I will b sad to c it end! I hope u do a sequel of like what hpns later on for Sid and Brooklyn! Cant wait for the next (and last) chapter
I agree with Jordyn4's comment. What was with Brooklyn just packing up and announcing she was leaving when Sidney came home. I mean she already had her bags at the door. Weird! And then being upset that he doesn't have more time during the playoffs. While he had lots of time but you went to go party with Kings in LA instead of hanging out and supporting your boyfriend.
She really needs to get a clue when it comes to Jacob. Whether he is the stalker or just paying someone to do it, or whatever, he has crossed way over the line in his job. Brooklyn needs to put a stop to the way he treats Sidney. It is just completely disrespectful and her allowing it continue (even in his own home!!!) is utterly unfair to Sidney. If I were Sidney I'd be pretty pissed at her for allowing it.
I have to say I’m more than a bit confused by Brooklyn in this chapter.
I thought they would be trying to be more supportive of each other since the reconciliation. Sidney made such an effort to be there for her big moment (The Oscars) and here she just packs up and leaves on Sidney when she doesn’t have anything else going on, rather than stay and support him. I can understand if she was working, but she wasn’t. You’d think since she is so busy, and there will be so many times that she can’t be there for him, that she would want to stay and support him when she could. And the way it all went down was just weird. She just decided to leave and packed up her stuff while he was out. She didn’t even discuss it with him. It was very sudden and kind of cold. And then Jacob is allowed to just come waltzing into Sidney’s home? The fact she allowed Jacob to speak to Sidney like that in his own house really upset me.
I was also confused because when she did go back to Pittsburgh, she was upset Sidney wouldn’t be around because she wanted to spend time with him, but when he did have time to spend with her before, she packed up and left to go back to LA.
And then there is the whole keeping things from Sidney. Come on Brooklyn, really??? I really thought Brooklyn would have learned her lesson about keeping things, important things, from Sidney, but apparently not.
I have always taken Brooklyn for a smart girl but many of her actions in this chapter are making me rethink that opinion.
Man, I have to say, Brooklyn’s sister really pisses me off. It really seems like all she cares about is what things look like to others and trying to show-up her sister. Who would have though Cluade would be the more likable one in the coupling??? This stalker business is really creepy. I can understand why both Sidney and Brooklyn are upset. What a horrible feeling that must be. I have a feeling it has something to do with Jacob. He just isn’t right. And why Brooklyn continues to let him get away with treating Sidney so rudely is beyond me. I know he is her friend and not just an employee, but I would never let my friends talk to my boyfriend the way he does. It’s horrible, and I hope Brooklyn does something before if becomes an issue between her and Sidney. Can’t wait for more. I’m excited for when they have more time to spend together.
I am so glad they are back together. They really are a wonderful couple.
It made me so happy when Sid showed up. What a wonderful surprise for Brooklyn. I’m glad he decided to go after what he wanted and just lay out how he felt, no games, just I’m sorry, I love you and I want to be with you. I’m excited for when they can continue their reunion in a more private setting.
I do think there will still be some thing to figure out. Mainly Jacob. The way he has treated Sidney is not okay. And Sidney could be the most secure man in the World, but I still can’t imagine him being okay with Jacob and Brooklyn working so close together after everything that has happened. Plus, if Brooklyn values her relationship and Sidney’s feelings, she shouldn’t want to put him in that position day after day.

Even though it will take a while, hopefully they can work it out. And forgive each other for her past and what's going on now.
I just found this story and I love it. I read all 24 chapters this weekend and was so happy to wakeup to a new chapter this morning. I absolutely love Sidney and Brooklyn together. They are such a great match! But it does appear that they are in for a bit of a tough time. I don’t think the drug use will be the big issue (that is clearly in her past) the problem will be that she lied to him and kept this information from him. It is made worse by the fact that Sidney found out from his teammates and boss. It is humiliating to think that everybody knows something about the person you love before you, that you have been kept in the dark and played a fool by someone you trusted. I’m sure it will be especially difficult for him to swallow given that he defended her to his father and the press. It just further makes him look the naïve, foolish boyfriend. Now for who I’m not in love with… Brooklyn’s sister has some serious issues. I get the whole sibling rivalry and everything but purposefully trying to push Scott on Brooklyn and mess-up her relationship with Sidney is way over the line. That goes beyond sibling jealousy and the usual drama that goes on in sister relationships. And Jacob! What is his deal? I get the feeling that he is in love with Brooklyn and maybe that’s why he is so against Sidney, but I really don’t understand his behaviour. He may be Brooklyn’s friend but he is also her employee and talking to Sidney that way was way out of line. I really hope Brooklyn says something to him because it is really unfair for Sidney to have to put up with that kind of attitude from him, especially since he has done nothing to deserve it. If Sidney is as important to her as I think he is, she owes it to him to take a stand. Sorry for the crazy long comment. That’s what happens when you read 24 chapters in 2 days. Really looking forward to reading the next chapter.

Finally finished! I think that was a great ending. I can't wait to start the sequel!
