The boys must have been mad at me for making them skate laps because I was the prime target at practice. It seemed like 5 seconds I was getting checked into the boards or getting tripped by someones stick. I was just about to drop gloves with Geno when I heard a very high pitched voice screaming something from the bench.

"SID YOU KNOW YOU HAVE TO STAY WITH GENO. YOU GUYS PLAY YOUR BEST WHEN YOUR TOGETHER. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD...FLOWER! STAY IN THE DAMN NET! STOP SKATING AROUND LIKE AN ADHD CHILD!!!" Leah screamed while throwing her arms up in disgust.

this was enough to make all of our jaws drop. Partly out of surprise and partly out of intimidation. That girl had a set of lungs on her, that's for sure.

"You guys know she's right" Dan said while trying to hold in his laughter. "You should really listen to this one. She knows her stuff"

The rest of the practice went surprisingly well. I listened to Leah and stuck with Geno and ended up getting 3 goals right past Flower.


"atta boy....atta boy" Leah said to each of us as we made our way off of the ice and back into the locker room. All of the guys smiled at her, but one guy stuck around longer that i wanted him too.

"you come to locker room. You see my muscles under sweater" a very sweaty Russian said to her while using his best smile and wink

"sorry buddy, You smell like a sock and i can only imagine what that room smells like right now" she said.

Thank god, the Russians charm isn't working for once.

"you come around. I know it. You be my wife one day" Geno said while using yet another wink as he walked out of sight.

"Do these guys not realize that I'm Marios daughter? How could they not remember me?" Leah said while putting her hands on her hips.

"well in defense to the guys, they haven't seen you in years and there are a lot of new guys on the team now. Plus with all the headshots we get, sometimes they forget who they are" I said while running a towel over my face.

"I have to go shower real quick and then we can go grab lunch. Sound good, Cali girl?" I said while smirking at the last part.

"please, take your time. You smell the worst out of all of them. And if you keep calling me that, i'll make sure you'll never be able to have kids" she said while pocking me in the shoulder .

"ew, now i smell like a Sidney" she added while i walked into the locker room, busting up laughing.

"You know, i think Geno has a crush on you" a soaking wet Flower said while he was standing over me, nearly scaring me to death.

"Jesus flower, where did you come from?!" I said while getting up from my spot on the hallway floor

"well, i came from my momma in Canada" a slightly confused Flower said while he itched the top of his head.

I laughed harder than i should have at the fact that he didn't get the joke because before i knew it, that damn Russian was standing next to me, trying to hold my hand.

"wife...why you no want to hold hand with me?" A confused Geno said while giving me his version of puppy dog eye....which are so adorable on him.....

"Geno, I'm not your wife. I'm only 20, dude" I said apologetically .

He must have gotten the hint because he turned to talk away. Of course not without turning around again just to wink at me.

"There you are!" I said in Leahs direction while turning around the corner of the hallway.
"I hope the guys didn't give you too much shit while i was gone"

"no, just Geno again" she sighed lightly while giving me a "help" look

My face dropped. I needed to warn her about him, and fast before he won her over like he always does with his..."prey"

Sorry this is so short. I have a habit of writing many short chapters but I'm trying to write much longer chapters. I don't even think anybody is reading this...but thank you so much if you are! It would mean a lot to me if you could vote/comment on this so I know if I should keep going or not! :)

Also, sorry for making Geno a bad guy. I don't think he is a bad dude in real life!
