Heather woke up still in the arms of Beau and Bortz. She managed to sneak out to check her phone. Nothing from James. She sighed and walked to Beau's livingroom. She was going to call him as her phone lit up. Sidney. She debated answering but in the end chose to pick up the phone. "Sid" she said happily.

"Hey Heather. I was hoping you'd be up." He said to her. "I umm went out with Vanessa last night." He said to her.

"Oh really?" Heather said pretending to be unaffected. In reality she was jealous. Jealous as hell that her Captain could be with somebody else. "So how did it go?"

"She's nice, she knows what this is and nothing more." He said to her. "I told her about you." He said. "She understands her role in this whole thing. Sid the Kid's pretend girlfriend"

"So she's basically me just no sex." Heather sounded disappointed.

"I guess so." He said to her. "I would never have done this if you..." He started

"I know. I know." Heather said a tear forming in her eyes. "Sidney I think I might have made a mistake." She said with a deep breath.

"Mistake?" He sounded confused. "What do you mean?" He asked.

"Sid all you've done is try to win my heart and I keep pushing you away." Heather said tears falling. "I was so upset at the whole suspension thing. I let that dictate my heart. But I really do love you Sid." She said.

"Then just say the words Heather. I would make you so happy." He said pleadingly.

"I...I can't. I can't explain why I just can't." Heather said hating herself for not talking about it. "Just give me time Sid." She said.
