I don't know why I was so shy tonight, I'm almost never the kind of person who is nervous or won't talk to anyone. Maybe because I don't want to be known as the girl who was freaking weird, or annyoing to him. I felt like if I was to do something that I would normally do, I would get judged, and I hated thinking about that, but overall I was having a great night, Jon was so funny and kind. Yeah, from what I've seen he seems like a really great person, but thats on tv. Now I know that no matter what I've seen, he truly is great. We walked down the sidewalk talking. We talked about hockey, friends, Chicago, it was great. But then I started shivering. Stupid snow, I thought, Jeez, why was I born in the beginning of December? Its freezing, and of course, idiot me never brings a hoodie. I looked up at Jon as he gave my phone back to me and our fingers touched, and he looked at me, as I shivered. Dang.

"Umm, do you want my jacket?" He asked,removing his jacket and handing it to me. "Yes!" I thought to myself, but I couldn't say that.

"No keep it." I pushed his hand away, we was so warm... Hug me now.

"Please, just take it, I don't want you to be sick. Do it for me please." He pleaded, I could just melt into his eyes.

"No, I'm fine," But really I thought I was going to die but I don't know of what, freezing, or by looking into his eyes.

"Really.." He put his jacket around me, it was so warm, and had an amazing smell. It brought me back to the memories of hockey, and pulled me back into reality by intaking the scent of his clogone. I looked up at him and smiled. "Thanks Jon."

"I knew you wanted it.."

"Or did I?"

He joked with me for a little while and then we started walking a little ways more, and then came up to a mexican resturant, one of my favorite places to eat in Chicago. He turned and looked at me, and opened the door "How's this place sound? You up for mexican?"

I walked through the door, "Thanks, It sounds great, I love this place, I used to always come here with one of my friends." I felt a rush of sadness over come me, and I spaced out.

"Hey you okay?" Jon rubbed my back as we waited in line to be seated. I looked up at him,

"Yeah, I just thought of something.."

"Oh, okay. Please be happy though, I don't want to see you sad. You don't seem like a sad kinda person." He laughed

"Oh believe me when I say this, I'm happier than I could probably ever be. I don't see me being sad when I'm around you."

"Why Lilly, are you flirting with me?" He smiled and acted like he was blushing

"I don't know, am I?" I laughed at him and winked.

He smiled, "If you are, keep it up."

I couldn't help but blush, oh Jeez, How am I this lucky to be at dinner with my idol? Ahhh. We quickly got seated and ordered dinner.

"So you were saying that you're moving tomorrow right?" He looked up just to clarify that he was correct,

I laughed "Yep, tomorrow, Its going to be so freaking hectic, Its just going to be me and my parents moving the stuff. I don't want tomorrow to come."

He chuckled "Well I was thinking, maybe I could possibly help you and everything. I mean, I'm not doing anything tomorrow, and I might be able to get a couple of the guys over to your aparment to help move furniture and everything."

"Really? Are you sure? That would be great, I don't have that much stuff left, like I said, all of my bedroom furniture, clothes, and dogs. and thats it." I can't believe it. He was going to help me move too!

"Yeah I'm sure, Kane has been bugging me to go do something, and I figured it would maybe relieve some of your stress and might make things easier, and I'm sure Sharpie would love to help too."

"Well I certianly won't deny a chance to hang out with the Blackhawks, expecially when you're there." I winked

He laughed, "flirting again are you? Who would have thought you would be a flirter.. But anyways, so thats a yes?"

"I never said no! And haha, who knew?" We rolled our eyes and our food finally came out, it smelled wonderful, we quickly finished up eating, because I just noticed the time. I was an hour past my curfue, it was 12:30, my parents were going to kill me. I pulled out my wallet to pay for my food but before I could get out my cash Jon layed his card down on the table and the waitress came by and got it. I glared at him.

"You didn't need to do that."

"but I did."

"No, you didn't, I'm fine with paying for my own food."

"Okay, but not on your birthday, or when your with me. I won't let you." He smiled

"Ugh, I can't argue with you..."

He smiled in the victory of winning an argument, and I just rolled my eyes, We stood up, he left a tip, got his card back, and we left.

