When Michelle got on the subway at her stop she was confronted with a sea of Blackhawks jerseys. Some 88's, a few 10's the odd 7 or 81 was there as well. The number that always stuck out, that always made her smile was 19. The sight of the Toews name stitched into the fabric made her a bit giddy inside. 'My boyfriend' she thought proudly. 'If only they knew'. Of course likely nobody knew yet. She and Johnny had never outed themselves as a couple to the public. Sure family, friends and some teammates or coworkers knew; but that was hardly the show that he had put on with his ex girlfriend Lindsay at the Stanley cup after winning. She liked that things were between them, but knew it was a matter of time. The start had been Delia letting things slip to Lana Simmons. Would that make a difference? She had to wonder.

Jonathan had been very strict about what she could and couldn't wear to the game. He wanted her to give off an air of class, not desperation or like she was just some puck bunny chasing her next hockey player hoping to get them to go down into her bunny hole. He wanted her to appear classy so she wore dark wash skinny jeans with a loose, lace trimmed peasant blouse that was off the shoulders, long hair drawn into a side ponytail and a pair of Louboutin sparkly No Prive's that Jonathan had bought for her as a gift when she got from Tazer after she had scored the gig at Bruno's. They added 5 inches to her petite 5'1" frame and Jonathan knew that part of being a serious WAG was having the hair, the clothes, the everything. Getting off the subway Michelle made the short walk to the arena. She already had her pass that got her pretty much anywhere she wanted in the arena. She walked up to the box and was greeted at the door by Abby Sharp looking ready to burst at any minute.

"Hiiiii!" She said giving Michelle a hug. "Come meet the girls! Michelle this is Amanda Bickell you obviously know who she's with, Chaunette Shawzie's fiancée, Kelly lee Keith and Dayna Seabrook; some of the others will be around later. Girls, this is our fearless leader's new lady love Michelle" she said with a smile

. "I love your shoes!" Amanda said instantly pointing down at her sparkly heels. "Those are so difficult to find!" "Thanks." Said Michelle with a smile.

"Johnny bought them for me in Winnipeg as a present" she said perhaps realizing she may have said too much.

Dayana and Kelly Lee exchanged a bitchy glance and joint "mmmhmm" from their lips making Michelle nervous.

"Do you enjoy being a WAG? Do you like getting fancy gifts?" Asked Dayna feeling her out for an opinion.

"Umm not really" she said nervously. "It's really the only major gift he's got me so far" suddenly she wished that she has stuck to a nice plain black pair of heels.

"Come on, you live with him in his plush condo. I'm sure he's not making you help pay the mortgage." Dayna said cornering her just a little more. "It's not like you have to pitch in and work" she added taking a drink of her Cosmo.

"Actually I do work" said Michelle with a smile. "I'm a fitness instructor and trainer at Bruno's downtown" Michelle said proud of herself.

"She's fabulous at it too. I hear that she may even be on TV for it" Abby said rising to her defence.

"Bruno's?" Said Kelly Lee scrunching her forehead and giving a laugh "please everybody knows that the guys can get whatever they want out of that place. It's free publicity" Dayna and Kelly Lee walked away dismissively and sat at the bar. Abby, Amanda and Michelle went and sat in the seats at the front of the box.

"Don't worry about them." Said Abby. "Nobody is good enough for Jonathan in their books. The important thing is Johnny loves you"

"He must to buy you those Shoes!" Said Amanda smiling. "That or you're really good in bed" she said giggling.

A bit from column A, a bit from column B" said Michelle smiling

It was the third period with 40 seconds to go. The hawks were tied with the wings 1-1. After a face off in the hawks zone, the wings coughed up the puck to Bickell who passed it through the neutral zone to Pat Kane who took a shot from the point that was deflected to Toews and shot it back in from a one timer. The crowd went wild as the sound of Chelsea Dagger filled the arena. Amanda and Michelle hugged each other in celebration. After a replay on the video screen of the goal they showed a split screen of Amanda and Michelle hugging and Jonathan on the bench looking up watching. Sitting next to Bickell on the bench he could be seen pointing to the screen saying 'that's her' to Bickell who seemed to respond with a 'wow'

"I think Bryan approves" said Amanda laughing. The seconds on the clock ticked down and the Hawks won 2-1.

"Well girls I'm heading home" said Abby. "This little girl has had enough" she said rubbing her belly saying her goodbyes to the girls. Amanda and Michelle went down immediately to the players lounge to wait for their men. They were the only WAGs in the room at the moment and seemed to be getting along well. As expected, Jonathan was shirtless and still in his hockey gitch doing interviews while the other guys were getting changed to go. Sensing an opportunity for some fun, Sharpie called over Brent Seabrook.

