, "Like she didn't think I'd find out. They were screwing around for three months when Beverly went to Bel Air to see her "sick grandmother." Sean was so delusional. I followed Lori when she said she was going to the gym that day. Unbelievable, right?"

"James...did you kill your wife?" Aly worried.

"Murder her? Gosh, no. I'd never see the light of day again if I did that. I just simply...got rid of her. You know, teach her a lesson," James smirked.

Aly ran for the door to tell the police when James grabbed her. He held her against the wall and gently covered her mouth with his hand, "If you say a word to anyone, I will make your life a living hell across the street. No one is to ever know what I just said to you. Deal?"

Aly nodded and mumbled, "Yes."

James removed his hand and brushed his lips against her cheek, "Good girl. Now, leave before I make a rash decision."

Was James bluffing...or was he a man obsessed? Where is Lori? And Sean, where is he too?
