I'm what

After the lost to the Flyers, Kaner wanted to stay with Jon and Addison’s place. Their next game was less than 19 hours and it was against the Blues. On the plane ride back to Chicago Kaner and Addison were brainstorming on how to ask Kennedy to move in with him. Addison could see it in Kaner’s eyes that he miss Kennedy a lot. He would do anything to make her happy. When they got to Jon and Addison’s place Kaner went to slept on to Addison’s bed.
“Should we tell him what we did in there?” Jon pointed at her old room.
“Right now I think he doesn't care at all, he just wants Kennedy back from Arizona.” Jon nodded his head because he would do the same thing if Addison was in Kennedy’s shoes. In the morning, Addison was the first person up from the trip. She wanted to call Kennedy to see how things are doing there in Arizona. She heard great things and worst things about Arizona.

In the morning Addison was the first one up and she grabs her macbook and forgot that she left her charger at her side of the place. She went over to her side very quiet so she won’t walk up Kaner. Walking into the kitchen she sees a Blackhawk mug laying there on the island.
‘Wonder why you are out here?’ she asks her self. When she turn around to put the mug back into it’s place. Addison heart went down to her stomach because Kaner was standing in the middle of the kitchen butt naked. She dropped the mug and broke into pieces and cover her eyes.
“Oh shit! I am sorry Addison!” Kaner turn around and ran back into the bedroom. Peeking through her fingers to see if it was close and clear. She grab her charger and ran back to Jon’s side of the place. Addison grab her phone and called Kennedy.
“You're lucky that I am up or I would have kick your ass.” Kennedy smiled on the phone.
“How’s Arizona?”
“Amazing and the weather, I could live here for the rest of my life. 80 with no wind or cloud in the sky but I do miss everyone back in Chicago. How’s Kaner doing because I am here is Arizona?” Addison Laugh because what just happen.
“What, what happen?”
“Well you never told me that Kaner sleeps in the nude.” Addison could hear Kennedy’s breath stop after she told her.
“Shit, I did didn't I. He does that when they lose a game. I have no idea why he does that. So you saw everything?”
“Yep I did.” Addison told her what happen and all that came out of Kennedy’s mouth was a laugh. Addison thought of a bad things that Kennedy would do to her.
“Addison I am fine I thought you already seen in naked from the dressing room from all of the games.”
“No I don’t because I wait for everyone to get dress. You have a pass to see Jon naked because what I just witness. When will you be back? I miss you!”
“When the season starts for the White Sox and the Cubs. For the White Sox it’s March 31 home and the Cubs the same date and they play against the Pirates. Man I forgot how long and boring baseball is and I miss you too.”
“Well we play the Penguins against on the 30 of March. So you should just fly to Pittsburgh then.”
“That’s a good idea. I just have to change flights and head there instead of going home.” Then Addison got an idea in her mind for Kaner to ask Kennedy.
“Hey I have to go and make breakfast so I will talked to you later.”
“Bye Addison.”

A couple of hours later , Addison was eating cereal, Jon was making breakfast and Kaner came into the kitchen into full clothes.
“Morning.” Kaner told both Jon and Addison. Addison looked up and Kaner before she took another spoonful of cereal.
“Morning.” Jon turned around and see the looked on Addison’s face.
“So I talked to Kennedy this morning.” Kaner was now pouring himself some OJ.
“Yea, I wanted to call her but I didn't know when she will be up.”
“Well she was thinking of changing her flight to come to Pittsburgh for the game on the 30 because the Cubs plays the Pirates on the 31 and we have that day off. So I was thinking maybe you should ask Kennedy to move in with her while we are at Pittsburgh. Take her somewhere nice around Pittsburgh. Text Paul Martin or Brooks Orpik any good places around there. I know that you're close to them because of Team USA.”
“Great idea Addison, by the way did you forget something over at your place?” Kaner gave her wink. Addison through her a death glare. Jon is always the middle child of this group friendship.
“Should I know about this?”
“I went over to the side of my place to grab the macbook charger and I remember I put it in the kitchen. When I walked into the kitchen, I see a Blackhawks mug on the island and when I turn around after I put it back. I saw Kaner in his birthday suit.” Kaner drank all of his OJ in one chug. Then Jon slap his forehead.
“I forgot to tell you that he does that. You should of let me grab it.”
“Well it’s too late now and you were sleeping when I needed the charger. Kennedy was fine with it tho. She said that I would have seen it earlier from all the time I have been inside the dressing room. Now I might have to burn the bed sheets and the bed in there.” She took a sip of her coffee. They knew that they had the morning off because the just played last night. Kaner went back to his place to change into a suit and all headed over to the UC. Addison hope that this will be a great game because it’s against the Blue. They hate the Blue more than they do with the Red Wings. Addison was getting up to the skybox when she got a text from Kennedy.
“I got my flight change and I am watching the game tonight. Go Blackhawks!” During the game Addison wanted to watch the whole game but she was worried how David Backes was going to do against Jon. Then the strange fall from Brenden Morrow landed on to Kaner’s leg. It took awhile for him to get off the ice. Addison wasn't just holding her breath of her, but Kennedy and the fans. Everyone loves Kaner and that he’s hurt like that makes all heart dropped to the bottom of their stomach. Addison knew that Kennedy is going to text her soon about what’s going on with Kaner. So she got out of her seat and walked down to the locker room. When the doctors told her what happen she didn't tell Stan first but Kennedy.
“Kennedy it’s his knee he won’t be back on the ice for the rest of the game.” Kennedy was quiet and all she wanted to do was to jump onto a plane, get back to Chicago for Kaner.
“Do you know how long he would be out?”
“They said it might be for the rest of the season, 2-3 weeks.I’m sorry Kennedy, you should see his eyes right now. They look so sad that he can’t play for the rest of the season, but they still have the playoffs.”
“I know I just wish that I was there for him.”
“Listen I have to go the boys are coming back into the dressing room and I don’t think any of them right now wants to see me because they know that I know what’s going on with Kaner.”
“Ok, talk to you later then.” Addison was almost out of the dressing room when Jon pulled on her arm.
“What’s going on with Kaner? They are saying that he’s not coming back to the ice.”
“I will tell you after the game. I need you to win this for him. It’s not bad but he’s out for 2-3 weeks.” She turn back around and went back up to the sky box. Addison told Stan what’s going on.