"So next stop, your aparment for right now?" He laughed, "I'm going to walk you home wether you like it or not."

"And again, I can't argue with that either, but yeah. Ya know, you don't need to do all this for me." He smiled at the ground and then looked at me.

"Yeah, I know, its just. I saw you earlier, and you were the only girl I noticed out of all of the people in the stands, and I wanted to know why, I've only known you for about 3 hours, but I think I'm starting to realize."

He looked down at me and smiled, I was so happy, and I had butterflies in my stomach from hearing this,

"You seem like such a great person, so carefree, and fun, shy but fun. Thats what I like, you're beautiful and have an amazing smile, and Your not afraid to speak your opinion. We have so manythings in common, its almost funny, but amazing. I'm really glad I came out of that locker room and follow something that kane was up to was the best decision I have ever made!"

We turned around the corner. Hearing all of those words comeout of his mouth made me blush like crazy, I felt like I was going to pass out. He called me beautiful and amazing. I felt like I was floating, he made me feel something I haven't felt for a while, like he had the missing puzzle peice and perfected the puzzle. I looked up at him as we walked into my aparment building and get onto the elevator and pressed the button for my floor.

"I hope I didn't freak you out." He smiled weakly

"No you didn't freak me out. Thank you Jon, its just that I've shut myself out of the world for so long, because I felt like I wouldn't be happy again, and then tonight, you come along, and at the game, I felt like I was reunited with something I lost a long time ago, I was so happy. And this whole night, I'm glad I listened to Lauren and followed her too. And when you said that to me, I felt like everything was perfect. It sounds stupid, but its true. Your such a great leader, you lead the best team I know of, and you have a huge heart. And tonight It really came out, its true. I felt like we really clicked when we met, your right about the things in common. Thank you so, so much." I felt happy getting that off. we got off on my floor and walked a little ways down to the end of the hall.

"Oh, by the way. I'm not shy," I smiled at him, "I was just nervous. I'll be better tomorrow." We turned so we were facing each other.

He smiled at me. "Don't be nervous."


He moved a peice of my hair behind my ear and it felt like electricity was hitting me, next thing I knew he was pulling me closer, wrapping his arms around my waist and instinctivly I wrapped my arms around his neck. He leaned in close to me and I felt his warm breath on my face, and I smiled. Then I felt soft lips brush mine, until they were locked together. I kissed him back and I could tell he was smiling, He then pulled away and looked at me, "Even better than I thought." He whispered to me and smiled.

"Even better than I thought." I copied him and looked into his eyes, he smiled at me and kissed me once more. We then pulled away from each other, I placed my hand of the door knob,

"So I'll see you tomorrow? Moving party at your place?" He laughed

I laughed back at him "Yeah, bring as many as you can, its gonna take a lot of work to please me and my room situations." He laughed, "I'm sure we'll be able to." He waved and started walking away.

"Oh, Jon?" I Whisper-shouted, he turned to look at me.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for dinner and everything, defiently made my night, thank you."

He smiled, "Your welcome, glad I could help, Goodnight Lilly."

"Goodnight Jon." And with that he watched me as I walked inside. It was dark, everyone was asleep, so I crept upstairs, into my room quietly, it was freezing in my room. I walked over to the vent and opened it, and then realized I had his Hoodie, oh well. I'll give it to him tomorrow. I took off my clothes and changed into my shorts, tank top, and threw Jon's hoodie on over my top and put on my slippers. I walked to the bathroom and took care of everything, and walked back to my room, put my hair in a pony tail, moved my dogs to the other side of my bed and put my face to my pillows and squealed. I was soo happy, I felt like I could fly, I got out my phone, texted Lauren, Amanda, and Tessa, and checked my messages and saw one from Jon.

Hey, I think you stole my jacket.. :P
Yeah, I noticed, sorry, I'll give it back tomorrow, I hope you don't mind me sleeping in it!

And with that I shut off my phone and set it next to me, turned off my light, pulled one of my dogs next to me so I could sleep, and fell asleep. Smiling and happy.. Goodnight Jon I thought to myself.
