New and confused...?

I just stumbled upon this site on a search for new hockey fanfiction to read. I supposed I'm a little confused/new/scared....I've mostly just been exposed to AO3. Which is primarily slash heavy, not too big on m/f stories. I am a newbie writer. Not really sure what this post is about besides to say hey! and maybe make some friends.
