View count issue?

I might be going insane, but my view count has been stuck at the same number for over a week. I'm wondering if there is something going on technically, because I've posted two new chapters this week and even when I don't post it usually goes up by one or two anyway. Originally I thought that maybe no one was reading but I've gotten some friends to click onto it just to see and nada. I'm stuck and 8,828 and it's driving me nutty!

Anyone else experiencing this? It's not a huge deal, but I get a nice little boost when I see numbers go up. (I check every morning...)

Edit to add: I'm on the popular page so I can totally rule out that no one is reading haha.

Yeah we've got the same problem and we're on the popular page too and it's been like that for like 3 weeks.

Oh good! Well not good that we're having this problem, but good that I'm not the only one.
Do we just wait for the gods of HFF to fix it or?

I guess so, I mean there's no one you can email and say fix it please! It happened a couple of months ago to us too and then we looked one day and it was fixed so I guess we just need to wait and see what happens which is really annoying.

Ugh! That is so annoying. I hope it eventually counts all the views it's missing now. Stupid technology.

I know. We really want to see how many views we have because we've worked hard... It's super annoying.

Exactly!! And two chapters worth of views is a hell of a lot to lose, especially if I just got onto page 1.
I like to keep track of the views too so I can know when the best time to post is.

Is there a way to contact someone to get it fixed?

I looked and there's no "company" that runs the website so there's really no one to contact, and if there is, there is no place giving contact information. I mean we haven't been able to see our views since we posted our 7th chapter and we just posted 18 so it's been awhile since the view counter got messed up.

So hopefully It will sort itself out? Frick i hope it's soon. I'm not good with waiting for technology to fix itself.

I mean it worked itself out last time but it only took about a week and a half and its been about 2-3 weeks since this started for us. I know im impatient in general so this isn't fun at all.

I'm having that problem now. My story has been at the same count for over a week, yet I have new subscribers and comments. I have also updated 2 new chapters. It's exciting/motivating to see the number of views increase. I hope the issue will be fixed and correctly credit all of our stories.

Mine fixed itself a few weeks ago, but now I have noticed it is stuck AGAIN! I really wish we knew who was in charge of this site and could figure such issues out!

It's been several weeks and still no change in the views. This is so frustrating!! I have several new comments and followers. I'd really like to know the accurate view count too!

I'm assuming it's based on views per a certain period of time. I was the first one day and on the second page the next and my views are less than some and more than others.

did your view counter ever end up getting fixed? this is so annoying ugh!

It was randomly fixed one morning, then a few weeks later screwed up, then fixed itself, now it's on the fritz again. I want to bang my ahead against a wall.

It was fixed briefly about a week and a half ago but is screwed up again. So frustrating that there isn't anyone we can email to correct the problem!!

It's been like a month now... I'm really starting to get annoyed. If i didn't have so many awesome readers on here I'd stop using this site. If anyone who runs the site is reading this please help me.
