A few days pass, and it is now November 22nd, which happens to be Christians' 15th birthday. The team had a game today, and no one knew it was his birthday so Christian just kept his mouth shut.

Once he woke up he walked into the kitchen and made himself some food because no one was up yet. His shoulder was starting to feel much better, which was awesome for him. He sat down on the couch with his cereal and started to watch some TV.

Jon woke up to the sound of the tv and walked into the family room, "What are you doing up so early?" He asked looking at his watch, "It's 3 in the morning."
"Sorry." Christian finished his cereal and turned off the TV then went to his room.
Jon walked into Christians' room, "I didn't mean to be rude. I was just asking a question."
"Its fine. I don't want to watch tv anyways." Christian said not looking up
"Christian I'm sorry." Jon continued to say
"Forget about it. It's fine. Honestly." Christian said, "I was going to go back to bed anyways. Night." He said as he laid down on his bed.
Jon turned off his lights and shut the door.

A few hours later, around 6 am Jon and Pat had to wake up for practice. Pat let Christian sleep while him and Jon got ready. Gina woke up throwing up.

"Patrick, I have something to tell you…." Gina said as she stood up
"Whats up?" Pat said
"I'm pregnant…" Gina said looking down.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS! I'M GOING TO BE A DAD!!!! JON GUESS WHAT!?!?!?! I'M GOING TO BE A DAD!!" Pat yelled and through his arms in the arm running around the house screaming.
Gina sat there laughing to herself , "I'm glad you're ok with this." She said as she got up and went to wake up Christian.
"Morning little man. We gotta get to the UC." Gina said
"Why is Pat yelling?" Christian asked sitting up
"Because you are going to be an uncle!" Gina said to him
The smile on his face dropped, "What?"
"I'm going to be having a kid. Your brother and I are getting married and having a kid together." Gina said to him.
"May you please get out? I need to get dressed. " Christian said
Gina looked upset, "Sure."

*Christians' POV*

My brother is going to be a father??? How in the hell did that happen! I was beyond shocked. I didn't know what to think. I was a little rude to Gina, and I didn't mean to be. I was just surprised I guess. I sat on my bed not wanting to go anywhere. All my friends back home in GA had been texting me all morning saying happy birthday and wishing me a great day. I wish I could've been in GA right now, with my friends and family, or at least with people who know it's my birthday….

*End of POV*

"Christian! Hurry up! We gotta get to the rink for warm ups!" Jon yelled
"Can I please not go today? I have other things to do today." Christian said to Jon
"Yeah like what?" Jon asked
"Stuff. Please talk my brother into letting me stay home today?" Christian begged
"You know he isn't going to let you stay here." Jon said and Christian looked upset, "But I'll try."
Jon walked over to Pat, "Hey um Christian wants to stay here today. I think you should let him. He isn't going to do anything, he can't cause his heart. Show the kid that you trust him." Jon said
"Fuck no! He didn't pass the drug test! He won't leave my sight till the day he turns 18." Pat said, "Christian! Get ready! We're going to the UC!"
"I don't want to go!" Christian said
"Too bad. Come on lets go." Patrick said as they all left for the rink.

*At Their Game*

The Game was tough. Sharp got the first goal, then the 2nd period the Bruins scored twice. We couldn't seem to get another goal. It was tough. They went home after the lose and tried to shake it off and get ready for their next game and put more effort into the game. Q told them they would be having strict practices for the next 3 days. Christian ended up going to the game just sitting in the family box sleeping the whole game. He really didn't want to be there, he wanted to be out celebrating his birthday, but no one knew so what was the point.

