Collide

Chapter Two

Sidney opened his eyes and stared up at the off-white ceiling trying to remember where he was. Glancing to his left he saw a pool of golden brown hair draped over a gray t-shirt. A face to go with the thin frame of a body turned away from him. He leaned across to get a look of CiCi and brushed away a few loose strands of hair dangerously close to her closed eyes. He smiled when he realized they fell asleep talking into the early hours of the morning.

He was blown away by how easy It was to talk to the woman sleeping next to him. Usually he clammed up, and got nervous around beautiful women. He'd put up his guard and be a bit standoffish. When he saw her approach the bar last night he felt a pull to her and knew he needed to talk to her. He never expected he'd whisk her up to a dirty broom closet and have sex with her. He mulled over it as he drove James home and came to the conclusion that he wouldn't be so aggressive with her next time. If there was a next time, which if he had a say there would be. He'd be mindful of where they were and take his time with her. Although, he couldn't complain, he got her off twice and was impressed by that feat.

He didn't realize he got caught staring by her until he heard a sleep filled voice say, "Hi."

He snapped out of his daze and focused on her, "Hi." He blushed but relaxed when she smiled at him.

"What time is it?" CiCi asked as she attempted to look over his broad frame towards her alarm clock. He looked at his watch and saw it was almost 11.

"You're kidding! I never sleep this late." She flopped back against the pillows and looked up at the ceiling. Her shirt lifted exposing the soft curve of her waist and her flat tummy. Sid wanted to lean down and kiss the tanned skin taunting him, lick it even. Then push up her shirt and tease her tits some. He felt his dick twitch with that thought and averted his eyes away from her body to her computer desk.

An arrangement of flowers sat on the top shelf and a MacBook was turned off on the desk top. A few art books were piled nearby, mostly contemporary artists. And a single framed photo sat in front of the case with the flowers. He noticed CiCi was posing with a man in the photo. Why hadn't he noticed it when they were sitting up in here during the night, he wasn't certain. But he knew that the photo didn't have her posing with a sibling, she was an only child.

"He's nobody," CiCi whispered staring up at Sidney. He felt his cheeks redden when he knew he had been caught looking at it.

"Oh, okay," Sid said as he laid back down on his side facing CiCi. She turned to face him as well and smiled lazily at him.

"I guess you don't have much going on today, since it's Saturday and all?" She asked.

"You're right, I don't."

"When do you have to leave?" She asked. Sidney looked at her confusion evident in his eyes. He didn't have to leave here until she told him to leave. "I mean to go back home."

"I won't really be home. I go to Halifax. Then out to Santa Monica and then to Colorado late in the summer."

"Do you ever get a break?" CiCi didn't know much by way of sports, but what little she learned last night from their talk she knew his season ended and wouldn't be starting again until October.

"I'm supposed to take a few weeks off, but I'm starting back early because the Olympics are this winter."

"You compete in the Olympics?" CiCi asked amazed. He humbly nodded again relieved he met someone who wasn't star struck by him. She had no idea he helped his team win gold four years ago. "I think I need to get a book about you."

"Ha! Please don't. You could just ask me."

"Yeah, but I want to know all these sports related things that I am sure you get tired of having to relay. I want you to tell me about you."

"Well hockey pretty much is me so," Sid shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't believe that. You think it is because that is all you either let yourself show or that is all anyone wants to talk about with you. That has to wear on a person. I know I get tired of discussing all the art in the galleries I work for, that's why none of my roommates are involved with the cultural district."

"But books about me are usually inaccurate in some way. Promise me you won't run off to the bookstore to find something on me? Or google me? I like that you don't know anything about me and that I get to be the one to tell you."

CiCi reached over and touched his cheek and watched as he reacted by closing his eyes and leaning into her touch. He pleaded his case, and she got that. She realized that he wanted someone who could get to know him in a traditional sense.

"I promise when I want to find out more about you I will just ask."

He slowly opened his eyes and smiled a genuine, toothless smile. "Thank you. I should probably go." He pulled away from her hand on his face and sat up, hanging his feet over the edge of her bed. He found his shoes on the floor next to her television and slipped them on quickly. When he turned around he caught a glimpse of CiCi stretching as she stood from the bed herself. She walked around her bed towards the door to show him out.

"Wait, are your roommates going to be down there?" Sid asked as he reached for CiCi's arm. She turned to look at him and noticed he seemed nervous all of a sudden.

"No, they won't be. Not this late on a Saturday. Two had to work and one was running errands with her mom and fiancé."

"Okay. Good. I don't want to meet them like this." He released her arm and relaxed as he followed her down two flights of steps to the living room.

When they got to the front door CiCi turned toward Sid, "Well, last night was fun."

Sid laughed, pushed his hands into his pockets and nodded in agreement. "I hope you realize I never do anything like this. I'm not some man-whore or something. This is all really new to me."

"Oh, me too. It's completely not me, but," CiCi started.

"There was something about you last night, like some force was pushing us together. I knew when I saw you I had to talk to you. I never imagined it would lead to, you know." Sid suddenly felt nervous again and secretly hoped his point was coming across the way he intended.

"I know what you mean. It sounds cheesy, but I felt it too." Sid chuckled and reached for the door to head out into the warm late morning air. He turned on the bottom step and looked up at CiCi.

"Can I still take you out tonight after your show?"

He watched a bashful smile appear on CiCi's face and knew she wanted to see him again. "Yes, it will be fun. Where should we meet?"

"I'll be waiting out front of the hall at 9:30. Does that work?" She nodded her head, the grin on her face never fading. The look she was giving him was reflected in his own eyes and he reciprocated the smile.

"Great, well thanks again. And...and I'll see you tonight," Sid stammered.

