That last goal was amazing, Howard didn't see anything coming, and the faceoff was perfect, great pass. I bow to thee hockey players. The minute the goal scored Lauren, Tessa and I all had a big group hug. "Happy Birthday!" They yelled, I laughed, "Thanks!" We let eachother go and we all started dancing to
Chelsea Dagger, Tessa punched me in my arm and told me to look infront of me, I looked up and saw Jonathan, I had to smile, I was dancing even more and gave him a thumbs up, he smiled back and did a little dance out there like he was making fun of me, I started laughing and he waved to me and skated to
the circle, The girls and I hugged eachother and grabbed our bags and our drinks.
"That was a freaking awesome game!" Tessa shouted, "Screw you wings!" We all laughed at her, and then she started to act like she was flying and then then falling, "Oh yeah! Thats what the wings did!" She was jumping all over the place like someone spiked her tea.
"Hey! Calm down! If you get jumped or arrested I'm going to be the one responsible!" Lauren yelled at Tessa, but she kept running, we rolled our eyes, "So.. are you ready to find him?"
I just looked at her, "I'm sure he has better things to do than look for me, or be around me.." That stopped Lauren in her tracks. She just stood there staring..
"You saw the way he looked at you right?"
"Yeah?"
I'm pretty sure he's going to be looking for you." she grinned at me, and I turned around to see Tessa run up behind Lauren and jump on her back saying "Run, Lauren Run!"
"Have fun on the car ride!" and Lauren just glared at me, I smiled at her
"If you here of a murder, I didn't do it.." I had to laugh at her. We walked a little ways, trusting Lauren she knew where she was going, we then walked to a place where almost no one was, and then turned a corner, I didn't even know where I was, I looked behind me at Lauren just in time to see her dumping Tessa off of her back and onto the floor. I then heard a door open and I felt sick, my heart jumped. Tessa came up to me and patted my shoulder, I looked and gave her a nervous smile. Lauren just stood next to me smiling too. I then saw two shadows come around the corner, and there they were. Jonathan Toews, and Patrick Kane. Since when did it get so hard to breathe? Oh God, breathe Lilly, BREATHE! I looked at Jonathan and he smiled at me. Lauren whispered to me to introduce myself. I smile back at him, I smile waaaay to much. Stop smiling!Ahhhh, I took a breath and looked at him, he was flawless,and had helmet hair, I understood all too well, I missed playing hockey.
"Hi, I'm Lilly..." I smiled, I was so nervous, I couldn't believe I was talking to an NHL star! He smiled back, making me blush.. PUCK! Stop it!!!

Lilly, Such a beautiful name, it fit her well, I couldn't help but smile, which I guess caused her to blush, Adorable, I thought to myself.
"Um, I don't really think I'm supposed to be back here, but my friends thought it would be a good idea to come back here, I think I'm starting to agree with them now." She laughed lightly and motioned to two girls, they were both tall, Both with brown hair and skinny, and also very pretty, "This is Tessa," She pointed towards the skinniest one with super long legs, and some reason reminded me of a bird, "and this is Lauren." she then pointed to the other one, who was lacking in blackhawks apparel, it kinda amused me. "I'm sorry about all of this, You can blame them." She seemed like a very cheerful person, almost always smiling.
I laughed and smiled too, "I'm Jon, but I'm pretty sure you already know that," we both laughed and looked at Kane he looked like he going to pee, weird, "I was actually kind of hoping you would be back here, It sounds weird I know, but I saw you during the game and I wanted to meet you, so this numbnut here" I
gestured to Kane wether he liker it or not, he deserved it, "decided it would be a good idea to come find you." I laughed.
"Hey, Numbnut saved you from boredom!" Kane laughed, me and Lilly rolled our eyes and smiled.
Lauren and Tessa leaned over to Lilly and said they had to leave, so they gave hugs and said bye to Kaner and I and left, I felt bad for her in a way, I mean, her friends completly ditched her.
"Um, do you want to go catch up with your friends?" I asked awkwardy, and Kane slammed his head against the wall, I rolled my eyes in his own stupidity, Lilly looked at him like he was insane, then she looked at me and chuckled.