*Back Home*

Christian walked into the house and went to his room to go to bed. Jon walked straight to the shower to try and cool off. Patrick and Gina sat down in the Kitchen. Pat noticed the phone blinking for phone messages, he decided to play them back.
The first few ones were, "Good try tonight you guys! You'll get them next game!". Then Kane noticed one from his sisters and Cousins', "Christian! We love you buddy! Happy 15th birthday! Hope you did something fun and enjoyed your big day! Love you and miss you buddy! Can't wait to see you soon!"
"SHIT!" Pat yelled
Gina looked at him, "What?"
"Today is Christians' Birthday." Pat said, "How could I not have known that?"
"He didn't say anything. It's not your fault." Gina said
Jon walked into the room with a towel around his waist, "You alright Kaner?"
"No. Today was Christians' Birthday and I didn't know." He said sitting on the counter
"That's why he didn't want to go to tonights game! Don't worry about it you didn't know. Plus he didn't say anything." Jon said
"I should've known though.... Its too late to do anything now. How am I supposed to make it up to him?" Pat said clearly upset
"Christian! Come here!" Jon yelled

Christian opened his bedroom door and headed to the kitchen, "What?" He mumbled
Gina walked over with a cake and candles on it, "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Christian! Happy birthday to you!" They all started to sing
"Thanks." Christian said as he blew out the candles
"You seem upset. Whats wrong?" Pat said walking over to his brother
Christian looked down to the ground, "Nothing. Just forget about it. Please?"
Patrick looked at Gina and Jon.
"Hey Gina wanna go see Shawzy with me and tell him we have cake?" Jon said
"Sure lets go!" Gina said as they both left.

*With Pat and Christian*

Patrick walked over to the family room couch with his brother.

"Can we talk about something little man?" Patrick asked his brother
"I really don't want to." Christian said as he started to get up, but Patrick grabbed his arm
"Bud. Please I want to be able to help you." Pat said
"Its not like you can fix it." Christian said
Pat looked at him, "Never know unless you try. So whats wrong?"
"I miss mom and dad, and unless you know of anyway to bring them back, then I don't think you can fix my problem." Christian said as he stood up and left to his bedroom.

Patrick sat there not knowing what to do. He understood why Christian almost called him dad the other day now, he missed his parents. Pat often missed them, but he wasn't around his parents all that much growing up because of hockey. Christian was around them 24/7, his sisters were often at school or out at friends houses. It didn't help that he was in the car with them when they got hit.

Jon, Gina, Shaw, and Sharp walked in.

"Hey Kaner! How you doing?" Sharp asked
"Hey. Gina can you come here please?" Patrick said with a puppy dog face
Gina walked over and sat next to him, "Yes sweetie?"
"I love you." Pat said looking her dead straight in the eyes.
She looked into his crystal blue eyes and she saw that he 120% meant what he said, "I love you too." She said as she began to kiss him.
"Get a room!" Shaw said throwing a pillow at them and Patrick gave him the finger.

Pat picked Gina up without breaking the kiss and carried her to his room, then he shut the door.

"Their fucking." Sharp said
Jon looked at him, "No shit yah dumb ass! Wanna take Christian out for food somewhere?"
"Jon. It's 12:40.... There are no open food places." Sharp said to him
"I feel bad for the kid. He didn't do anything fun on his birthday. Just watched our practice and game." Jon said
Shaw had a smile on his face, "Can we go prank him?"
"Yeah!" Sharp chimed in.

They all got some balloons and filled them with water and flour. Jon had the air horn, and Shaw had the video camera and they all had scary masks on.
They slowly opened Christians' bedroom door and saw he was asleep with headphones in. Sharp paused the music, then picked a loud song and put the music up as loud as possible. Shaw was recording and once the music started to play Christian stood up and started freaking out, Sharp through the balloons at him and Jon blew the air horn.
Christian screamed and ran out of the room into the family room. His heart started to race and the pace maker went off. Christian was laying on the couch and instantly stopped and just laid there, the guys walked by him.

"You alright Christian?" Sharp asked
Christian shook his head, "Just give me a min."
"Whats wrong?" Jon asked
"Pace maker went off, and it kills." Christian said holding his chest, "Can one of y'all please get me a water or something?" Christian asked
Sharp got up and got him one, "Here you go bud."

The rest of the night Christian was in his room asleep and Sharp and Shaw went home. Jon fell asleep on the couch while Patrick and Gina fell asleep after they enjoyed themselves.
