Pizza and Old Friends
As Addison was doing what all the fans were doing. Watching and hoping that they will win this game, but one thing that was distracting her was Morrow was watching her. Addison had an close eye on Jon when he was on the ice. Taking her notes and pass them down to Stan. Nodding his head of the idea she just given to him. The game was going great and addison hoping that they don’t let the Oilers come back in this game. The score was 2-0, Jonny and Kaner score the first period. During the first intermission Addison was still taking on notes on the first half.
"Addison?" She look up and it was Stan and Morrow.
'Great.' She said to herself. She got up from her chair and shake Morrow's hand.
"This is Brenden Morrow and this is Addison Morgan." Once Stan left Morrow though that this is a good time to tell her.
"I heard that you and Toews are close friends so I wanted to say sorry about the hit. I didn't mean to hit him that hard and made him to not play for 2 weeks.”
"Thank you." She finally said after a small quiet moment. She does need to get over it, hockey is a fast, hard hitting game and that’s what got her drawn her into it.
"From what Stan told me about you, I didn't think that it was true."
"A lot of people are saying that and I am fine with that. I mean you want to stand out and a lot of people sometimes pass me of what I want to do for a living."
"What is that?" Addison wanted to tell him but she thinks that he's going to laugh at her.
"Do you want to be a GM player analysis all of your life?" She never though of that. She loves her routines she made herself here in Chicago for only two months.
"Well I do want to become the first women to be a GM for the NHL, but that will take its time and soon it will pay off in the long way." During the rest of the game Addison and Brenden talk the whole time during the game.
"So why are you so close to Toews?"
"Well we both love hockey more than anyone and we live next door. We help each other time to time and it made our bond stronger. Beside you want to get close to the captain if any of the teammates prank me."
"Has anyone done that yet?"
"Sharpie did, our first road game and he order a meal that should be for 3 people."
"Have you pull any back yet?"
"No I have been to busy with other things in mind."
At the end of the game they did win the game 5-1 and they stop the Oiler’s winning streak. They have three more away games in four days. Addison is glad that she pack a lot of clothes for this trip. There next game was in Calgary They won (3-2) thanks to Kaner’s winning goal, So that means Addison is sitting with Kaner on the way to Dallas. Kaner was telling all the great stories that him and Segan did while they were in Sweden during last years lockout. I knew that Segan was a party animal but with him and Kaner. The hangover movie can’t top what they did. This game was going to make Addison lose her finger nails. The Blackhawks had to go to a shoot out. Sharpie got one in but they had to go to round 11 to win the game. Addison fell back to her seat with Ben Smith got the winning shoot out goal. Now Addison can breath. Addison does love shoot outs but only when they win. Their final road game was in Phoenix and Addison was so glad this the last one until the game after Tuesday game when they play Dallas again. They handle the Coyotes pretty good on this game. Kaner got the first goal and the first star of the game. But Addison ask if she could sit next to Jon on the way home from Phoenix. Kaner was fine with it. Addison was doing her notes and quick when her eyes wouldn’t let her finish. She closed her book and put her head onto Jon’s shoulder. This seven game road trip made everyone really tired and missing their family. Addison just miss her bed that's all. She could picture herself in her bed typing her summary of how the games went for the team. Of how this seven road games helps bond the team. Jon wanted to spend just alone time with Addison. This whole trip they haven't been in the same room more than 10 minutes. Jon did hear that Addison is fine with Morrow from them talking during the rest of the game. Maybe this will be tonight that Jon will tell her about the letter. Jon was on google of how he should tell her but thinking of how bad that is, the he's looking things up on google for his problem. Maybe a nice date someone where. They touch back to Chicago around 3 in the morning. Jon drive Addison's car since Addison drove them just in case Jon's headaches came back again, but Addison was to tired to drive. Jon carried his and her bag up to their apartments. He kiss her goodnight and will see them in the morning.

"I though maybe you want to play Mario Cart with me." He was holding up one of the wii controllers. Addison loves playing that game.
"Sure come on in." Addison had the game and the wii. About an hour later Jon was getting pissed that a girl was beating her up at his own game.

"Ok, next game if I win I want you to my jersey tomorrow's game." Addison rolled her eyes.
"But people will think that I'm dating you."

"We are but we didn't want to tell anyone."

'Really?!' She scream in the bed covers.

"Well I can't since I am top less and I bet it's Kaner looking for you anyway." Jon went out to see who it was. When he open the door it wasn't Kaner. It was a guy.

"Yeah I there an Addison Morgan lives here?"

"Who was that?"
"There's a guy here name Dylan." Addison face light up when she heard that name. She ran out of the room and jump into his arms.

