Chapter One

"Are we allowed up here?"

"Doubt it."

"Well, maybe we could find another place."

"Are you trying to back out of this?"

"N...no, I'm not. I just," she studied the tall, dark haired man in front of her. "Oh never mind, come here." She gripped the collar on his polo, pulled him flush to her body and attacked his mouth with her own. His moan indicated his approval and he gripped her ass through her dress.

"Where are we anyway?" She asked as he sucked and nipped at her neck. Gentle bites left small impressions of perfect teeth along her collarbone.

"Broom closet," was the only response she got before his mouth was back on hers. She reached up and dug her fingers into his mess of gelled hair, making the neatly arranged curls tumble free of their hold. His hands creeped lower until they grasped the back of her bare thighs and he lifted her easily off the ground. She grabbed onto his shoulders and felt herself being pushed up against a cinder block wall. It was cool against her burning skin and the heat from the man ravishing her body.

Holding her body against his and the wall, he let one hand drift between her thighs, "Wet for me, eh?"

She could only nod her head as his fingers teased her core. He pushed her panties to the side and slipped a thick finger inside causing her to shudder against him.

"You like that," he stated, "Wait till I'm pounding inside of you."

"Jeez CiCi! Where were you?" Julia asked as the tall brunette came out to meet her friends. "You were chatting up some mysterious hottie then you disappeared. We thought you left!"

Cesira stopped in front of her three friends and contemplated telling them right there that she just fucked him in the upstairs janitors closet, but decided to hold off until they were all home and away from any potential public scrutiny from her roommates.

"Sorry, we lost track of both our groups of friends. I went to help him find his." She knew it was a blatant lie. He was there with only one other guy and that guy was busy chatting up the fake boob bartender.

"We are starving, wanna go to Sheetz?" CiCi really didn't want greasy food. She wanted to go home, but she wasn't the one driving so she was at her friends' commands.

"Sure." She discreetly adjusted her skirt, and ran a hand through her curls. She hoped her appearance wasn't too obviously disheveled, but she caught Caroline staring her down as if she suspected something about CiCi.

"I'm not really hungry. I can just walk home. Ci, wanna walk with me?" Caroline asked. She really didn't. Her legs were still wobbly from her escapade with the mystery man, and she was never really good at walking in heels anyways. But she knew if anyone could read that something was off it was Caroline. And she knew Caroline wouldn't go running to tell the other two girls in their house about what happened.
So CiCi begrudgingly agreed to walk the fifteen blocks home in the mild summer night. And as they said bye to the other two girls, they turned back onto Carson street and headed in the direction of their house.

"Alright, you have guilt written all over your face girl. Spill it," Caroline said as they walked side by side, their arms entwined.

"What are you talking about? Guilt for what?" CiCi was certain she wasn't guilty of anything. If nothing else she felt rebellious and excited all the same.

"Alright, fine. You clearly snuck off to make out because he left a nice trail of love marks on your neck." To emphasize her point, Caroline ran her fingers along the sensitive skin on her shoulder.

"We had sex."

"WHAT? That is crazy. Where?"

"Upstairs in a broom closet."

"Fuck CiCi, are you mad?"

"It was a million times better than any time I was with Mark."

"Really? A stranger was able to get you going better than your ex-fiancé?" CiCi nodded her head suddenly feeling shy.

"Did he give you the big O!?"

"Care! Oh my god!"

"What? I'm your best friend! I spill gory details about me and Tom all the time."

CiCi knew this was true. Even if she didn't prompt her friend into giving said details, they always managed to come up in some way in their conversations.

"Yes, I came. Twice."

"No shit? Does he have a big dick?"

"I didn't see it. It definitely felt amazing. But that could be just from the angle we did it."

"How did you do it?"

"He had me up against the wall."

"Wow, so unlike you! What the heck?"

CiCi blushed furiously because she knew Caroline was right. She had never had sex other than on a bed before tonight.

"I'm just tired of being so boring! I mean my intimate relationships previous to this encounter has been nothing more than a less than stellar performance by a guy who I thought I would marry. And to think that was what I thought it was supposed to be like! Then I started to hear what you and Tom were like or Maria and Derrick and I knew something had to change. Did I think I would meet some beautiful stranger and let him fuck me in a broom closet? No. But it happened and I don't regret it."

"Did you at least get his name and phone number? And did you use protection at least?" Caroline asked.

"He said his name is Patrick. And I gave him mine and he was going to text me so that I had his. And that was the stupidest question, yes we did. He got a condom from the restroom attendant."

