If We've Got No Place To Go..

For The First Time

Nervous energy pumped through my body all night. What if Jordan changes her mind? What if she decides I am an awful person? I mean..I know I am. I don't deserve her.

It's 6 a.m. and I'm getting ready to go to optional skate. I text Jamie: GOD, SHE'S GONNA KILL ME. A few moments later Jamie replies: PROBABLY. I roll my eyes, big help he is. I decide to leave early to get some caffine in my system. As I'm walking towards the truck, I can't help but think about that night. She was so pretty and stubborn, as always, I have discovered.

With a half empty Starbucks in hand, I walk into the AAC. I meet up with Jamie and Vern outside the locker room. "Hey, Segs, you skating today?" Vern asks. "Nah, probably will just do some weights and maybe tread climber." I say with a shrug. I nod to Jamie and head inside the locker room doors. The first thing I am met with is the perfect outline of Jordan's ass facing me. "Hey Segs!" Dillion chirped, completely noticing where my eyes are focused. "Um, hey.." I quickly avert my gaze as Jordan turns around. "Hey, Tyler." Jordan smiles. I smile softly, "Hi." I head over to my stall to change into workout clothes. I hear the light click of her shoes on the floor. "I'm so sleepy." Jordan sighs, leaning against the frame of my stall. Relief floods my body. So maybe she's as nervous about this as I am. "Me too, I got some coffee on the way here. You want the rest of it?" I busy myself with removing a pair of shorts from my bag. "What is it?" She asks.

"Caramel something-or-other; all I know is it has caramel and espresso in it." I pick up the cup and extend it to her. "Sure," Jordan smiles and accepts the coffee. She takes a sip. "So if you don't know what it's called, then how do you order?" I remove my shirt and throw on a cut up one. "I just tell the barista I want something with coffee but isn't pure bitterness." Jordan giggles (I do notice her eyes on my stomach. Completely strategic, I know) . "You can say barista but not a simple drink title?" I roll my eyes. "Those drink titles are NOT easy. Now, get outta here so I can change." Now she rolls her eyes, and says "Thanks for the caramel something-or-other." And leaves the locker room, with all eyes on me.

Notes

So, so, so, so, sorry! I've been crazy busy but am prioritizing so I can get back to you all! I hope you like it!
