Oh Captain, My Captain (Sidney Crosby)

Oh Captain, My Captain (Sidney Crosby) 105:

Chapter One Hundred Five

“Move it Kris!” I growled as I passed the puck to him, hoping that it would get in.

Kris shot the put towards the Capitals’ goalie, #70 Braden Holtby, blocked. I cursed and then felt myself being pushed to the ground and slammed against the boards, but the hearing the horn going off that we scored, and then seconds later hearing the siren going off, game over. I took a deep breath and then pushed myself up off the glass, I bent over with my hands on my knees, I had to catch my breath because for some reason I felt really dizzy.

“You all right?” I heard and looked up to see Matt Niskanen in front of me.

“Yeah, I’m fine now, who got the goal?”

“Sid,” he answered and I stood up and nodded my head towards him.

“You all right?” Sidney asked and I smiled and nodded my head and then seeing him smirk.

We had just won the game against the Capitals, once we were finished cheering on the ice, we went back to the locker room. We showered and changed, I put jeans and a Pens shirt on. Doc walked in and said that he wanted me in the office because he wanted to check me out because I had hit the boards a little hard.

“How do you feel, Alex?”

“I’m fine,” I said as I looked at him and saw him sigh.

“Don’t lie to me Alex, I know you’re stubborn, but it’s all right to be in pain,” he said and I growled and nodded my head.

“My head hurts,” I muttered and Doc chuckled.

“Well I would imagine so, you bumped it pretty hard,” he said as his hand was under my chin and he was shining a light in my eyes, “I left your file in Coach’s office, I’ll be right back.”

“All right,” I sighed and then watched as Doc walked out of the office and I waited on the table.

I looked around the office and saw all of the articles on the wall and smirked when I saw the one from 2009 where the boys had just won the Stanley. I looked all over the wall at the pictures and then came to a door; I heard voices on the other side and scoffed when it was the Capitals. This door lead to the office next door that used as the visitors’ injury room.

I heard the door opened and turned around thinking that it was Doc, but my eyes widened when it was the creepy guy, “What are you doing here?” I asked as I watched as he closed the door and then locked it, “What are you doing? Who are you?”

“So many questions,” he muttered and then looked towards me with a smirk on his face, “Your mother said that you would be full of questions.”

“What are you doing with my mother?”

“She wants answers,” he said as he took a step closer to me and I glared at him, “She wants to know where her money is.”

“Gone,” I growled as he kept coming towards me.

“Well then, that sucks for you,” he said and I looked at him confused. The man took his jacket off and threw it on the ground.

“What are you up to?”

“Your mother said that if you didn’t offer up information, then I would be able to make this very painful,” he said as I looked at his hand to see that he was holding a needle, “Very painful.”

-Sidney-

Coach was telling us good job on today’s game, and we congratulating me on my goal. I smirked and nodded my head and then threw my shirt on. Doc walked in and we all asked if Alex was all right.

“Easy boys,” he laughed and we all sighed, “She’s a tough girl, she’ll be all right, I just left her file in Dan’s office.”

We all nodded our heads and watched as Doc walked back towards Coach’s office and then came back through and walked out of the door.

“Man, Alex is a tough girl,” Kunitz said and I smirked and nodded my head, “I saw that creep that was watching her at practice, does she know?”

“Yeah, she saw him,” James answered and I sighed.

“We need to find out who he is,” Pascal said and I nodded my head.

“He’s associated with her mom, so he can’t be any good,” Marc said and then we all snapped our heads towards the door to see Doc standing there.

“What’s wrong?”

“Someone’s in the office with Alex and the door is locked,” he said and we stood up, “Something’s not right.”

“Alex!” I called as I walked over towards the door and pounded on it.

-Alex-

“You’re good,” he cooed as he held his chin after I had gotten a good right hook in, “But not good enough.”

“I’ve taken up boxing, I’d like to think that I was at least a little good,” I growled as I blocked his punch and swung at him, only to have him duck and push me back into the wall.

“Not good enough,” he laughed and I growled and glared at him, “Aw well, that’s not a good look for you, Alex.”

“You never answered who you were,” I growled and heard the guys outside trying to get in.

I was trying to make my way over towards the door, but this guy wasn’t letting me anywhere near it. I cursed when he kicked me in the stomach and then pushed me back, slamming into the door that led into the visitor’s office. I felt the door shake, but then looked to see the guy coming at me and ducked, just in time to punch him in the stomach and as he bent over I kicked him in the groin.

I ran for the door but then felt his arms around my waist and him push me back. I growled and then made a punch for him, but he grabbed my arm and looked like he was going to bring his elbow down. My eyes widened because I thought he was going to break my arm, but I reacted quickly by turning around and bringing my leg up high and kicking him in the throat.

The guy got up quickly and then punched me in the face and my head snapped to the side, I spit up blood and then wiped my face and glared at him.

“You don’t know when to give you, do you?” he laughed as he placed the needle in his mouth and held up his fists.

“My daddy raised no quitter,” I growled as I took a deep breath and glared at him.

“Good for you, it lets me have more fun,” he smirked and then ran at me.

I cursed as he kicked me in the chest and I slammed against the door again. I gasped in pain and then felt him kick me hard again and I heard glass breaking and before I knew it I was on my back groaning in pain.

“Mommy says hi,” he muttered as he climbed on top of me, but just as fast as he was on me, he was off and I heard someone calling my name.

I was so dizzy and in so much pain, I heard someone calling my name and could make someone out above me. I concentrated and was shocked to see Ovechkin leaning over me, “You,” I muttered and then saw him smirk.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me up, but I hurt so much that I practically collapsed onto him. Ovechkin threw my arm over his shoulder and I felt him pick me up and walked into the next room.

“I’m all right,” I muttered and he put me down, but I still leaned against him for suppose and breathed heavily, I’m pretty sure he broke some ribs, “Thanks,” I muttered as I looked to see that six of the Capitals were holding this guy down.

“Who is he?”

“Wish I knew,” I said and felt dizzy and a burning feeling in my leg.

“You’re bleeding,” Ovechkin said and I nodded my head.

“Must have landed on some glass,” I said and then looked up towards Ovechkin and sighed, “Didn’t expect you to help me.”

“What? You expect me to just stand there and let the guy hurt you?” he asked and I sighed and rubbed my arm, “I’m not that much of an asshole.”

“You are on the ice,” I growled and he smirked.

“A lot of guys act differently on the ice,” he muttered and I sighed.

“Look out!” I heard and then felt the guy grab my arm and pull me back.

I cursed and then felt his hand push my head to the side and I felt a prick in my neck. My name was yelled and I felt intense pain wash over my body and I fell to my knees as the guy was torn off of me again. The last thing I remember is Ovechkin catching me and then seeing nothing but darkness.
