Becoming Stronger together

*With Patrick and Christian*

"Patrick! I'm hungry!" Christian yelled to his brother who was in a connecting room
Patrick had still been dizzy, so he just said, "Order room service, or call one of the guys. I'm sure they'll bring you something."
"Fine. Can I have your phone?" Christian asked walking to the door, "Are you alright?"
"I'll be fine. I just need sleep. How are you feeling?" Patrick said sitting up in his bed
"I think I just had food poisoning because I feel fine now." Christian said, "I'm going to go walk Dixie, then I'll go get food. Want me to get you anything?"
"I'm good thank you though." Pat said and Christian left.

*At lunch*

The guys were finishing up and fighting over who would pay the bill, they finally decided to throw all their credit cards in a bowl and have the waitress pick one out herself. Shawzy ended up being the one who paid. They were heading back to the hotel, and saw Christian walking Dixie so they walked next to him and talked with him.

"Hey Christian. Are you feeling better?" Sharp asked
Christian looked up, "Yeah. I think you were right. It must've been food poisoning, but Patrick isn't ok. He said he feels really dizzy."
"That's weird. He was dizzy at practice too. Let's head back and get him some food. Maybe that'll help." Jon said.

They walked into the hotel and got to their floor, Shaw and Christian were running up and down the hall playing with Dixie while Sharp just stood and watched laughing his ass off. Jon walked into his and Kaners room.

"Hey we brought you some food. Pizza, your favorite!" Jon said handing him the box.
"I'm not really hungry right now. Thanks though." Kaner said, "Can you toss me my phone? I wanna call Mrs. Sharp and ask her how Tristan is doing."
Jon tossed him his phone and sat there with him till Patrick hung up the phone.
"Hows mini shit doing?" He asked Patrick
Patrick smacked him, "Why do you always gotta make fun of him and Christian. They have names."
"Why did you smack me?" Jon asked punching Kane in the stomach.

Patrick sat still for a second putting his hands covering his eyes. He started to get dizzy again and felt like passing out.

"Want me to get someone?" Jon asked
Kaner just nodded his head yes and Jon went and got Crawford.
"Hey Kaner whats up?" He asked him
Patrick kept his eyes covered, "I feel like I'm about to pass out."
"Why the fuck did you get me Toews? Get fucking Q you dumb ass." Crawford said walking out to get Coach Q.
"If this is a joke Patrick, I swear." Q threatened
"I'll be fine. I just feel really dizzy like I'm going to pass out or something." Patrick said
Coach Q looked at Patrick like he was an idiot, "I don't believe you feeling like you're going to pass out is you being ok." He said, "Have you had this before?"
"No this is the first time." Patrick lied
"He had it this morning during the morning skate." Jon said
"I'll be fine. I'm sure it's just food poisoning or something." Patrick argued
Q never pushed the guys to play if they weren't feeling up to it, "It's your call whether you want to or not want to play tonight. You're 25 years old, you can make that choice. Just let me know now."
"I'm fine enough to play." Patrick said.

Coach Q left their room and went to his room to go over their game schedule. Jon got everyone out of Patricks and his room. Jon made sure that Patrick rested and at food that would help energize him. Christian was with the team and they were playing Mario Kart.

*At the Game*

"Alright boys we can beat these guys! The Avalanche is an easy win!" Coach Q yelled then walked out into the players box.
Jon was waiting for everyone to walk out onto the ice, he stopped Kaner, "If you don't feel good at any point in time, I want you to either skate off or if you can't, then I want you to just fake an injury. I'm serious Pat."
"I will be fine. Just can't take any hits tonight, which I'm pretty good at avoiding anyways." Patrick said
"I'm keeping an eye on you. If you look hurt, I'm having Q pull you out." Jon said walking out before Patrick.

During the game Jon got 2 goals, Sharp got a hat trick, Handzus got a goal and so did Versteeg. Patrick kept getting really bad headaches and getting dizzy but just ignored it, Jon noticed it was happening too. Jon walked over to Q and told him he wanted Patrick taken out but he wouldn't do it. He said if Patrick isn't bothered by it then he can't do anything about it.
Christian was in the locker room with Dixie and he saw Tristan walk in with Mrs. Sharp.

"Tristan! Hey! How are you?" Christian said as T ran into his arms
Tristan hugged him, "I'm good. Who's puppy?" He asked petting Dixie
"This is our dog T. You have to be nice to her." Christian said picking up T
"Where's daddy?"
"He's playing right now. He'll be back in a little bit." Christian explained.

After the game was finished Everyone went into the locker room except Kane. He was upset with how he played and that he couldn't get a single pass through. He stayed on the ice taking shots on goal, but kept missing every shot. Christian walked out onto the ice and saw his brother was upset.

"Patrick I have a surprise for you." Christian said
Patrick turned around and saw Tristan in Christians arms, "Hey Tristan! I'm glad to see you little guy." He skated over to grab him for Christian.
Christian took his brothers stick and started shooting at the goal and made almost all the shots he took.
"Why'd you quit hockey again?" Patrick asked
Christian looked at his brother, "Because I don't know. Reasons I guess."
"Why'd you really quit?" He asked
"Jackie said she didn't want me to miss out on my childhood like you did. You had to go and move away with a billet family at the age of 14 and she didn't want me to do that." Christian said

Jon walked out onto the ice with a few of the guys, "Hey Shit head! You want to shoot at a goalie or just an open net?"
"Fuck you Jon!" He yelled back
"Hey language!" Patrick yelled at Christian, "Listen I'm going to go get changed. If you need me, I'll be in the locker room." and he skated off leaving Tristan there to play with Dixie.
