Steph's POV
I stood by Sid outside the locker room. "Okay, Sid. Please, please, stay safe, Ok?" I said to him as we hugged. He nodded his head, and with one last kiss, left to go back out onto the ice. I headed back to my seat and held my breath, as I watched the puck drop, and Sidney wrestling for it. It was the middle of the third period, and Team Canada was in the lead.
Next thing I knew, Sidney, once again, scored, winning the gold for Canada again. I smiled as I saw him on the ice, not believing what had just happened. My view was obscured by his team mates running to congratulate him. I saw Sid come over to the glass, and gesture for me to come out onto the ice. I looked at him, puzzled, and asked him if he really wanted me to come down, and he nodded. I climbed past the rows and past the team bench, to where Sidney held my hand and led me out onto the ice.
"We did it!!" He yelled as i wrapped my arms around him tight. I laughed.
"Me and you. We did it!" I leaned into him for a kiss, and he picked me up off the ice.
"I love you, Stephie." He said into my ear.
"I love you too, I replied."
I smiled at him, and we both went over to where the medals were being handed.