It’s been a couple of days since everyone knew about what’s going on with Kaner. Everyone is now talking about how the team is going to handle the rest of the season without Kaner. No one didn't talk about the huge win over the Blues or that it was Coach Q’s 700 career win for him. It was all about Kaner. Kaner moved in with Jon and Addison because Addison wanted to help him because of his knee. Kennedy calls everyday to see how he’s doing and that she miss him. The next games they were doing fine without Kaner. After the win from the Hurricanes the media was interviewing Jon about his goal of the night.
“How are you dealing with Patrick Kane not on the ice?”
“We are doing fine and we have to deal with this not just Kane but with any of our teammates when they get hurt. The next man steps up and helps us win games.”
“Kane used to be on your line but now onto the second line does that change the whole line up?”
“No not really, we change our lines up every game and during the game. We have to be quick and respond by getting the puck behind the other’s team net.” After more questions about Kaner and the game tonight. All Jon wanted to do was grab a beer. lay on the couch and watch the highlights of the game.

Addison and Jon were on the couch watching the highlights when Addison was typing up her summary of the game tonight.
“So I heard Teuvo Teravainen is going to play soon. Stan said he might play when you play against Dallas.” Jon nodded his head. When they got to their side of their place. Kaner only went to Addison’s side and not made any sounds.
“Should I go over there and see how Kaner’s doing?”
“I think you should because you’re his friend off the ice and I think he needs you right now.” Jon kiss Addison on the forehead and went to check on Kaner. He walked over to Addison’s side and see Kaner had the TV on but on mute. Kaner was on the phone with someone.
“I promise I will be in Pittsburgh when you fly in. I wouldn't miss it in the world for you. My knee still hurts and the docs said that I have to wait a couple of more weeks till I can get back on the ice. Man I forgot how I miss being on the ice.” Kaner spotted Jon leaning on the wall, watching Kaner on boyfriend mode.
“Hey Jon is over here and I think he wants to talk to me, I love you and miss you. Bye.” When he got off the phone, he looked at Jon waiting for him to saw something.
“What do you want Jon?”
“Addison was kinda worried about you, you haven’t made a peep since coming over here.”
“Well I was on the phone with Kennedy. I didn't know that I could miss a girl for fuck sakes.”
“If I was in your shoes right now I would ask the same way.”
“I can’t wait to see her in Pittsburgh. See also told me that she has big news when she sees everyone in Pitt.”
“Beer?” Jon walked over to the frig.
“Sure.” Jon text Addison that he’s staying over with Kaner for the rest of the night and come over late.
Today around the UC was a big buzz that Teuvo was going to play his first NHL game. Addison met his for the first time, he was shy, sweet and scared for what’s going to happen tonight. Jon wanted to get a hot dog by Sharpie’s place.
“You want a hot dog at 11:30 you are you?!” Addison was confused she thought Jon hates hot dogs.
“For some reason I am craving one, do you want one?”
“Sure.” They walked over to the hot dog place and grab a couple of them, Jon was watching Addison taking a bite out of her hot dogs.
“I don’t know know you do that but it’s turn me on.”
“Well let’s get home then.”

During the game Kaner sat with Addison during this game. They were both watching how Teuvo was doing.
“He skates like you do Kaner. He’s a little Kaner.” Addison push Kaner a little because he was blushed a little that someone looks up to him.
“Shut up. Have you talked to Kennedy lately?”
“No not yet, I know that you have because Jon told me what happen when he went over there.”
“He’s an open book for you isn't he?”
“Well that last time he didn't tell me anything, I wasn't happen at him for what he did and I would do the same thing if Kennedy was in your state.”
“Good point but she told me that she has some big news when we see her in Pittsburgh. Has she told you anything?”
“Nope nothing.” Then there was something wrong with Addison’s stomach. She got out of her seat quickly and ran into the bathroom.When she came back to her
seat Kaner was looking at her closely.
“What’s wrong?”
“I think it was the hot dog Jon and I had for lunch today. I think it didn't settle in after Jon and I ... um.”
“I don’t what to know what you and Jon did after lunch beside I want to keep my dinner.”
“Shut up!”
