I'm what

Jon and Addison were in the sky box waiting for the team to go out and skate. They were both on waiting for Kaner to come and join them. Addison tried to text Kennedy to see how she was doing but no text at all. Jon was trying to get a hold of Kaner but he was the same. She looked over at Jon wondering what’s going on with Kaner. He said that he’s fine and would meet them up at the UC yesterday. Addison and Kaner have been close as friends since she has been dating Jon, with the job and also dating Kennedy.
“Has anyone seen Kaner?” Stan came into the skybox. They both shook their heads.
“Well he isn’t down in the dressing room and I can’t get a hold of him on his cell. Addison will you go and see if he’s at home?” Addison was now becoming worried about Kaner and she wouldn’t say no to this.”
“I will Stan.” She got up from her chair and Jon grabbed her hand.
“Just be safe would you.” Jon had worried in his eyes too.
“I will, be back soon if not I will text you.”

When Addison got to Kaner’s living room, she could hear him sleeping. Walking closer to the couch almost scared to see what’s on the couch. Was it just him not harm or with someone I have no idea who. When she looking over the couch she let go of her breath with relief. Kaner was in his clothes that he was wearing last night with no puck bunny under his arm.
“Kaner.” Addison nudge him soft but quickly. His eyes open in shock of who was in his place.
“Oh.. it’s just you.” He sat up and rubbed the sleep off his face.
“What are you doing here?” Addison sat on the coffee table to get a good look at his face.
“I’m here to see if your still alive. You were suppose to come to the UC to watch the team skate. Jon, Stan and I got worried when you didn’t showed up when you normally do. What did you do when you left my place?” Kaner didn’t say anything but pointed out the kitchen. She got up and walked into the kitchen. The kitchen was the cleanest room that she has been in since she met Kaner. But something was off, on the kitchen Island there was full of alcohol but the closer you look at the bottles. None of them were even open but one and it was his favorite, Jack Daniels.
“After I though cleaning up the kitchen it would help me calm down. 2 hours of fucking cleaning and I couldn’t get the fight out of my head, though of getting something that might help the edge off. So I went to the liquor store and bought all of my favorite.” He walked over to the Jack Daniels and pop off the lid.
“Kennedy has change me a lot and the smell of this made me sick.” He walked over to the sink and started to pour it down the sink.
“When ever I am with her I am on cloud nine and I didn’t know that it was going to hit me this hard when she broke up with me.” When every last drop of Jack Daniels was gone, he sent it down and tried to hold back his tears.
“Kaner you weren’t the only one that change in this relationship. She did too, if she didn’t change then she wouldn’t have come and told you off. What Kennedy did right there was to defend her self which that never happens. I think that Kennedy was scared to move in with you. She has been alone her whole life and no one really didn’t care for her. Kennedy only had me when we were kids. No boy in school never looked at her because of what happen to Shawn. Everyone changes in relationship trust me because if I look back before I have met Jon, I would be shock if Jon didn’t change anything to me.” Kaner let out a tear and Addison grab a hold of it.
“I bet you right now Kennedy didn’t showed up to work today and sitting at home watching reruns of Vampire Diaries. I will go and talked to her today, right after practice. Stan wants you there right now so get change into something different and lets go.” Kaner went up to Addison and kiss the top of her forehead.
“Thanks Addison. I’m so glad that we are great friends.” Addison gave him a small smile. When Kaner was changing. She text Jon that she has Kaner and they are coming soon.

When they got into the sky box Stan didn’t say anything because all he cared about that he’s now safe and sound. During practice Addison keep checking on Kaner every 5 seconds.
“Addison I am fine now, thank you for looking out for me.” He patted her arm.
“I know I’m just glad that your alive.” After practice was over Addison told Jon that she was going over to Kennedy to see how she’s doing. Kaner is going to hang out with Jon for the rest of the day. Addison was knocking on Kennedy’s door till she opened it.
“Kennedy it’s me Kaner is not with me.” She didn’t hear anything. So she grab the door handle and was surprise that it was unlock. Walking into her place, she could hear the TV on and she was right. Vampire Diaries was playing and Kennedy was watching and eating ice cream. Addison walked over in front of Kennedy’s view of her TV.
“Addison I am not in the mood to talk.”
“We’ll I am and I need to talk to you right now. So would you please turn this off you have seen this episode already.” Kennedy rolled her eyes and turn off the tv.
“How’s Patrick?”
“Sharpie is fine, why are you worried about him?” Kennedy took a deep breath because she’s not strong enough to say Patrick’s nickname.
“Kaner is the same way as you are right now. I had to get him from his place because he was missing out on watching practice with Jon and I.” Addison told Kennedy what Kaner told her.
“He loves you but he’s your boyfriend and what you did was out of line. You shouldn’t have hit him. He cares for you a lot. That he told me that he’s always on cloud nine when he’s with you, I would be the most happiest girlfriend in the world right now. Kaner would do anything in his power to make you happy. Kaner had a right to be
mad at you. You should have told him about the jobs before you announced the news in Pittsburgh, not to mention
you should have never agreed to move in with him.”
“I couldn’t say no because I was scared of what he would do if I said no.”
“Well then you should have told him about the jobs then. He was asking me question about how he should asked
you to move in with him. Kaner was all happy when he figure out what he should have done. I know that you love
Kaner more than with Shawn but right now you are being so selfish and thinking only of yourself and how you feel.
If you told this to Kaner he might find a way to help you get one of those jobs. What I think you should do right
now, is change and get your ass over to Kaner’s and say that your sorry and work this shit out.” Addison walked in
to Kennedy’s room and grab some clothes from her closets. She threw them on the bed and grab Kennedy out of the couch.
“I’ll be waiting out here.”
Addison and Kennedy were outside of Kaner’s place. Addison was hoping that this will go her way right now.

Once Addison opens the door. Kennedy could smell and see of how clean the place looks right now.
“Kaner.” Addison said really loud to make sure that Kaner was at home. Kennedy walked over to the porch, Kaner
was outside talking on the phone and so Kennedy went outside. She spotted Kaner wearing a knee brace
and she did wanted to know how his knee was doing so she waited for Kaner to get off the phone.
When Kaner spotted Kennedy coming outside, he wanted to hang up on Jessica and was in shock that she came
over.
“Hey.” Kennedy broke the silence.
“You look nice today.”
“I’m sorry that I slap you. No one shouldn’t get slap for something that they didn’t do. I was out of line on that and
you were right that I should have told you before I told everyone in Pittsburgh. All I was thinking was myself and
you were here alone with a bad knee when all I wanted to do was to help you in every other way.” Kennedy

step closer to Kaner.
“Thank you for Apologizing to me. That means a lot to me, I told this to Addison but ever since I met you that I was
alway on cloud nine when I am around you. I want you to be happy and succeed without me helping you because
I know deep down you want to show people you can make it without your gorgeous boyfriend helping you.” Kennedy rolled her eyes and pushed Kaner a little.
“But I will do anything for you to get that job for LA.”
“Why do you think I want to go to LA?”
“Well I think you wanted to go to LA.”
“No I like the weather but the traffic, a lot of people and I don’t know how you will do being away from your family during the summer. Beside ESPN was a better onions for us because it was closer to Buffalo and your family. ESPN is letting decide if I want to take the job. They just want me there for the summer and then I am back in Chicago for the rest of the time.”
“Why only during the summer?”
“I have no clue. Kaner I love you and I will do anything to make you happy too.”
“Well I think you should take that job."