"Seabsy! Come see this" he said hurrying his friend over.

"Umm ok" said Seabrook a bit confused as that stood in the doorway to the lounge watching Amanda and Michelle continue in conversation.

"Now there's a piece eh?" Said Sharpie to his friend. "Think she's single?" Knowing that his friend was nothing but faithful to his wife Abby Brent was in a bit of shock. "Well yeah, she's hot but you're married man."

"Not for me, Hey Saad" he called over the young single Brandon Saad who walked over. "What do you think of her?" He asked.

"She's hot." He said

"Interested? I'm sure we can make introductions." Said Sharpie smiling everybody was looking at him strangely as they weren't sure why all of a sudden Sharpie was playing matchmaker.

"But that's--" started Bickell who had come over to join the commotion. Sharpie clapped a hand over Bryan's mouth before he could spoil the fun. Bryan walked by and joined his wife on the couch. Sharpie walked in

"Michelle always good to see you" he said to her as she rose to give me a hug. "Just go with it " he whispered in her ear during the hug.

"You too Sharpie" she said smiling.

"So we were just in the dressing room and my good friend Brandon here was wondering if you're single" sharpie said with a smile. "Isn't that right Brando?"

"Ummm...yeah. Would you umm like to come out with us tonight?" He asked her nervously.

"Oh wow, sounds like fun." Said Michelle flirtatiously. "But I have to warn you, I'm not much of a drinker. I can't hold my liquor and become a little crazy after a few drinks" she said walking her fingers up his tie. Brandon took this as an invitation and put his arm around Michelle.

"Well don't worry, I'll take you home...I mean i'd be happy to help look after you" he said leaning in closer with a suddenly confident smile on his face placing his other hand on her knee. Sharpie sat there grinning like the Cheshire Cat.

"What the hell is going on?" Said Jonathan coming into the room with Kaner. Tazer's shirt was still undone at the collar and his tie was laying around his neck loosely. "Because it looks like you're flirting with my girlfriend" said angrily taking a step towards Saad.

"Dude I swear I didn't know." Saad said raising his hands innocently as the guys not in on the joke looked between their fuming captain and Saad.

"Well now you do so back the hell off" said Jonathan. Sharpie started laughing and clapping his hands at the joke.

"Nice acting 'Chelle" he said giving her a hi 5.

"You were in on this?" Asked Jonathan raising an eyebrow looking a bit upset.

"Oh come on Johnny," she said looking up at him wrapping her arms around his waist. "You thought it was funny when we did it to Kaner."

"Hey! You said you wouldn't tell!" Said Kaner with a slight whine in his voice.

"What? I did an unoriginal bit?" Patrick Sharp asked Michelle.

"You should've been there" she said recounting the story that had the whole team in stitches. "So no hard feelings Brandon?" She asked.

"No, but I still do need a date for tonight" he said.

"Don't even think about it" Jonathan said narrowing his eyebrows.

"Oh yes" said Seabsy "He has to take his girlfriend home, have a serious night cap and then perhaps some serious, boring sex" he said with a laugh.

"Hey, the sex is not serious and boring" Jonathan said pointing at Seabrook. "It's pretty awesome actually" he said looking down at Michelle.

"Well yeah, when you've got a firecracker like that" said Bickell which earned a light punch in the arm from his wife Amanda.

"I mean for him. You're my firecracker babe" he said palming her face.

"Yeah yeah." She said rolling her eyes "I saw your little 'wow' over her on the replay" she said slightly upset.

"Can I help it if the man knows how to pick girls?" He asked his wife.

"Bicks, go home before your wife kills you first" said Sharpie. -----

In the car on the way home Jonathan was quiet not saying much. "Babe you ok?" Asked Michelle putting a hand on his knee.

"Not really. Did you really think it was ok what happened tonight?" He asked her.

"Flirting with Saad?" She asked.

"Well that and the whole serious thing. I mean I thought it might outgrow that this season" he said staring at the road intensely.

"Mon chere," she started "They don't get to see the fun Johnny that I do." She said brushing the back of her hand across his face. "They don't know the Johnny who took my class just to talk to me, or the one who took me to all of his favourite spots in Winnipeg,"

"That's not fun, that's just being a good boyfriend" he said shrugging off her words

. "Or the Johnny that made love to me on the beach after a moonlight picnic" she said with a grin

"Ok I'll give you that" he said with a smile as he pulled into their parking spot in the underground parking. "I had sand in my ass for days" he said laughing.

"I love your smile." She said to him grabbing both sides of his face kissing him deeply.

"So how do you feel about fooling around in parking garages he asked wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