"No, They have to drive all the way back to Indy, so I'm gonna go ahead and walk home later, I was actually thinking about grabbing something to eat, umm, do you maybe wanna come with?" She asked, "You don't have to if you don't want to, I mean, you just finished a game, so you're probably really
tired.. but I thought some food might sound good." Oh my God, she was so kind too... Perfect
"Actually I was going to ask you the same thing!" I cracked a smile
"Well then, where do you want to go?"
She seemed so nervous, " Wherever you want, my treat, dinner to celebrate the win, and to relieve yourself from awkward friends. Ya know, you don't need to be nervous right! Its okay, I'm just me, I'm not going to kill you or anything."
She laughed, "I know, I'm just being weird, well how about we throw in a birthday celebration too!" Kane walked up next to me, "Is it your birthday?" He smirked at Lilly with happy eyes.
"Yeah, and so far its been the best birthday ever!" She cheered as we started walking, she was hugging her arms across her body, as if she was to say, "Hey, I'm glad to be here, I'm just really shy." I couldn't help but chuckle, amazing.
"Well, how old are you Lilly?" I asked, being sure to throw in her name. She looked up at me, when I said it and she blushed
"19"
I laughed, "You just turned 19, you met 19, and oh, by the way, great jersey. You look awesome in it." I flashed a silly toothy smile. She hid her face in her hair and laughed a little
"Well thank you! I Felt like I had to wear it, its my first game, and It felt right to wear it." That stopped me dead in my tracks. She turned, and almost looked scared that she said the wrong thing, then I started walking again.
"Wait, your first game? And your 19? Where are you from?"
She laughed, "Yeah, my first game, and if you want to get techicnal, Colorado, then Indiana, and now I live here."
"Ugh, Colorado." I rolled my eyes but made a jokey smile.
"Hey, Colorado is amazing! Its beautiful! But in all fairness, I think Chicago is better." She winked at me,
"Really now, Whys that?"
"Its a big city, I'm moving into a huge aparment, I just met two of my favorite hockey players, I'm going to dinner with one, when I moved here, everthing just started getting better, plus the hockey here is amazing. Along with the shopping."
I couldn't help but blush a little, "Aw shucks," I winked, "What aparment building? I know there is an aparment in my building for rent, but I saw people
moving stuff in there, I don't think it could be you, just due to the fact that they're loud!" We finally got to the doors of the United Center and I saw it was starting to snow, I held open the door for her and she smiled and thanked me, we walked down the steps into downtown Chicago.
"I'm moving into the Coast, down at Lakeshore East?"
"No way, I think you're three doors down from me!" I looked around and didn't see Kane, he must have left.
"Cool! So this definently isn't the last time I'll see you?" She looked at me like she was asking for something. I could just get lost in her eyes. They were the brightest blue eyes I have ever seen, they fit her well.
"Of course not. Even if we didn't live by each other, I would still hope to meet up with you, Hey, can I see your phone?" I smiled at her, and suprisingly she unlocked it and gave it to me.
"Here ya go!" I quickly put my number in her phone, setting my name as "My favorite hockey boy" I handed it back to her and she smiled as our hands touched, her hand felt like it was freezing.
"Thanks, my favorite hockey player!" She laughed and shook as a chill went down her spine, but she just kept walking and talking to me.
"Your welcome, hey, do want my jacket? I have my sweater, Its warm enough for me." I said as I handed my jacket to her, I was still burning up from the game, and the snow and the air felt great.
"No, you keep it, I don't want you to get cold." she pushed my hand away.
"I don't want you to get sick, please.." I stopped walking and said with pleading eyes, she stopped with me and turned to me, "I'm fine!" She laughed at me, "Really." I rolled my eyes and put it around her shoulders, and putting the hood over her head, her cheeks were flushed and I just wanted her stay warm. She smiled, "Thanks Jon." I couldn't help but smile back
"I knew you wanted it."
"Or did I?"
"Oh come on, you know you want all this!" we both started cracking up laughing. On our way to the resturant we talked, mostly about hockey, but it was probably one of the best conversations ever. I was glad I came out of the locker room with Kane for the first time in my life, I actually listened to some
of his advice. I had to remember to call him later and say thanks.
