I'm what

Right before Addison and Jon headed down to the red carpet for the NHL awards. This is going to be the first time that Addison and Jon will be in pubic as a couple of Addison need to make sure that her dress was perfect for tonight. Jon was talking on the phone with his mom for thanking her for taking Juliette back to Winning Peg and that they will be back in a couple of weeks after the awards.
“Wow Addison that dress is amazing on you.” Jon came back into the bedroom to finish getting ready to.
“Thanks and you look sexy in your tux.” Jon could see on her face that she was kinda of nerves of whats going to happen.
“Don’t worry about anything of what’s going to happen. Beside it should be me being nervous about tonight.”
“You will do great tonight and will win lots of awards like Crosby is going to get tonight.”
“Well what if I don’t?”
“If you don’t I will give you an award tonight after we go and party.” Jon did like the sound of that.

When they got down to the red carpet Addison stayed over where the family and friends were hanging around while the players are being interview for the show. Addison got in time to talked to P.K Subban, they hasn’t talk since Sochi. While she was waiting for Jon to be done, she met Crosby’s sister Taylor. Taylor looks just like Sidney it’s not even funny.
“Wow, Addison you look great in that dress.” Crosby gave her a hug.
“Thanks and not to shabby with you too. How’s your break?”
“Good, I was over in LA for a couple of weeks. Just working out and needed to get some sun.”
“I hear you but we are going to Winning Peg in a couple of weeks.” Then Crosby spotted the ring on her finger.
“By the way Jon did tell me this but I totally forgot. Congrats for your engagement.” Addison shoed his the ring a little closer.
“Thanks.”
“Any date yet?”
“Nope not yet.”
During the whole show Addison almost fell asleep during the show because of how boring it was. Also that Jon didn’t win any awards tonight. Addison did feel sorry for Jon, getting nominated for all of the awards and didn’t get a single one. So right after the party, they went back to their hotel and change for the after party. They didn’t say a word to each other because she knew how upset Jon was being right now.
When they walked down to the after party, they were having since a great time that they didn’t know it was getting close to 2 in the morning. Addison was tipsy and Jon only had a couple of beers. They were about to leave and go back in the hotel, Addison was getting hungry.
“Let’s go to the Waffle House!” She grabs Jon’s hand and they spotted the Waffle House across the street.
“No, let’s call room service and we can get waffles.” Jon didn’t want to go anywhere else.
“Please it will be quick I promise.” It’s been awhile since Jon has seen Addison this so tipsy.
“Fine.” Addison jump like a little girl when she they are going to the Waffle House. When they walked in the Waffle House. She couldn’t wait to get some waffles. While they were waiting for their waffles. Jon was playing with phone and on his other hand was a cup of coffee. Addison was playing around with her fork, trying to put the fork between her upper lip and the bottom of her nose. Then she went on to try to put the spoon on her nose, then a spark came into her mind.
“You know we should do before we leave Vegas?” Jon looked up from his phone and looked at Addison.
“What’s on your mind?”
“We should get marry here.”
“Why should we do that? It’s cheesy doing that.”
“No it won’t be and I’m already getting sick and tired of people asking us questions when we don’t know the answer. When’s the date, where is it going to be at or have you pick out the colors and what about the dress?”
“Well since we have time right now. Beside I think my mother and Kennedy will kill us. When do you want to get married?”
“This summer.”
“Small or big?”
“Small.”
“Colors?”
“Red, Black and White.”
“Guest?”
“All Blackhawks, Team Canada, family and friends."
“Where?”
“I have no clue.”
“Well Mom said that my place in Winning Peg it’s a great place to do that. Having a big back yard with a great view will be perfect and the lake too.”
“We should get fireworks too. At night then we can have a firework show. We should also get some tattoos.” Now Jon knew that she was drunk.
“Tattoo?”
“Yea I saw this somewhere I dont remember where but the inside of our ring finger and it’s our first letter of the name.” Addison grabbed Jon’s left hand and showed where she was thinking.
“Right there.” She smooth the inside of the bottom of the ring finger.
“You would get an A for Addison and I would get J for Jon. Would that be cool?!” When our food was here Addison was very quiet because she was stuffing her mouth with all of the food from her plate. They were full and couldn’t wait to get back to their room and Addison totally forgot about everything they talked about at the Waffle House. Before they went into their room, Addison grabs Jon’s shoulder.
“Jon I didn’t care if you win any award tonight. I am glad that I was here with you.”
“Thanks.”

In the morning, Jon could hear Addison in the bathroom. This was pay back from last night. Jon got a text from Crosby.
“Want to have lunch with me and Taylor if you two aren’t hungover.” Jon got out of bed and went to check up on Addison. She was not near the toilet but she grabbed her pillow and started to lay down in the big bathtub.
“What are you doing in there?”
“I got hot and the bathtub was nice and cold.” Addison had a wet towel over her eyes.
“Are you well to have lunch with Crosby and Taylor this afternoon.”
“Maybe.”
“I’ll call the front desk to get some hangover pills.” Addison gave Jon a thumbs up. Then Jon came back with Advil and water. He sat down next to Addison while she took the pills from him.
“So, do you even remember from last night?”
“Some parts here and there. I remember the boring award show which you didn’t get anything, the after party and the smell of waffles. Did we go anywhere for waffles?”
“Yes we did. You beg me that we should go to The Waffle House and so we went. Then you had some crazy ideas.”
“What crazy ideas?”
“Get married here and get tattoos.” When she heard the crazy ideas she sunk more into the bathtub and groan.
“But we did talked about the wedding.”
“We did?” Then Jon told her about the ideas that they had last night.
“For being drunk I like that all of the ideas.”
“Good me to.”
“Text Crosby that we should have lunch with him and Taylor.” Before Jon left the bathroom.
“July 19. That would be great for us.”
“I’ll call mom then."

Notes

I can't believe that one more chapter before this is all over. Dont' worry there will be a spinoff for Kennedy and Kaner. Jon and Addison will be in there and so will be the wedding.