"Ok good. No need to get some disease or pregnant. And did he text you?" CiCi pulled her phone out of her clutch to find two texts from a number she didn't recognize.

The first read: "Now you have my number too :)"

The second was sent only minutes ago. It said: "When can I see you again?"

"I guess you made quite the first impression! Go CiCi!" Caroline exclaimed as she looked down at CiCi's phone.

CiCi didn't realize it but she was grinning from ear to ear. She quickly replied to Patrick saying she could be available Saturday evening after the symphony at Heinz Hall finished.

"Can I take you to dinner?" He texted. CiCi looked at Caroline expectantly.

"He wants to take me to dinner. After the show. What do I do?"

"You go! But tell him you will meet him there. That way if his sober personality sucks you can leave," Caroline said as the girls were nearing the street corner to turn down towards their house.

Little did Caroline know, but Patrick had not been drinking tonight either. CiCi had been which was how she sidled up next to him at the bar to begin with. He sat sullenly next to his friend, who was shamelessly flirting with the big boobs behind the bar, playing around on his phone.

She quickly replied that dinner sounded great and asked him to meet her in front of Heinz Hall before 10 pm. He didn't respond again until she was in the quiet of her bedroom changing out of her dress. She noticed the marks Caroline pointed out and couldn't help but smile. Her smile only grew wider when her phone started buzzing indicating an incoming call.

"Hello?"

"What if I said I can't wait until tomorrow night to see you again?" Patrick rambled.

"I was that impressionable? Wow!"

"I'm serious. Can I see you now?" She thought about it and came up with a quick solution.

"We could FaceTime if you want." He fell quiet for a moment. She realized that he may not be able to FaceTime with her and maybe that wasn't an option.

"No, I want to be able to touch you."

CiCi wanted to be nervous, wanted to worry that maybe she shouldn't have let this strange man sleep with her. But he seemed too kind, and almost lonely when they started to chat.

"Look I'm not some creepy guy, I just really liked talking with you and was hoping you weren't tired yet."

CiCi was giving in to him and it was partly because she felt drawn to him in a way she couldn't describe.
"We could meet somewhere. In case I really do creep you out."

"What is open at 2 in the morning? The only places I can think of is Eat'n Park or Steak and Shake."

"Hmmm...both seem mildly disgusting. I say Eat'n Park, but the one at the waterfront. The Squirrel Hill one will be packed with college students."

"Alright, uh I have to change and it will take me about twenty minutes to get there because I am going to want to avoid Carson Street right now."

"You live on Carson?"

"Oh god no, a block down from it."

"Can I just come to you? Please Cesira." Hearing him call her by her first name made her heart skip a beat and she was giving into him even more. "We can hang out on your porch or something."

"More like stoop. Ok fine, you can come here. But I have three roommates and two of them went on an MTO run. But all three of them will kick you around until you leave if need be."

"Cesira I promise to be on my best behavior," he said seriously.

"Ok, you know where the Dominos is on Carson Street?"

"Sort of." CiCi went into detail about where she lived and Patrick told her he would be at her place within the next fifteen minutes. He was on the parkway in the direction of the fort Pitt tunnels. She quickly threw on sweats and a worn Duquesne t-shirt then flocked down the two flights of stairs to the living room.

Caroline was curled up on the couch watching late night infomercials as she nibbled on some crackers.

"Hey," she greeted without glancing at CiCi.

"He's coming over," CiCi blurted out. Caroline muted the tv and sat up straighter.

"Now I know you're crazy!" Caroline was shaking her head.

"He's not coming in the house. We are going to sit out front and talk. He seems lonely, Care."

"Now I think he's creepy."

"You didn't really see him or talk with him. So you can't really say that yet. And I don't think he is creepy."

"Yeah, well you met him in a bar and," Caroline started but saw CiCi's attention was on the television.

"Oh my god, that's him! Turn up the volume!" Caroline quickly hit the volume up button to hear the mystery man's voice. The news was giving an overnight update and the sports reporter was talking about the abrupt end to the Pittsburgh Penguins season.

"That's Sidney Crosby CiCi. He's the captain of the Pens. They just lost in the conference finals. That's who you were with?" Caroline stared at her friend incredulously. CiCi knew Caroline wasn't believing her.

"The guy said his name is Patrick. It was dark inside Mario's, but you get the idea. That is what he looked like." CiCi was wondering whether she was right in thinking that Patrick was Sidney, but let it go when she felt her phone vibrate. She barely heard her friend talking as she read that Patrick was there.

"I know you aren't from here, but come on CiCi, you've lived here long enough. Learn something about the local sports teams."