"I wanted to surprise you. Kennedy told me about your new job and I needed to see you to. She told me your address and when you were coming home."
"This is Jon my boyfriend. Dylan went to the same college with me in New York. We need to catch up on things. What are you doing tonight?" Jon's heart stop him because he wanted to tell her tonight.
"Well I just got here so I have no plans what so ever. Are you and Jon going to do anything?"
"No we just got back this morning and I wanted to watch a movie. I'll text you want resturant you want to go." Dylan nodded his head and gave her a hug.
"It was nice meeting you Jon." They both shook hands. Once he left, Jon was upset about this but he won't tell her.
"Man I am so happy that Dylan's here. I haven't seen him over a year now. Are you ok about this?" Addison was reading his face and she could tell he wasn't.

"Yes, but there was one time when I told him that I have a crush on him but I was drunk at the same time. I never did. Thank you for not jumping more into the story." Addison gave him a kiss on the lips.
"Jon I'm going to take a bath." Jon needs to tell you now.
"Addison there's something that I need to tell you and I knew this for a while now." Then Addison phone was ringing.
"Sorry Jon, it's Kennedy."
"Hey Kennedy." Then her face went from happy go lucky to shock.
"Oh my god, Jon and I are leaving right now. Which hospital is it? Ok thanks Kaner." She end the call with Kaner and grab her boots.
"Kennedy is in the hospital right now."
"Why?"
"She fells some wet steps and pass out." She grab Jon's hand and left her place. In the car Jon still have no idea what's going on. All he knows that Kennedy's at the hospital and Addison looks like she's going to have a mental break down. He though asking Addison what's going on but he's going to wait until they get more info when they reach there. Looking down witch room she was in, Kaner was outside of her room. His eyes were red from the tears in his eyes and still how tired he is from the road trip. Kennedy ran into his arms.
"What happen Kaner?" Addison ask in his ear.
"Kennedy was getting something in the garage and then I heard a loud noise. When I open the door she pass out. There was some blood the only thing I have though of was here."
"Everything will be fine." Jon place his hand on Pat's shoulder.
"How long do you think she will be in surgery?"
"We got here maybe an hour ago, so I have no clue and no one hasn't talk to me since I'm not family." Kaner was getting more piss that they won't give him anything and it's her girlfriend. They waited two more hours when they can see Kennedy in her bed wheeled into her room. Her crown was wrapped pretty good. This time they let them go in. Kaner went straight to her hand. Once they settle back into her room. Her doctor came in.
"So what happen to Kennedy?" Addison ask.
"Well Kennedy slip and feel pretty good on the back of her head and her foot broke from what she was carrying. We control the damage for her head and she will be alright. It will take time for her to wake up. When she does I need to look if she will have a concussion when she wakes up. For the broken right foot it will take up to 6-8 weeks to fully recover."
"Thank you." Kaner whisper and kiss Kennedy's hand. They want to stay there longer but the look on Kaner's face. He needs sleep from all of this.
"Pat come home with us." Kaner didn't want to argue with them because he didn't have the strength to do so. In the car was quiet, Kaner head was on the window pass out and Addison was thinking of Kennedy when her phone remind her that she has a text.
D: Have you though of anywhere?
"Shit I forgot about Dylan."
"You should go be with him. Pat needs to be with someone tonight."
"Thanks."
A: Sorry long story I will tell you at my favorite pizza place.
Addison text him the place and will met up in a couple of hours. When she came out of apartment she wanted to say good bye to Jon and Pat before she meets up with Dylan. Jon and Pat were just watching a hockey game. They play Dallas tomorrow.
"See you guys later then." She kiss Jon goodbye and left.

"Yeah I met him this afternoon. He's a great guy and I trust Addison more than any girl that I have dated.”

“I love London the most but I love being in the states. Addison are you ok?” Dylan could see that Addison’s mind was somewhere else but her body was there.
“After you left I got a phone call from Kennedy’s boyfriend and she’s in the hospital right now.” Dylan was in shock to hear about this.
“Why are we here then?”
“I didn’t want to cancel this, I miss you.”
“I miss you to but Kennedy’s in the hospital. Our friend is in the hospital, come lets go.” When they got back to the hospital. Still she hasn’t woken up yet. Dylan and I talk more at the hospital. Telling me stories of the crazy places he has been.
“So Jon, he plays for the Blackhawks right?”

This is definitely one of my favorite stories I've read, I think I would check back every couple days to see if there was a new chapter. You never disappointed! I can't wait for Kaner and Kennedy's story!!!!! In the mean time does anyone know any good Blackhawks/Stars fanfics I could read while waiting for the spinoff??
