Rescue Me (Sidney Crosby)

Chapter Thirty Three

-Julie-

After driving for almost three hours and getting stuck in traffic, we were finally there, where ever there was. About a half hour ago, Sidney had told me to put a blindfold on, and I wasn't allowed to look.

"Can I look now?" I asked as I heard the car door open.

"Hold on," he said and I sighed. I felt the passenger door open and Sidney grabbed my hand, "Come on, Josh."

"All right," I heard him say and then got out of the car.

"How come he gets to look?" I whined and then laughed.

"You'll see in a second," he said and then I felt him stand behind me and then untie the blindfold, "And look."

I opened my eyes and then widened them when I saw this gorgeous house that rested in front of a lake, "Whoa."

"Nice, right?" he asked and I turned around and smiled at him.

"It's beautiful," I said and he smiled.

"It's Marc and Vero's lake house, they invited us up here for some relaxation," he explained and I smiled and then wrapped my arms around Sidney's neck and pressed my lips to his.

"Thank you."

"Any time," he said and he kissed my cheek, "Let's get going."

"All right," I said and then Sidney walked to the back of the Rover and grabbed the luggage and the cage for Sasha, because she was here too.

"Donc, vous l'aimez?" (So, you like it)

I turned around and saw Marc standing there smiling towards me and I smiled back and ran at him, hugging him, "C'est beau!" (It's beautiful)

" Je suis content que vous l'aimez!" (I'm glad you like it) he said as I pulled away and nodded my head.

"Ready?" I turned around and saw Sidney standing there with some of the bags, I grabbed Josh's since that was the lightest and he wouldn't like me take mine, and then nodded my head, "Let's go! Lead the way, Marc."

"All right," Marc said as we walked towards the house and I saw Vero talking with Allie and Tyler.

We all walked into the house and I looked completely in awe, I've never seen a house this beautiful before, "This is a lake house?"

"Yeah, we come up here every now and then," Vero said and closed the front door, "Called the maid yesterday to have her come and air the place out."

"Wow," I said and looked towards Allie to see her smiling.

"Well, I'll show you your rooms," Vero said and then smiled towards us and then bent down in front of Josh and Conner, "You boys mind sharing?" she asked and they shook their heads, "Good."

"There's a bedroom downstairs, and then five bedrooms upstairs," Marc said and I felt Sidney place his hand on my waist, "Sid, you and Julie get the one down the hall."

'...What about Josh and Conner?...' I thought, realizing that they were going to be on a separate floor. I looked down to see that Allie had grabbed Josh's hand and Tyler had Conner's. Allie looked over towards me and winked and I smirked, '...She planned this...'

"Come on," Sidney whispered into my ear and I smirked and laced my fingers with his and he lead me down the hallway and over towards the room.

We walked down the hall and Sidney opened the door and I gasped as I looked at the beautiful room, "You like it?"

"You planned this," I said and then looked at Sidney to see him smirking, "Why?"

"Because I wanted to get away with you, have some alone time," he said and I smiled, "Well it won't always be alone, but-"

"It's perfect," I said and then gripped his shirt and pulled him into the room.

He closed the door behind him and dropped the bags, pressing his lips onto mine. I groaned when Sidney moved his hands down to my thighs and gripped them, picking me off of the ground and allowing me to wrap my legs around his waist.

-Sidney-

Julie laid underneath me on the plush King size mattress, I was smirked when I heard her groan and arch her back when I slipped my hands under her shirt and rubbed her sides and kissed up and down her neck. Julie brought her legs up and wrapped them around my waist and I placed a hand on her thigh.

"Sid-ney," she breathed and I smirked then pressed my lips onto hers again and felt her hands get tangled in my hair. There was a knock at the door and I cursed and looked down at Julie and she smirked and then laid up front underneath me and leaned on her elbows, "We should get that."

"I got it," I growled and then climbed off of her and got off of the bed, '...Who the hell ruined the moment?...'

I opened the door and looked to see Allie standing there and I glared at her because we had a plan.

"Bed time- I mean, bad time?" she smirked and I bit my lip and shook my head. She laughed and then looked passed me and towards Julie, "Hey sweetie, Vero and I are going to the grocery store, you want to come with?"

"Sure," she said and I sighed and glared at Allie.

"Sorry, blame Vero, she wanted Julie to come," Allie whispered and I sighed.

"Ready?" Julie asked and I moved my arm so she could walk though, "You boys have fun!"

I sighed and then walked out of the room and heard the front door close. I walked into the living room to see Tyler and Marc in the backyard with Josh and Conner. I looked down and saw the puppy was inside scratching at the door to go outside. I smiled and picked her up and walked outside.

"What a view," Tyler said and I looked at the lake and nodded my head.

It was a nice view of lake Erie.

"I can't wait to get on the boat and go fishing," Marc said and I laughed. Marc turned around and looked at me, "Missed your chance, huh?"

"Your wife took her shopping," I grumbled and he laughed.

"They'll be gone for a while," he said and I sighed.

"Perfect," I mumbled and Tyler smirked.

"Can we go fishing too?" Conner asked as he looked up towards Marc.

"Sure!" Marc said and Conner smiled and I looked down towards Josh to see that he looked sad.

"What's wrong, little man?" I asked as I bent down.

"What's fishing?" he asked and I looked up towards Marc to see that he was shocked, but then remember that Josh didn't have a normal life growing up.

"You'll like it," I said and then Josh still looked sad. I sighed and then sat on the ground and leaned against the wall, "All right, you know what fish are?"

"Yeah," he said and then smiled and sat down in front of me and Tyler and Marc smiled and grabbed Conner and walked away.

"Well, we have there poles, you know, they're really long," I said as I put the puppy in my lap and then reached out my hands to show him how long the poles could be, "And there is this string on the poles, at the end of the string you put bait-"

"What's bait?"

"Well for fish, it's worms or bugs," I said and Josh laughed.

"Mommy hates those," he said and I smiled.

"Bet she wouldn't like it if I threw one at her," I laughed with Josh.

"Nooooo!"

"But you throw the hook into the water and wait for the fish to come."

"And can I come?" he asked and I smiled and nodded my head, "Yay!" Josh jumped onto my lap, and I quickly moved the puppy and placed the puppy in his lap, "Where'd Mommy go?"

"She went for food," I said as Josh sat forward on my lap and then leaned back against my chest.

"I'm hungry," he said and I smirked.

"Me too."
