The light of my life
four
Leaving Buffalo was the hardest decision ever for Annabelle. In Buffalo, she knew almost every place to go, but now she was going to a city she had never been in before.
Annabelle felt bad for leaving Patrick with just a letter, but she knew he wouldn’t let her go if she would have come there and tell him she was going to leave Buffalo.
Patrick had saved Annabelle’s life so many times, and Annabelle just couldn’t let him do that one more time. She didn’t have the heart to let him sit the whole night with her, making sure she wouldn’t do anything stupid. He didn’t care if he had a game the day after, he always wanted to make sure Annabelle wouldn’t do something she would regret. Patrick meant so much for Annabelle. To be honest, without him Annabelle wouldn’t be alive. Patrick was the only person Annabelle could trust, and also the only person she loved.
Annabelle had Patrick to thank for so much, he was her lifesaver. Too bad, she wouldn’t get the chance to tell him how grateful she is.
At least she thought so.