"Bye Sidney," CiCi said softly never breaking eye contact. He turned towards his truck, took a step forward then turned back around to look at CiCi. She stood in the open doorway of her old Victorian row house. He couldn't pull himself away and quickly stepped back up the step to her. He grabbed her around her waist and pressed his lips firmly to hers. She brought her arms around her neck, her legs wrapped around him as he swept her up and found that he was coaxing her back inside. He closed the door behind him as she found a sensitive spot along the reconstructed part of his jaw to kiss. She did so gingerly and it made his stomach flutter as a pleasant shutter coursed through his body.

"I promised myself that I wouldn't do this like this with you again," Sid moaned as CiCi pulled at the hair on the nape of his neck. She wouldn't let up and he wasn't about to let her. They stumbled over to the couch, Sid collapsing with CiCi on top of him. They broke apart, studied each other briefly, their hearts racing, their breath unsteady and they giggled.

"Maybe we shouldn't. We could definitely get caught like this," CiCi reasoned, but Sid didn't want to stop. For some reason being in situations with her that could get them in some form of trouble made it that much more exciting.

"All the more reason to do it," Sid said boldly. He started to feel the same dominating behavior overtook him the night before. He wasn't the least bit surprised to see a devious spark appear in CiCi's eyes. She sat up on his lap, the weight of her body pressing in the most delicious way against him. He groaned as she ground against him and watched as she deftly stood up and removed her sweats. He tried to work as quickly as she had on his belt, but found her hands steadying his and then finishing what he started. The sexual tension was palpable and she wasted no time in straddling him and positioning herself over him.

As she slowly, painfully slowly slid down onto him his head fell back and moaned loudly. In no time were they working together, bodies united as one. His fingers gripped her hips as she moved on top of him, hers dug into his hair as their lips danced together in wet, sloppy kisses.

"Oh god, I'm about to come," she moaned against his lips.

He smiled, "Me too. Fuck! I can't get enough of you." He opened his eyes to watch as her movements sped up and became a little erratic, she leaned back some and cried out his name as her body quaked. Seeing her fall apart sent him over the edge and he came while pulling her shaking body against his and biting softly on her neck. He wasn't sure how he was able to refrain from crying out because the orgasm he was coming down from was possibly the most intense he ever had. Well aside from the previous night with CiCi.

They lay tangled together on CiCi's couch, arms wrapped around one another, CiCi pressing her face to Sid's chest. "Wow," he heard her mumbled. Her voice rumbled against his chest. She sat up, still joined with him and studied his face. He was content in all senses of the word.

"I don't think I can move," he finally said.

"I don't think I want you to," she breathed. He pulled her down to him and kissed her.

"We should have been doing that all night and not talking!" CiCi gasped. Sid erupted into a deep laughter causing CiCi to giggle along with him. As their laughter calmed they heard a car door open and close.

"Oh shit!" CiCi said startled. She scrambled off of Sidney, and he watched as se frantically bent over for her sweats. It registered that someone was coming to CiCi's making him pull up his own pants just as quickly as her.

"Who is it?" Sid asked as he buckled up his belt without looking at the frantic woman in front of him. She was moving to fix the pillows on the back of the couch to make it appear that they hadn't just had sex.

"Probably Caroline. She was only scheduled until noon because she is on call the rest of the weekend." She walked towards the door and stood on her tip toes to try to glance out the window. She failed but he couldn't help but appreciate her attempt.

"Alright, well she doesn't know we just had sex and if you don't let it be so obvious then she won't know."

"No you don't understand. She has this sick perception for things like this. She will know and then Jules and Maria will know and then I will be so embarrassed." She was pacing in front of the door. He approached her, reached out to grasp her shoulders and attempted to calm her down. He pulled her to his body and rubbed his hands up an down her back.

"Shh, don't worry okay? We are both grown, consenting adults. We wanted this," then it crossed his mind that maybe CiCi didn't, "Right?" He asked as he glanced down at her face. She snickered and shook her head.

"Yes I did. Alright, you're right. She knew you slept here so what's the big deal?" Sid shook his head matter-of-factly.

"Now walk me to my car?" He asked at arm's length. She nodded and opened the door a second time. The pair walked out and were greeted by a tall blonde man.

"Oh hey Tom," CiCi greeted. The man barely looked up from his phone.

"Hey, I'm just waiting for Care," he said then looked up doing a double take. Sid shared a stiff smile and draped a protective arm around CiCi's frame. She surprised him by wrapping hers just as possessively around his waist.

"Well you can go in, the door is unlocked." She looked up at Sid and smiled. They walked across the street to his truck. He glanced over to see tom staring at them, so he turned to angle them both out of the man's vision and looked at CiCi.

"See you tonight," Sid smiled. CiCi stood on her toes and pressed a gentle kiss to his lips.

"Bye," she said when they pulled apart. He unlocked his doors and climbed in. She backed away from his truck and watched as he pulled away, never leaving his sight until he was turning down the street.

ok....i looked at this story a few times for a few weeks or months i cant remember lol so when i finally decided to read it i couldnt stop!!! up til 3 and 4 in the morning and when i wasnt reading it i was constantly thinking about what was gonna happen next so im so happy that i found this amazing story and read it and i will most likely read it over and over again because its just that good. fell in love with this story!!!!! im also in love with the sequel so far :) <3

I feel a little silly calling myself a "new reader" seeing as I started reading this story after it was already finished. But I just binge read this story in about three nights (hooray for only 4:30 hours of sleep the first night!).

I really enjoyed this story and was genuinely sad to see it end. I would also love a sequel if/when you ever found the time for it. Then again, I freely admit to being one of those people who get "post-book" depression at the end of whatever book or fanfic or novel I'm reading, especially late into the wee hours, haha.
