Michelle had had a great time filming her class for TV. Tazer agreed to take the class that day as it the week before the season started for real. He could always do with more conditioning this close to the start of the season. Things went off without a hitch. It wasn't the part that Michelle was worried about. No, that part was today. Being on live tv, no reshoots or take 2's.

"Babe you want me to drive you to the studio?" Jonathan asked still weary from lack of sleep as it was 6am. On top of that it was game day. The first game of the regular season. "I can't stay but I'll make sure that it's on at the rink." he said to her. He had to go in early today to film some interview spots for the new season.

"Sure" she said with a smile trying to hide her disappointment. "Tell the boys I will be quizzing after the game" she said with a smile. They walked down to Jon's car hand in hand and began the short drive to the studio. Jon had on a Bauer hoodie with the hood overtop of his Blackhawks hat and a pair of dark sunglasses. He was in no mood to be noticed this morning.

"Babe can you put these in the glove box?" He said taking off his sunglasses handing them to her.

"Sure" she said. When she opened it up to put the glasses away she saw a distinct blue box. Every girl's best friend Tiffany. "What's this?" She asked as he stopped outside of the studio.

"open it" he instructed with a grin. It was a platinum and diamond infinity pendant with a pair of quarter carat diamond solitaire stud earrings. It was met with a gasp from Michelle's mouth as she was speechless. "Happy three month anniversary ma belle." He said taking the box from her putting the necklace on around her neck.

"I oh my goodness I almost forgot!" She said giving him a kiss before putting the earrings on in her ears. She reached in her bag to get his present that she had been hiding away from his prying eyes. "It's not nearly as extravagant as what you got me" she said blushing feeling a little embarrassed. It was a pair of cuff links that looked like an ice surface with the Blackhawks logo in the middle. "I noticed that you had shirts that you need them for that you never wear" she said with a small smile.

"I love them" he said cupping her face with one hand "Bon chance ma belle" he said giving her a kiss goodbye before she exited the car into the studio.

Michelle sat in hair and makeup getting her finishing touches before her segment. A production assistant came in wearing a headset looking very serious and tense.

"Michelle, I'm Blaine. I will be assisting on your segment." He said holding out his hand.

"Hi Blaine. How are you" she said shaking his hand while a makeup artist touched up her makeup with powder.

"Great formalities over" he said in a serious tone. "Wardrobe sent this down, they'd like you to wear it today" he said holding up a female Towes jersey that was form fitting that had a deep V neck that was done up with laces.

"I umm...I don't think so . See Johnny is pretty superstitious about his girlfriend wearing his jersey on game days" she said biting her lip.

"Well the producer wants you to wear it. I suggest that you suit up if you want to keep this bit" he said crossing his arms after handing her the jersey.

"watch your makeup sweetie" said the middle aged makeup artist worried that her work of art was going to be ruined.

Michelle hastily put it on leaving little damage in her path. "Happy?" She asked with a fake smile on her face.

"Good girl" he said patting her on the head. On the way out of the room she could hear him muttering into his microphone "watch out, we've got a diva here"

Michelle rolled her eyes and got up to head down to the stage for filming. She turned a corner and walked right into a familiar blonde face.

"You" said Lindsay

"you" Michelle repeated to her as she tried to get by. "Excuse me I'm going to be late for my segment" she said as Lindsay blocked her way.

"and by the looks at things you'll be down a boyfriend by tonight" she said folding her arms. "Jon Jon doesn't take very well to his girlfriend wearing his jersey" she said scoffing "Rookie mistake."

"They made me" said Michelle with her hands on her hips.

"They made me" she mimicked back in an obnoxiously high voice. "Oh and by the way, see you at the game tonight" she said smiling walking away. "I'll be the one sitting with Mrs Towes" she said walking away.

Michelle was shell shocked. Jonathan hadn't even said that his mother was going to be at the game much less in town. there had to be an explanation but she couldn't think about that now. Not with a major event in her career about to happen.

Jonathan decided to hit the gym while waiting for Michelle's interview to come on. In the Blackhawks weight room was himself, Patrick Kane and Brent Seabrook. Kaner and Seabs were both jogging on treadmills so Jon decided to join them.

"Look there she is" said Kaner pointing to the tv

"Oh God...they made her wear it" said Jonathan as soon as he saw her wearing the jersey "turn it up " he yelled to Seabs.

"well it was nice knowing her" Brent laughed as he turned up the tv.

They showed the segment of Tazer in Michelle's class looking focused as he worked out.

"Does he ever not look serious?" Lana asked on the tv.

"Oh yeah," said Michelle smiling "We have a lot of fun together" she said as Kaner spoke over the tv

"I bet you do." He said as he pretended to smack a woman's ass while grunting. He then turned to hi five Seabrook.

"grow up Kaner" said Tazer rolling his eyes throwing a towel in Pat's direction.

"what? If it was me I'd be wetting my dick every time I saw her" he said to Jonathan.

"they're barely asking her anything about her classes or business" Jon said sounding disappointed. " it's all about me"

"newsflash Tazer" said Brent "She is dating the captain of the Blackhawks" he said seriously. They continued to watch as Michelle explained a bit about her classes and why fitness was so important.

"So what is the hardest part about dating Captain Serious?" Lana asked over the tv.

"He can be forgetful at times. He has a lot on his plate that sometimes the little things get forgotten" she said. "Like just finding out his parents are in town" Michelle said with a laugh.

"Shit" said Tazer pressing the emergency stop on his treadmill.
