After I ate breakfast that Brayden made for me, I ran upstairs and hopped in the shower. I heard someone walk in the room and I knew it wasn’t my mom because she leaves early on weekdays for work. So obviously it’s Brayden.

After me and Brayden got dressed, and yes he wore the shirt I told him to wear, we hopped in the car and started driving. We had a lot of things planned for today but I wasn’t quite sure what we were doing. We pulled up out front of a Starbucks and walked in. Brayden and I both ordered a pumpkin spice latte. We sat down in the back and enjoyed our coffee together and discussed what we were doing the rest of the day.


“So what are we doing today?” I asked Brayden

“Since it’s our last day in Los Angeles, I was thinking we can drive around and see some of the landmarks, and come home and spend some time with your mom, maybe order something to eat”

“Sounds good with me! I’ll let my mom know.”


Brayden took my hand and shined me a smile. We took off and began our road trip. We started heading our way to the Hollywood sign. It was about a 30 minute drive from where we were. We cranked up the tunes and rolled down all the windows. This was a great start to our road trip.

We drove onto a landing which was right behind the Hollywood sign and parked our car. We got out of the car and gazed upon the beautiful view that California gave us. We took pictures of the view, the sign, and us together and decided to take a little break before we continued onto our road trip. Brayden and I lay on the hood of the car and looked up at the sky.