"I've never given two shits about sports, you know that Care. All arts all the way. He's here." Both girls moved to the window and peaked out to see a shiny silvery gray SUV sitting out behind CiCi's cruze.

"Well he's got money, that's at least a $40,000 car. And his windows are tinted so it's hard to see." CiCi rolled her eyes at Caroline and moved to the door. She quickly snuck out and stood on the top step and waved at Patrick. The headlights cut out and the door cracked open. He slipped out of the car and dashed across the quiet street.

"Hi," he said with a smile.

"Hey, well this is where I live." He stood on the sidewalk looking up at her with his hands tucked into his jeans pockets.

"It's cute," he said. A silence fell between the pair as they looked around the street. When they finally laid eyes on each other they broke out into a fit of quiet giggles and CiCi squatted on the step and patted the spot next to her. Patrick sat down next to her willingly.

"You work at Heinz Hall?" He asked as an ice breaker.

"Actually I run the art exhibits at Wood Street Galleries, but I am attending the symphony tomorrow evening as a member of the cultural trust." He nodded his head in understanding.

"The cultural district is one of my favorite places in the city."

"Where is your favorite place?" She asked already knowing the answer.

"Probably where I work," he said.

"At Consol?" She asked, then she slapped her hand across her mouth and she felt her ears burn in embarrassment.

"Uh, ha, how did you?" He looked at her with genuinely curiosity.

"You were on the television when I came downstairs to meet you out here."

"And you had no idea before?"

"I'm pretty oblivious to anything outside of the cultural district. I would live there if I could afford it, but I can't."

"Well, let me reintroduce myself, my name is Sidney Crosby," he said with an outstretched hand and a crooked smile on his face.

"Cesira Barsi," she said as she shook his hand eagerly. "And Patrick?"

"Is my middle name." He seemed relieved to have her know who he really was, but also relaxed in knowing that she hadn't the slightest clue what he meant to the city. His smile was genuine for once and as he bared his teeth she noticed the large gap on the bottom row.

"I just noticed you are missing teeth."

"Yea , I uh, had a slap shot hit me in the face back in March. Broke my jaw and knocked out several teeth. I went today to have the oral surgeon measure for my implants. Hence why I wasn't drinking, I had just started feeling my face again from where he numbed me."

"Wow, first time that ever happened?"

"Yeah, occupational hazard. So your name is," Sidney started to change the subject.

"I know, it's different. It's what I get for having been named after my full blooded Italian grandmother," she rambled. She always had to explain her unique name to new people and she felt quite embarrassed by it.

"I was going to say its beautiful." CiCi smiled at his kind words, but got distracted by the sound of a car coming down the cobblestone side street to her right. She shifted her gaze away from the man to her left to see Julia and Maria turning onto their street and pulling up behind Sidney's truck.

"Those are two of my roommates."

"Are they going to kick me really hard?" Sidney asked causing CiCi to throw her head back and laugh.
"No, I think you're safe. You aren't so creepy after all. Just a liar."

"And here I thought I was just winning you over," he stood and smiled down at CiCi. "Well, Ms. Barsi this was nice. Thanks for letting me see you outside of a poorly lit bar."

"Wait, you're leaving? You just got here." She stood too and stepped down in front of him on the sidewalk. She noticed that in flip flops she stood about five inches shorter than him.

"I don't have to go." He reached for a piece of hair that had inched its way out of Cici's loose ponytail. He played with it between his fingers, becoming mesmerized by its softness.

"Okay. Good." She reached for his hand that was still playing with her hair and wrapped her fingers around his thick wrist.

"You were worried about me being creepy. What about those two over there?" Without turning around he used his eyes to point at the car with her roommates still inside.

"They are creepy. You never asked about my creepiness. Let's go inside. That way we aren't being stared down." Sidney laughed and agreed, following CiCi into her house.

ok....i looked at this story a few times for a few weeks or months i cant remember lol so when i finally decided to read it i couldnt stop!!! up til 3 and 4 in the morning and when i wasnt reading it i was constantly thinking about what was gonna happen next so im so happy that i found this amazing story and read it and i will most likely read it over and over again because its just that good. fell in love with this story!!!!! im also in love with the sequel so far :) <3

I feel a little silly calling myself a "new reader" seeing as I started reading this story after it was already finished. But I just binge read this story in about three nights (hooray for only 4:30 hours of sleep the first night!).

I really enjoyed this story and was genuinely sad to see it end. I would also love a sequel if/when you ever found the time for it. Then again, I freely admit to being one of those people who get "post-book" depression at the end of whatever book or fanfic or novel I'm reading, especially late into the wee hours, haha.
