I know how you feel at uni and college I had too much to do and I think writing was a release of free time and procrastination and then after with work I just feel demotivated to start a new story :) please write more it appears a few of us are waiting on this story to be updated : I like how she's not simply perfect and that he seems to have some issues with assuming what he should do as a bf but also that he does it out of a caring place
She should explain that she's not with him for his money and that he doesn't have to buy her things if she's uncomfortable about it. he just wants to treat her. shame she's not close with her family.

Big step meeting his parents and going home with him. I know she's scared but her actions show she wants to be with him so maybe she should just be with him.

I think it's both, survival & learned behavior. Also with Harper being an intellect and a reader, I feel like the more she's going to be in her head with her relationship with Jason. She's gonna psych herself out before they really get started. Hopefully, Jason will be able to reel her in.

Secondly, I loved your comment because that's exactly what it is... confusing. I think a lot of people (or at least me), have been in situations where the ideas of what something could be is so great and fantastic, and then when it's suddenly put in front of us as a real possibility, we start to go through all the reasons why it shouldn't happen. Our brains have a knack for overthinking and going through worst-case scenarios. I'm not sure if that's a survival thing, or a learned behavior, but it will all make sense in the coming chapters for Harper :)
Had to reread ch 4 & 5 regarding their relationship. Harper's kinda confusing me now. She was hurt that Jason didn't want to stay over the previous night & wanted to know what they were because she clearly is into him. Now she doesn't want to accept them being exclusive cause she's never been in a relationship before, & she's kinda using this as a test on how hard she can push him away? What the fuck?!?! Why bother playing these games? He already said that he wants to be with her, and only her, exclusively. I get she doesn't want to lose her identity in this relationship, but that doesn't always happen. You just have to find a good balance between the two.
I really like where this story is heading. Keep up the great work!! :)
