James’ POV:
I rolled over and looked at Jen asleep beside me and I sighed. We didn’t have sex or anything…but I knew I was fucked…How could I explain this to Allison? Also…what was I going to do about Jenny? I loved her, but I loved Allison too…
I got out of bed and went into Nolan’s room, picking him up into my arms. “What am I going to do, buddy?” I sighed
Nolan laughed and pointed towards me, “Dada..”
My mouth dropped, “Jen!” I called
She came running into the room, “What what’s wrong?!”
“Nothing…listen…who am I, Nolan?” I asked
“Dada!” Nolan squealed again
Jen smiled, “His first word, James!”
I smiled back “I know.”
Allison’s POV:
I had fucked up…again…I did the stupidest thing possible. I had sex with Max Talbot…I didn’t go to the bar to find someone to fuck, but Max…he was just so nice and it just happened. Something had just clicked with Max…I couldn’t explain it…
I sighed and looked down to see the message on my phone ‘Sorry to run out on you like that, but I had to head off to Philly. I had a great time with you…maybe we can meet up again?-Max’
I typed back a quick reply, ‘I had a great time too…if I can I will call you later…if that’s ok.’ I hit the send button and dialed James’ number again. This time…he answered.
“Hey…”
“Hi…” I replied
“I’m sorry, I’ve been an ass…I had some thinking to do…” James sighed
“I understand…James…we should talk…” I said
“Okay…but it has to wait till tomorrow…I have a doctor’s appointment to go to and it’s out of town…”
“Okay…”
“Bye, Allison…”
“Bye, James.”
I sighed and called Melanie…I really needed a friend right now.
James’ POV:
“You did what?!” Evgeni Malkin yelled
“I just kissed her…we didn’t have sex…I just fell asleep…I just…I don’t know, G…I love both of them…” I sighed
“You cannot love both…you only love one…” Geno argued
“But I do love them both! Jen…I mean…Jen was always there for me…and Allison…Allison is just so perfect…” I replied
“Still…you only love one…and are in love with the other.”
“What’s the difference?” I asked
Geno sighed “In love mean you want to be with them…love just mean you really care about…”
I looked down, “Geno…what am I going to do?”
“You hafta figure out which girl is which…do you know that?”
I nodded, “Yeah, Geno…I do.”
